I read Bob's messages of August 2010 on the case "pluggins.
As ', mniasghjkhacbjkb ' has said, I'm going to open an indesign file another designer has worked on and I have problems opening it in CS5 on a Mac as it has several errors in plugin.
Seems the InDesign file had been created in CS3 (or he said that when I click on "command + I" keys"on the file.)
The plug ins needed are:

It does not appear as "generally, the error you see when you try to open a file saved in a newer version. That looks like the attmeting list to open a CS5 document in CS4. "As Peter Spier suggested. Unless the file has been created in CS6 (this version exists?)
I can't find in the floppies to install my CS5 plug-ins.
Could you help me? What can I do? Where can I get these plug-ins?

To me, this seems to indicate that the latest version of InDesing you have CS5 Version 5 (AKA CS3) is version 7 and CS5.5 is version 7.5. Your operating system cannot tell you that the file was created in a newer version than the previous that you have installed.

7.1 the cab is a new for CS6 and Lightroom 4 raw conversion engine based on adjustments localized and targeted of lights and shadows. These tools were never available in the Elements of ACR version and will not feature; so, version 6.7 is the version, you even though it will not work with PSE9.
You can of course use the latest free version of Adobe DNG converter and continue using PSE9 after the conversion of your raw digital negative format files of Adobe's gross.

I opened an older catalog and lost the original catalogue with over 2 years of picture about it (I have never opened any other catalogs - I never chose to save either). It is not saved anywhere that I can see as a catalog on my computer. If I didn't save it before opening the oldest catalog (I don't remember specifically save anything) would it save in another format, other than a catalog somewhere?
What happens if you choose file-> to open the new item? Another catalog is listed, and you can choose it? Simply switch to a different catalogue may not cause the previous catalogue to disappear.

Uninstall Avast. It's a worthless scam that don't do anything useful. The only thing it does is a lot more then what it claims, that he you will protect from.

I need help with an installation failure to interpret and troubleshoot a Setup log.
Background: A few years ago, many editors of cinema used Final Cut Pro 6 (also contained in Final Cut Studio 2) for their editing projects. Shared Apple Final Cut X uses a different format that is not compatible with FCP6. Sometimes, these editors are called to work on a few historical projects that have been published in FCP6 and need this version to run now.
Starting with OS X Lion, FCP6 would install not in Lion and thereafter.
According research by Jeremy Johnston as noted on his blog, he discovered that Apple has inserted a file in the folder CoreServices in the Library folder of the system folder that causes versions the version Final Cut Pro X (and other older Apple programs in the same situation) do not settle. He suggested changes to this file that would seek to prevent interfering with the installation of FCP6 in Lion, many users of final cut PRO 6 were successful in their efforts to install in Lion and work with it.
Later in a discussion update on installing FCP6 in Mavericks, HawaiianHippie determined that the simplest way to perform the installation of FCP6 was simply copy this file and remove it from the system folder, install FCP6 and then restore the copied file:

However, in my attempts to install FCS2 in El Capitan, it fails in the last 5% to install the first DVD:
First of all, I need advice on how to display an extremely large Setup log in this thread (on MacRumors, it is a method to insert a 'code' in a small box that can be the object of a scrollbar if necessary to read all along). I am unable to find such a method to post here.
Then once approved, I need help to determine which component is causing the installation to fail and perhaps this element can be omitted from the installation:
If this element is not required, then maybe FCP6 can be installed successfully without it. And if that omitted element is necessary, perhaps a manual method to install it can be determined by pacifists.
It is my goal to help those who need to install and use FCP6 on their new Macs running El Capitan.

Very slow Macbook Pro (2012), please help with report EtreCheck
Hi all
My Macbook runs very slowly, I tried a number of things suggested online but none worked. I recently went to a repair shop and they suggested it could be to do with the dataflex (not sure if this was exactly, but I remember it sounding similar.) They described as a hard drive to another internal component connection, sorry for the inaccuracy.) I have me am replaced, but this did not help either.
I downloaded the software EtreCheck and I was wondering if someone could help me to make light of the report on possible solutions? I have the feeling that it could be the hard drive needs to be replaced, but have no evidence of that. Verification has been run for the problem of "Beachballing" and got the sub report, please let me know if more info would be helpful. I hope it's telling in a way!

Hello mrdivorce,
It looks like of course as evidence of a hard drive failing for me. Hard drives 2.5 "in the MacBook Pro tend to fail after 2-3 years. Judging by the date on your MacBook, I think that your time is up. Maybe try to find a different repair store. Looking for Service Center authorized Apple (https://locate.apple.com/).
I suggest upgrading to an SSD and increasing your RAM too. Then you have the hardware to run the last OS X 10.11.

Hello! So, I'm new here and this is my first post. (BTW, I CS6 and spin 10 Pro Windows)
I have some photos that I need PhotoShop/edit. I take photos which are usually resolution 760 x 1024 and what makes them in 16:9 aspect ratio pictures without stretching it. What I use is Microsoft paint and cut the whole photo, stretching of the canvas up to 1920 x 1080 (16:9 ratio), paste the cut image where I want in the photo, then I select anywhere from 15 to 200 pixels (depending on the photo) of the side and stretch it across the empty space to fill it so the sides are not empty. Having a sense what I do? It has some drawbacks for me however, 1. When upscaling (to facilitate the 16:9) 1920 x 1080 my photos in bulk a few details and objects are a little wavy at the edges should be smooth. 2. when extending over the sides, it tends to not be able to choose the top and low 1 or 2 pixels so I must fill this space using the tools I have. 3. it is extremely laborious when you make several photos and faster I can do best. 4. it is Microsoft paint, sucks compared to PhotoShop, lol, duh. So I need some help with what I've done (the process I explained) makes faster and better. I Photoshop CS6 (version student and yes I am a student), I have not used but... why the hell not? Well I installed on my PC a year or two before and then had problems of PC so I did a fresh install of Windows and reinstalled never, I thought I was going to need, but don't have, which is why I've never used it. Now, I do some photo editing and thought why not use PhotoShop? I did nothing as deactivate the license on my PC before reinstalling my Windows, whatever? I'm going to do a fresh install of windows on my desktop (first time in two years) on a new 512 GB Samsung SSD Pro 850 and I'm waiting for the SSD happen, so I was thought for now I would just use it on my laptop (1 TB EVO 850), but the license allows multiple PC even if I was the only one to use it? Is also easy/fast to learn PhotoShop? All I have to do is a photo of basic editing. Hope that everything I said is logical.

Yes, you can install Photoshop CS6 on two machines.
You had it previously on the same machine and I think you would have to reinstall it on the even later, so that would not cause any problems.

You can do all of these steps to resize an image in Photoshop without going into the paint.
In Photoshop, open you picture and go to Image > size to resize and choose the desired image dimensions

Hello, I have major issues with horror. It interferes with almost all of the process: navigation (Firefox or Chrome), MS Office, Adobe Pro, Finder... First uninstall Sophos. Anti virus apps are not necessary and may cause problems. Remove the bittorrent as well. It can be a source od malware.

I have a guess on why it has stopped working. Firefox 40 has some changes to how extensions can work with the user interface, so quite a few extensions that have been more than one year must be updated for Firefox 40. It has been updated on January 10, 2012.
Anyway, the way of 'long' to display the passwords saved in Firefox is through the Options page, the Security Panel, the saved passwords button.

When I open the browser, I don't see is a totally white screen of white, with all the toolbars at the top.
I know that my physical connections are very good: I have tested the modem, turned the pc market etc and I can also receive/send emails.
This problem started today, September 8, 2011 and has never happened before.
Is it a coincidence that Firefox itself to day before I disconnected yesterday evening? Could this be something to do with this particular new update?

One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

I bought Toshiba canvio v63600-C external 1 TB HDD of the Qatar with S/n 13QZTL8TTSX4 and P/N: HDTC610EK3B1 purchased on date 07/07/2013 with a 3-year international warranty, but lately the last week 1 is having problems when the drive is connected to my laptop its playback speed becomes very slow and now the last 2 days It is not detected at all. When I show this problem with Mumbai Toshiba customer to andheri they said your car is under warranty, but you need an email of reference to support Toshiba in order to be repaired from our offices.

HP Deskjet 3051 a J611: help with Windows 10 drivers? Incompatibility problem?
Hello, I had to get help with a problem with my printer HP Deskjet 3051 a J611.
I was always able to properly scan using my printer until I installed the update for Windows 10.
I use a Sony VAIO computer Fit portable (may 2013 model) originally shipped with Windows installed Pro 8.1.
After I installed Windows 10 and I tried to use my scanner two weeks later (it prints very well), I can't seem to use the same program I was using before 10 Windows to use my scanner. I tried to use printing HP and doctor Scan to fix my problem, and he told me that my printer had an unknown driver error that it could not solve. I also tried to reset my laptop (and power cycling the printer) and to uninstall and reinstall the driver for my printer.
One thing to note: I use my printer using the wireless and wired (via USB), Wi - Fi for the scanner and the printer.
I usually use the printer function when I want things quickly, using an app on my Android phone, or otherwise, using my laptop (wireless, of course). But when it comes to use the scanner, I find it works much more quickly to use it via USB on my laptop via the Wi - Fi.

We have problems with our iMac, like below. If anyone has any inside. There is plenty of space on the hard drive and I have just run Cocktail to maintain and made sure the operating system is up-to-date.
We often live very slow behavior in task such as launch of mail, safari or anything else besides and sometimes even just type text in boxes. It is also very slow at startup and shutdown.

All software maintenance is in fact slow down your Mac. The only maintenance that has need for a Mac is back up. Remove any object to maintain, by asking directions.
Also, your M-Audio drivers are listed as obsolete in Yosemite. This means that any M-Audio Midi device to update driver to be useful in El Capitan.

13 - Yoga recommend a year later
I am currently in the market for a new laptop / ultrabook and the convertibility of the laptop mode to all Yoga positions really intrigued me. Assign customers list size as a problem and recommend the 11s in its place. I had the opportunity to play with the 13 of Yoga in a local store and its size doesn't seem that heavy to me. They did not have the 11 s in stock, but I tried to tap on a 11 "MBA to see if there is no difference, and he felt cramped.
The only concern I have at this point is all the problems experienced by some users of Yoga (Wifi, touchpad, touchscreen, the problems of paint rubber ect...) What I want to know, now that the Yoga 13 is out for almost a year (9 months), those of you who have had your 13 Yoga for a while, would you still buy a 13 of Yoga today if you knew what kind of experience you have IE you would recommend it a year later.

N ° it is a close, but supported not refined and buggy drivers and no improvement in timeliness of Lenovo, have begun to turn me against the mark as a whole.
A few points:
Unfefined - trackpad driver - it is a big as a piece of hardware, but could be a lot smoother and have more options to customize and enhance the experience (for example, the ability to turn the right-click - this should be a MUST for any panel simple touchpad).
-Auto-rotation - closed unexpectedly at random work - improved with the last update of the BIOS but still have to sleep/wake or even do a full reboot to an opportunity to recover.
-Battery - like he had a better life, but it's a trade-off the PC is stuck with until Haswell. However, it seems to lose his ability to far too fast. Looks like it's on track to be completely turned before the mark of 2 years. When I have an ASUS laptop at home with a battery that's always going strong in it's 4th year, it's really frustrating.
In summary, I cannot recommend Lenovo products and will not buy any more myself, until they refine their driver support. I recommend the Surface Pro - tried that out in the store window the other day - MUCH - loved and much better than I thought I would.

Hi all, I'm Mike. I'm a newbie here and hoping for more help with my Aspire 5735
Hi, as above, I bought the Aspire 5735 several years now. It is running Vista Home Premium SP2 and became excruciatingly slow. When first started it becomes unusable for a while during which it seems to be the continuous disk activity. I tried to look in the Task Manager to see what is happening, but that itself takes an age to start and then not show anything unusual. I also tried all the usual stuff such as disk cleanup, defragmentation and even had use CCleaner and clearing out the prefetch folder, but nothing helped.
I finally decided that the only option is to use two recovery disks that I created when it was new in an attempt to restore it to factory State but I can't find information on the way to recovery. If anyone can help with this, I would be very grateful.
