  Well well just in case someone found this one in the future, the question turns out to be that my PC has been joined to a domain, but I was connected to a local account. I solved the problem by leaving the field. There may be other ways to work around this problem.

  I wonder if someone can please help me with a recurring error message I get randomly when starting up. I have a satellite P30-110, with WXP Home SP2 installed. Mobile P4 3.2Ghz processor, 512 RAM, ATI mobility Radeon 9600/9700 series.

  Turns off the computer as usual last night. He walks this morning and think that it load the bios OK and then got the black background with Win XP, and then think about this error page came. Has a blue background with the following text:

  "A problem has been detected and Windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

  If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

  If this is the first time, you've seen this error, I'm not too concerned about it. There are not too many people who have not encountered this scenario occasionally.

  The time to worry, if it happens regularly, as this may indicate a component defective that will need to be diagnosed later.

  On this occasion, I suspect that the start process has detected an anomaly any (possibly a play on hard drive control) and rather than allow Windows to continue it stopped with the error on blue screen.

  I have a desktop HP H8 1280t with Windows 7 working perfectly until security missed a month ago. Now I can not connect to Windows except on safe mode, or I get a BSOD.

  I tried the system restore and a number of other things without success. I met a bsod several months ago but did not have a since until September 8.

  On 8 September, I received two error messages from my Norton security (error 3048,3 and 8 505 129) and after that, the screen flashed to a blue screen with the 0x0000000a IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

  The reference to the bsod in each of the minidump files is:

  Name of the file: ntoskrnl.exe

  Address of the stack: ntoskrnl.exe + 75169

  In one dumps the file "System32\drivers\rdpcdd.sys" is also highlighted in pink in the dump file and in another landfill that the Portcls.sys file 'this' is highlighted in pink and in a third dump file "raspptp.sys" is highlighted in pink.

  On a total of nine dump files, six of them only emphasize ntoskrnl.exe in pink and the other three are one of the above files.

  I created a zip file of nine depressed and put my Onedrive but I can't figure out how to send the link to this discussion. I get to the "invite people to 'dumpfiles.zip' and 'Enter contacts to send an email with a link to this point' and don't know what to put in the" to: "box so that you can view the dump files.»

  I'm trying to convert the remaining two vm on my server Hyper-V 2012. I am a physical to virtual conversion of a slot machine tension because the converter 5.5 does not support Hyper-V 2012. The virtual machine is the two 2008 R2 server, one is an Exchange Server and the other is a domain controller.

  I have 2 ESXi hosts connected to a vCenter server. I tried to remove the vCenter ESXi host and just conversion using the IP addresses, which did not work. I also tried using the credentials of a local administrator on the server.

  I've already converted two other vm without any problems, so I don't know why I'm running sharply in issues with the latter two.

  Attached are the concerned exported logs. I see where the error occurs, but I can't understand why it's a failure. Other people with similar problems appear to have firewall, DNS, or disk errors. I don't seem to make the same mistakes that I've seen others get.

  Check your access to CAMNET-ESX1 port 902 of the computer on which the converter is installed?

  Also try running the converter user interface "as Administrator", then try again.

  Do not make a partition resizing.  Sysprep files in the source directories and correct destination.  The converter must connect the server vCenter Server, not an ESXi host directly.  The Windows Firewall is disabled on the server vCenter Server.

  Seems that "esxi1" is not visible from the converter server. Add it to the hosts file or use as IP.

  The destination is VMware ESXI version 5.5.0 build-1623387 managed by vSphere Client version 5.5.50 build-1618071. The destination data store is a 5.60 VMFS volume with block size of 4 MB, on a local SATA HDD with 923, 50GB.

  Both machines are in the same network and have no any King or firewall or ACL in switches.

  Once the converter VMware-converter-en - 5.5.1 - 1682692 does not work, with a touch of friend uninstall the 5.5 version of Converter Standalone Client, look for the VMware converter version - 4.0.0 - 146302 and install this version to the other machine.   I have a problem using vm 5.5 converter to convert a physical Windows 2003 SP2 machine in virtual machine. The vm converter is installed on the computer that I want to convert. When I run the conversion I'll get an error a general system error occurred: unknown internal error.

  I tried restarting the server and restart the conversion, but it did not work.

  I think the upgrade to R2 is a drastic measure and you should consider the impact before making the decision to do so. I don't recommend it at this point.

  You have multiple system drives that you want to convert? (C:\, D:\, etc.) ? If so, try to convert the C:\ just to see if the converter process works. I don't know what role the server has, but if other drives are just you might plan to the image of the disc or copy of the separate data later (if it works).

  I might suggest if the above does not work, we can clean all the VM converter from your source machine files manually, restart the server and try the process 5.1 new converter itself. (Something could be let go 5.5 installation or now stuck).
