• Laptop speakers seem to be stifled on larger volumes, but not on small volumes

  OK so bare with me here, I'm not a grumpy so please don't give me any input I will not understand. Laughing out loud. So recently, I noticed that during certain programs or the music I play, the volume on the laptop is muffled if the volume is greater than 60%. If I turn down, I don't seem to hear it, but I can't be 100% sure. I tried to adjust some settings under the part of the properties of the volume settings I found online, but I don't seem to have some of the tabs people have suggested using. My headphones work fine, works volume very well if it's low, but I can't use volume greater than 60% without him appearing dull and difficult to understand. If there is no importance, I have also updated Windows 10 a few months ago. My computer came with Windows 7 originally. It's a SONY VAIO E Series. I was wondering if it is just a blown speaker or something more specific like an update or a setting that I missed? In addition, no one knows how much it would cost to replace the pregnant if I take it to Best Buy? Not sure if I still have a warranty or not.

• Early 2011 MacBook speakers appear quieter this usual, easy fix?

  I have a MacBook 2011 beginning El Capitan (version 10.11.2) running. The speakers on my mac have been quiet for awhile, but sometimes they seem to generate in life and give me the original strong output, what they did when I came to the computer.

  As they can occasionally give me the power output I don't think it's an ongoing problem, but I'm at a loss on how to solve this problem, maybe some needs bit cleaning but its really difficult to get access to the speakers.

  This problem affects the sound regardless of the application, I use for example iTunes or iPlayer and I tried to play in the system preferences and check that the volume is full enough, but the max volume seems to come and go, as it's easier to listen to the TV shows frequently with headphones to make sure that I can hear them properly.

  The headphone output seems not affected by this problem and I run Apple Hardware test and it came not with all the problems.

  Quick solutions or I need to see the guys at the genius bar or is it irreparable?

  The sounds from my computer is very distorted. The best way I can describe it is "mechanical screeching." It only happens with some sounds much like the sounds of windows (for example, starting and changing it its volume) and video playback. I tried to play a MP3 and it worked perfectly.

  I tried to reinstall the audio drivers for the A80, but this did not help. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

  NOTE: I don't really know which model I have, on the bottom of the laptop is that he says he's an A80, but on the box it says A60. Is it possible to know with certainty?

  First details on the name of the laptop you will find on the label that was placed at the bottom of the unit. As you say the bottom of the unit he says that it s an A80 so I guess that it s really an Equium A80.

  You have a SoundMax Control Panel pre-installed on the unit? If yes then you should check the power mode.
  Mode 'Power' for the sound card must be on 'No Power Savings'.
  Start-> Control Panel-> Sound Max-> power management.
  Change the Mode 'Power' of 'Economies of normal energy' (default) or 'High energy savings' to 'No Power Savings'.

  When one looks at the Activity Monitor there are moments where kernel_task or quicklookd are 99% of the CPU.

  The fan is going crazy for these periods...

  My macbook is running abnormally slow today and there are times when the rainbow reel comes after each letter or Word as I type. Applications take much too long to open and Safari is taking forever just to load the next page.

  I know that it's on the typical lifecycle of this laptop... and I was looking for what I think would be a good replacement.   There is a setting you may have missed.  On the "rocket", go to settings / system settings / Volume and make sure it is set on high.  This is the setting that the EU region is not available.

  1. right click the icon of speaker near right lower clock - peripheral of reading

  2. check the configuration - Device Manager - sound, video and game controller

  Note name and complete model of the audio device - full decription - now double click it.

  behind the pilots of certification). Then right CLICK on the device - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it will refresh
  the driver stack.

  Now go to system Maker and look for the updated drivers (or get the same if no new) it will be
  your rescue. Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-RIGHT click in it - RUN AS ADMIN

  Then do the same for the manufacturer of the device (like Realtek or who made the device).

  NOTE: Often restore audio drivers to check the version after installing and restarting is
  see if the version you have installed is there, otherwise repeat the installation - restart until it is. This may take
  several tests according to the recommitments how much he makes.

• Need help! MacBook Pro hangs, not bootable, no volume recovery

  Hi guys!

  I need some help here. My MB Pro (13",mid 2012, OS X Yosemite, 500GB SSD) crashed all of a sudden. I was not doing anything at the moment and it got a blackscreen. When I tried to reboot it, it says "A disc read error has occured. Please press ctrl+alt+del to restart". I looked that up in the internet and it can only be a command in Windows. (Yes, I have installed a Windowas partition with BC, size about 65GB) Then I tried to bring the mac into recovery mode pressing CMD+ALT+R. The spinning globe popped up and downloaded the latest "recovery files". (like this post About OS X Recovery - Apple Support) I already tried using the disk utility to repair the partition but I couldn't klick the "repair volume" buttons. Next I tried to reinstall OS X but the problem was that there was no Volume to choose for installation.
  So what the heck happened here? lol
  I would be very pleased if someone could help me solve this problem, I don't want to loose all my files (there are some important university files on it)

  It sounds like a drive problem has occurred, as the alert system said. When a read error occurs, it is possible that the Mac partition was damaged and that your system cannot find a Mac system to start. That's why the world of spinning appeared.

  All I can suggest is to completely erase the disk, re-partition, then re-install OS X and Windows. Of course, if the disc is damaged you may need to replace everything first. You have a good backup?

• HTML5 triggers ALSA incredibly high volume video

  On the latest nightly of Firefox when viewing YouTube videos, or any other site that offers html5 video, my sound is automatically triggered, about 50%, or 100%. This happens with both h.264 and VP8. I tried in safe mode and with a new profile, does not. I have alsa and pulseaudio, but if I open a YouTube tab and watch alsamixer, he will jump from there where I got 100% as soon as the video starts to play.
