Help with a motherboard Thinkpad t500 component

They are transistors (and doors or portals, etc.). Probably not all the same. Patterns are not available, but depending on where they are found, I couldn't guess that they would control indicators, such as Bluetooth or wifi.

  • Need help with my sound on T500

I had problems of her before, but one or two reboots that would resolve. Now, nothing, I noticed that Microsoft UAA is missing from Device Manager and my sound card drivers. When I tried to reinstall the sound drivers got the message not found MEDIA device for this driver. I use XP SP3 and made a little reading on how to install the UAA for it but nothing has worked so far. I can't reinstall my XP (I have my reasons for it) then any other way to solve this problem? By the way, I have a second laptop exactly the same so I can copy some of the files or drivers or anything else she?

I know that there are a lot more details that I can share but right now cannot think at all (to much beer in me) so if anyone still has a little trick, how can I fix that I'll post more tomorrow.

Yes, I read some of these tips on how to install it on xpsp3 but this kind of tampering. Ah, computers, they are so nice. Anyway my problem is solved, it works very well for now

  • Some problems with the upgrade of RAM on Lenovo ThinkPad T500?

    Hello

My laptop is Lenovo ThinkPad T500 and its main features as follows:

    -Processor Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 (2.53 GHz, 1066 MHz, 6MBL2).

    - 4 GB PC3 - 8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1067 MHz SODIMM Memory (2 DIMM).

-ATI Mobility Radeon 3650 with 256 MB.

I really need to upgrade the RAM to work with SharePoint 2010 and Windows Server 2008 R2. and my big question is:

    * How many memory locations that I have in my Lenovo ThinkPad T500?

I read on (http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-55644#t) that the maximum memory size for T500 is 8 GB.

Yes, in case if my Lenovo ThinkPad T500 laptop has only two memory slots, so, I'll have to buy 2 memory cards of ThinkPad 4 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 Low-halogen SO-DIMM, in order to get the 8 GB... and I have to throw my current memory cards...

    My other question is:

    * Is easy to install/remove RAM in Lenovo ThinkPad T500?

Sorry to ask the second question, but I have never dealt with before material.

    I would appreciate your inputs.

Thank you for your consideration of my request and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

The T500 has only two slots of RAM, so the upgrade to 8 GB would mean that your two existing 2 GB modules would need to be removed.

Replacement of the RAM is simple; Remove the four screws for the Palm and the locations of memory will be under the palm rest.

Need help with the installation of an adapter of graphics Super Palit GeForce 9500GT - 512 MB - DDR2 SDRAM in a M2N68 motherboard (narra6). Should I disable the onboard graphics in the bios? When the card is installed, no VGA work outs and the PC does not start. Checked and recontroler implementation of the card in the PCI slot. PC is a desktop HP G5200uk PC. Windows 7 operating system.

    Hello

The link below is a guige to install a video card in your Pc.  In particular, it seems that you will have to perhaps specify the location of the new card in the bios and save this change before you install the new card - see step 4 in the guide on the link below.  If your new card fits into the PCI Express x 16 slot, you will need to define PCI Express in the bios and save the changes.

  • Need help with bios

Hello, I recently got a "pny nvidia geforce gtx 750 1 GB ddr5' and I tried to install it and I heard a sound of beeping 3 times and got a black screen, indicating the model number of gpu and I went on the web to see solutions. I tried many of them but two, one is to buy a new motherboard and other is install the latest driver for bios. I had no money, so I went with a bios update. As I tried to update I got an error message "253" Please help. my pc specs "hp Pavilion slimline 1224, UC-i3-3240 upgraded, gpu no, 1 TB hdd, 6 GB of ram."

When you request support, please provide the full model name and product number (p/n) of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq made thousands of computer models. Without this information, it can be difficult, even impossible to help you solve your problem.

The information requested above are on the side, back or bottom of your computer, or on the BIOS boot screen. Please see How can I find my model number or product number? for help more to find this information. DO NOT include your serial number. Please enter the product/model information consumer HP Online Support page and post it here for our review.

Assuming that you mean that you have a desktop HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1224, there is no update BIOS in the WIndows 7 section of the page of drivers of desktop HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1224. The error you get indicates that the update is not for the version of the BIOS of motherboard and base of your computer.

Again, it is likely that the video cards, you tried are incompatible with the motherboard of your computer. In addition, power supply factory is only rated at 220 watts and is unlikely to properly feed a 750 GTX graphics card that requires power system rated at 400 watts or greater.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

  • I need help with an installation failure to interpret and troubleshoot a Setup log.

Background: A few years ago, many editors of cinema used Final Cut Pro 6 (also contained in Final Cut Studio 2) for their editing projects.  Shared Apple Final Cut X uses a different format that is not compatible with FCP6.  Sometimes, these editors are called to work on a few historical projects that have been published in FCP6 and need this version to run now.

Starting with OS X Lion, FCP6 would install not in Lion and thereafter.

According research by Jeremy Johnston as noted on his blog, he discovered that Apple has inserted a file in the folder CoreServices in the Library folder of the system folder that causes versions the version Final Cut Pro X (and other older Apple programs in the same situation) do not settle.  He suggested changes to this file that would seek to prevent interfering with the installation of FCP6 in Lion, many users of final cut PRO 6 were successful in their efforts to install in Lion and work with it.

Later in a discussion update on installing FCP6 in Mavericks, HawaiianHippie determined that the simplest way to perform the installation of FCP6 was simply copy this file and remove it from the system folder, install FCP6 and then restore the copied file:

I used this method with success to install FCS2 in Yosemite:

However, in my attempts to install FCS2 in El Capitan, it fails in the last 5% to install the first DVD:

First of all, I need advice on how to display an extremely large Setup log in this thread (on MacRumors, it is a method to insert a 'code' in a small box that can be the object of a scrollbar if necessary to read all along).  I am unable to find such a method to post here.

Then once approved, I need help to determine which component is causing the installation to fail and perhaps this element can be omitted from the installation:

If this element is not required, then maybe FCP6 can be installed successfully without it.  And if that omitted element is necessary, perhaps a manual method to install it can be determined by pacifists.

It is my goal to help those who need to install and use FCP6 on their new Macs running El Capitan.

Here is the post on MacRumors with pre-installed Setup log:

  • Very slow Macbook Pro (2012), please help with report EtreCheck

    Hi all

My Macbook runs very slowly, I tried a number of things suggested online but none worked. I recently went to a repair shop and they suggested it could be to do with the dataflex (not sure if this was exactly, but I remember it sounding similar.) They described as a hard drive to another internal component connection, sorry for the inaccuracy.) I have me am replaced, but this did not help either.

I downloaded the software EtreCheck and I was wondering if someone could help me to make light of the report on possible solutions? I have the feeling that it could be the hard drive needs to be replaced, but have no evidence of that. Hello mrdivorce,

It looks like of course as evidence of a hard drive failing for me. Hard drives 2.5 "in the MacBook Pro tend to fail after 2-3 years. Judging by the date on your MacBook, I think that your time is up. Maybe try to find a different repair store. Looking for Service Center authorized Apple (https://locate.apple.com/).

I suggest upgrading to an SSD and increasing your RAM too. Then you have the hardware to run the last OS X 10.11.

  • 1 TB HDD in a Thinkpad T500?

Is it possible to replace the SATA 160 GB hdd with a 1 TB hard drive in a Thinkpad T500? It seems that some laptops do not support large capacity disks. Thanks in advance!

Most of the large readers (> = 750GB) use what is called "Advanced format". This means that the slopes are divided into 4 KB sectors, rather than sectors of 512 bytes. I run a 750 GB drive in my W500, so I doubt that there are other problems. In general, once you deal with advanced formatting, there is no other problems until you exceed 2 TB, where you need to format as a GPT instead of an MBR disk. Advanced formatting considerations depending on what OS you are using, it research (using any search engine you like) on 'advanced format drives vista', of your operating system.

  • Pavilion HPE h8-1207eo: Sapphire R9 380 will work with chicago motherboard?

    Hello

I'm about to buy a new graphics card for my older Pavilion and I think to buy this R9 380 of Sapphire.

I heard that people have had problems with the old BIOS from the motherboard in this PC (IPISB-CH2) and I would like to know if the same problems with this graphics card would occur. I think that he has dual bios which (I assume) would make the card compatible with older motherboards. I did all other components work with the card.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

    -Max

    Hjalpmovie, welcome to the forum.

If you read the specifications tab in the link you provided, he says to a power supply (PSU) of not less than 500W.  The power supply of your computer is only 460W.  I suggest at least 600W to make sure that you have enough power for the future updates.

You must also measure the space where the map is to ensure that he will accept a card that is 9.5 "(237,35 mm)."  It is a VBIOS hybrid that allows him to work with a legacy or a UEFI BIOS.  If it were me, I would contact the manufacturer to make sure that it works before you order it.  This will save the shipping charges to return it if it does not work for some reason any.

Please click on the Thumbs up button '+' if I helped you and click on "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.

Obviously the PCI memory controller driver Is not installed on my ThinkPad T500 2081-CTO OS Vista 64 bit and appears as an error when the box running Lenovo system Toolbox.

Searching this forum I found a psot as follows BUT Jose for a laptop T-200.

I suggest forget you turbo memory. Intel stop talking about and they have not released a driver since 2009. It is 2 years before service pack 1 has been released. I made some tests and I could never measure an improvement with an installed card. As far as I am concerned, it of just something to break and interfere with other components.,.

  • I want to move my hard drive from a computer with a motherboard dead to a newer machine. The activation process for Windows XP SP3 failed.

I want to move my hard drive from a computer with a motherboard dead to a newer machine.  The activation process failed.  How can I get the operating system XP Professional sp3 reactive?  I have the code original and other info.

original title: Moving the death machine drive

    Hello CarrolScott,

The activation problem arose because the hardware on your current computer does not match that of the hardware on the machine whose mother is dead.

The best option for the reactivation is to use the telephone line. This, unfortunately, is automated and may refuse to turn on your system; However, don't despair just rest on the line after the automated atcivation crossed its procedure and you will be transferred to a real person. Tell this person you've done, and it should be able to help activate.
