Webcam on the Satellite A200-175 does not work - error code 10
Hi all
I bought a Satellite A200-175 yesterday and I am trying to use the webcam, but it does not work. I searched the forum for possible solutions, but so far I have not found anything that solves my situation.
The laptop came with a preinstalled Vista OS, but the software of the webcam was not preinstalled. So I downloaded the latest Toshiba download page doftware and installed.
Subsequently, it still does not work and so I changed drivers for generic Microsoft (based on the advice of the forum).I tried to reinstall drivers (several times), but that did not help. Device Manager keeps giving me the error code 10 (device cannot be started).
I'm a bit of idea, so any help would be appreciated!
Hello Franca
It's very strange because I installed the recovery image on notebooks P200 and U300 (both with the webcam) and I didn't notice any problem. After the first boot the cam will be recognized as new hardware and installed correctly.
Have you installed some Messenger like Yahoo or MSN and try to use it with one of them?

I appreciated all the help,
Hello
Error code 10 is issued when the operating system knows exactly what went wrong. The result of this error is a hardware failure. Sometimes, it might be due to viruses, to which you can scan your system and take off from these infections. But the most likely reason would be some registry errors. You can use the registry scanning software to run a test on the box and they can automatically correct the error.

CD/DVD drive does not work - error code 39 on Satellite A300
Good evening.
I have a problem with my Satellite A300.
I can't get the drive to function.Device Manager indicates that the driver is current. But also says that it is corrupted "code 39".
I tried to download the new Toshibas website drivers but they are all come as code 39 cannot install. First, I noticed that it was last night when I was installing Norton 360. I got the cd it worked once then nothing.Anyone ran across this before?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.Hello
I had the same problem and I found a solution here in the forum.
The problem is that your Windows registry database is confused upward. You must first access the Device Manager and should remove the reader of CD/DVD from the list of devices.
Second, he must start the registry and delete the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters completely from the following registry key values:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}Finally, restart the laptop and test the CD/DVD drive again!
Good bye

recorder/CD player, dvd player does not work, error code 19
The information I get from the resolution of the problems, says the device driver cannot be resolved. What should I do?
Try following the steps under "Windows 7 or Windows Vista" in the MS KB article:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/982116
These measures, to remove the UpperFilters and LowerFilters, values if they exist, in the registry key named can help.
Create a System Restore Point beforehand and restart the computer later.

Why aac audio does not work in PowerProducer Windows Vista 32-bit?
My friend has a Blu - Ray burner that is packed with PowerProducer 5. They have installed on their PC 32-bit of Windows Vista. Its HD files AAC audio camera mp4 video. The audio does not work in the environment creation of PP, or burned discs. I downloaded all the codecs. The audio works fine in WMP and QT, as well as in Windows Movie Maker. Installed the same software on my Windows 7 computer and audio works very well.
I have contacted Cyberlink, makers of PowerProducer, and they said that the limited packaged version of the software does not support the AAC. They suggested that upgrade to the full version for $50. Obviously, I'm not quite confident in this response.Someone has an idea of what might be past or have suggestions of what to try to fix the error?Hi ClintWatson,
Because the problem is specific to this particular application, I suggest you to contact CyberLink support for better support.
