High volume = video jerky on my P300-31i

Hope someone can advise.

I copied a few videos from Sony (Mini-DV) camcorder via the Firewire connection on my machine.

Image and sound quality... usually brilliant!

However some scenes include high volume music (in a case from a choir in a church and the other a 'disco' with a load of children dancing). In both cases, I noticed that the volume has increased the video began to become jerky and freeze periodically. At first I thought that the problem was with the files but I found if I turned off the volume on my computer has become smooth image with no stutters at all (by chance). Then I found that I could increase the volume up to 30-40% and the image was reasonably smooth with only the odd momentary gel.

In conclusion, nothing wrong with the files (avoid in any case), but something wrong with my computer (or at least it has a severe limitation) that I can't play those avi files at full volume.

I'm not a fan of computer, so all I could think to do was watch CPU useage while the video I did played by using the Task Manager - while the video was in use between 9 and 12% CPU.

Grateful for any help that I can enjoy the full glory of these videos on my machine, especially choral bits.

  • HTML5 triggers ALSA incredibly high volume video

On the latest nightly of Firefox when viewing YouTube videos, or any other site that offers html5 video, my sound is automatically triggered, about 50%, or 100%. This happens with both h.264 and VP8. I tried in safe mode and with a new profile, does not. I have alsa and pulseaudio, but if I open a YouTube tab and watch alsamixer, he will jump from there where I got 100% as soon as the video starts to play.

I tell myself that I will probably need to post a bug report, but I thought I'd try here everything first.

I put "dish-volumes = no" in my etc/pulse/daemon.conf. He's not big, but it solves the problem for now.

  • Bloggie transfers video jerky on computer

Someone had a problem like mine. Just bought this bloggie touch and had gone out to use it, but when I transferred the video on my computer, the image is grainy and choppy. If anyone has had this problem and how they solve it. Thanks in advance

Video all transfers regardless of how they are registered (ie., 720 p 30 or 60 frames per second) or 1080 p are jerky when played on nero, divx, quicktime, realplayer, etc of the players. I've tested this on all my computers: desktop computers (3 mhz processor), laptops (2.7 mhz processor) a macbookpro (2.2 mhz) and a netbook (1.5 mhz). In other words, this issue is not unique to a single computer. Video is optimal when read on the bloggie or via the hdmi to a set of HD connection. If there is no simple explanation for this, then it's a MAJOR FAILURE of the Bloggie. I suspect it has to do with the codecs used by the encoding of MP4 device. Sony has deduced that they use a standard encoding. Any comments? I was very pleased with this product based on the early reviews, but the first Genesis product is generally a bad idea :-)

  • Qosmio G20: CPU too high with video usage

    Hello

I've got G20 (2.13 Ghz processor) and nVidia 128 MB GeForce Go 6600 and I noticed that when you run video that my CPU utilization goes up high enough. View tv goes up to about 80%, video in media player substantially the same, but the video clips on Web sites and sites with video banner Web can get up to 100%.

I don't know if this normal that I had not really noticed before, but lately, with this hot weather, I found that on the days hottest occasionally my system stopped, probably because the fan may not follow.

My question is if these ages CPU usage % are normal for this system, or I have some setting wrong that puts the load on the processor and not the graphics card. Can someone tell me if I can check how the video processing is done by the graphics card or how I can assure that this is the work and only in passing on overloading the CPU.

    Thank you very much.

PS I am running the latest drivers video for this machine, obtained from the Toshiba draft.exe page.

    Hi William

I had a lot of experiences with Qosmio G20 and activity of the CPU under pressure. With the use of the highest processor unit was never overheated just a little harder because of cooling fan.

As you know Qosmio G20 is powerful multimedia and video unit problem described in your message is really strange. If you wrote that you don't l l notice that before, I assume your personal configuration is responsible for this. On this path, it is not easy to say why this is happening. Try to check the processes running and at the end all of them you don't need. On this way the CPU use should be much lower.

There is a setting you may have missed.  On the "rocket", go to settings / system settings / Volume and make sure it is set on high.  This is the setting that the EU region is not available.

  • CARD FIREWIRE FOR HIGH DEFINITION VIDEO TRANSFER FROM CAMCORDER TO PC

I'm trying to transfer high definition 1080i video from my Sony camcorder to my desktop HP [HP Pavilion Elite e9160f desktop PC]. I need to know the appropriate method on the transfer. I have been informed that I need to have an internal firewire card installed in order for me to transfer video HD on my PC. Can you get it someone please let me know if this is correct and if yes is my PC/motherboard able to manipulate the internal firewire card and also the type of firewire card I need i.e. PCI/PCI Express, minimum or maximum speed I need to transfer video high definition without framing or gel, for example if it is to be a minimum of 400 MB/s. And tips and suggestions are appreciated.

Windows 7 probably has the drivers for the card.  The latest firewire cards are included with the built-in drivers in Windows 7

  • Share a movie in high definition video Flash

    Hello:

I use Premiere Elements 4.0, and I would like to create a Flash video in 720 p from a 720 p input file.

Use the presets, I can create a MPG 720 p without problem, but there seems not to be greater than 640 X 480 setting of Flash Video.  Is there a way to create a FLV to HD format so that it will be displayed as HD on You Tube?

    Thank you

    Rich Locus

The best solution we found is the video as a MP4 high-definition output and YouTube re - encoding in FLV format, by the frequently asked questions to the right of this forum.

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/623549?TSTART=0

You're not going to get any higher quality ranging from FLV to FLV, because the program still him convert to its workflow in any case format (AVI or MPEG and HDV) while working with her. Additionally, the biggest quality problems appear when YouTube starts to screw with it, that there is no way around.

Give him a H.264 file, and you will get the best possible results.

  • What should I do to get the video jerky unless I have disable add-ons?

Most of the videos I watch online is choppy, as the video goes back moving forward always forward. There are Facebook and YouTube. The sound is fine. It started about 6 months ago. I recently noticed that IE doesn't have this problem, so I think that it is something within Firefox. I tried to restart with disabled modules and it worked! Now, I need to know which add-on I need to permanently disable. I am running Windows 7 and Firefox 41.0.1. I also tried updating my Flash drive, but even after an update he always told me that he had to be updated. I did 3 times before giving up.

Hello, drtoner, see the Test for faulty extensions to find what the problem is.

BUT please first, turn off hardware acceleration to check if the problem is not an add-on and hardware acceleration.

    Thank you

  • Tecra 8100: Can't get high resolution - video controller driver?

    Hello

    Anyone can answer the question?

I have a 8100 Tecra which was under Windows 98. I upgraded to Win2000P but I can't get the right amount of colors or greater than 600 x 800 resolution. Also, I can't load the former driver of BT's broadband services.

In Device Manager, it is required for the video controller (VGA Compatible). I searched the site of Toshiba for a suitable download and can't find something like this.

Does anyone know if the solution to this problem exists on this Web site or if Toshiba can send me a disc with the necessary info.

Another idea of the problem is that it may need a mother board driver, if what can be downloaded?

Sorry if it's vague but I am writing this on behalf of my stepfather, so it is second hand information.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

    Hey Buddy

Looks like you a little confused re.
I think I can help you

So to me it looks like a missing display driver. What do you think?
Did you install the display driver for W2k?

On the European Toshiba driver page I found a drivers needed for W2k and the display driver is also available.
There are 2 display drivers, so check everything first to support it.

You mentioned the driver BT broadband. Did you mean Bluetooth?
To my knowledge this device does not have Bluetooth support.
