Hide excel

Hello

I created this VI 2014 with the Toolkit Labview generator of reports.

So far, everything works OK except that I'm not able to keep hiddin Excel.  I don't want Excel to show everyone.  just the data on the front panel.

I looked in the examples shown and tried to integrate them, but it still doesn't work (hide).

Please keep in mind that this is a work in progress as I've not closed Excel but that is another thing that I do not know how to deal with the report generator tool.

Could someone please take a look and possibly let me know what I am doing wrong?

Thank you.

    Hi Renu,

Recently, I came across a similar requirement, and I went to without BEEP features to hide and show columns during execution, unlike the RTF.

But I did it in Excel model with the help of the Macro. It works fine for me.

  • How to hide/remove a column in the Excel file to download

    All,
I have about 7 iam columns display on my IR but it is 1 column on this report, on which I don't want to appear download excel file. How to achieve this?

    apex of 4.1.0/theme20/report region,

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello

For IR, every download format is linked to the value of APPLICATION specific. For CSV, his CSV files. So you can put the condition for columns to aid: REQUEST the value as follows.

Export attributes report goto-> select the column to hide for CSV-> conditional display

    Condition Type - PL/SQL
Expression1 -: APPLICATION is set to NULL OR: ASK! = 'CSV '.

  • Excel color and border VI: no fill?

If I use Excel color and border VI to change the format of a cell, I will get my default color to white for my cell phone.  However, I'm looking for no fill.  I don't want any color, since the color helps to hide the line of the grid.  I have not get the fill for the cell color option in LabVIEW?

I got it.  I just need to change the function by adding the pattern property and set it on-4142, which is not filling.

  • Management of Popups in Excel using ActiveX

I'm having a problem similar to the problem that is referenced in this post:

    https://forums.NI.com/T5/LabVIEW/handling-popups-of-Excel-while-editing-it-via-Active-X-control/TD-p...

    The difference being...

My company has a "database" Excel that stores all our product information. At the start of my application, I read this database using ActiveX. Recently this Excel sheet has been updated to include new features by someone else in my company.

Now, when you open this particular spreadsheet, I get this message:

It does not come to the front of the screen, and unless the user realizes that it is for the LabVIEW program seems to hang up, causing the user to close the LabVIEW program, because they do not realize that LabVIEW is waiting on Excel, which is waiting on the user to make a selection on this popup.

In the post that I quoted above, they get around this by using a knot of property with the property 'Alerts', set to false. This works to hide mistakes but doesn't seem to work for this instance.

Is it possible, via ActiveX, to "click" the button "Update only ' without the user having to do this.

    OR

The worst case scenario, is there a way to bring this popup forward to alert the user that Microsoft Excel requires an entry?

    Thank you

  • When Microsoft Excel loads the following error occurs: Error 1406 Setup cannot write the value in the \xlsx registry key.

I have Windows XP on a PC, I bought at the beginning of 2009.  I have been using Microsoft Office applications with no problems until now.  When I try to open Excel, the following events occur: 1) a presentation box appears and poster - "Please wait while the window configures Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007.  Collection of the required information.   2nd) another box displays the following message: Error 1406 Setup cannot write the value in the \xlsx registry key.  Make sure you have sufficient permissions to access the registry or contact the Support Services technical Microsoft (PSS) for help.  For more information about how to contact PSS, see PSS10R. Okie dokie.

Well I dug on the web and found someone with the same problem, and they said that when they have disabled "McAfee VirusScan 8.5 Access Protection", this error has disappeared. If this applies to you, give it a whirl if you wish.

But the best support that I found came from this website: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/838687. The jist of it is (trying to fix it yourself):
Fix it myself to fix this problem yourself, follow these steps:

    1. Log the computer by using an administrator user account.
    2. Start Microsoft Windows Explorer.
    3. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
    4. Click the view tab.
    5. Under hidden files and folders, click Show hidden folders and files.
    6. Clear the Hide extensions for known file types check box, and then click OK.
    7. Open the following folder: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\Data\
    8. If you are running Office 2003, right-click Opa11.dat, and then click Properties. If you are running Office XP, right-click Data.dat, and then click Properties.
    9. Click the Security tab.
    10. Click Advanced.
    11. Click the permissions tab.
    12. Click to select everyone in the list entered permissions and then click change.
    13. Click to select the full control check box.
    14. Click OK three times. If these steps do not resolve this issue, delete the Opa11.dat file or the Data.dat file in the following folder and then restart an Office 2003 program or an Office XP program:
      C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\Data
