History of clear ranking with only refers to the cluster

I have a group of UI elements that I save them as a strict type def be reused between various programs. I can send data in each of these elements. However, I use graphic waveform instead of waveform graphs so that I can stack data. In my application, the user can select data at different points in time so I need clear history graphic waveform and then update the graph with the necessary values. It works fine if I make a direct reference from the graph but I can't operate using just the reference to the cluster. I get either a mismatch of type if I use a strict reference, or I don't see the historic property at all if an appending reference is used. I've seen people putting this problem before but had not seen the right solutions that work with just the reference of the cluster. Any thoughts?

In the comic book, do a right-click on the reference to the "table of waveform" and select Create-> constant.  Strictly typed constant wire at the entrance of "class of target" of "more class specific.

I'm not really sure what you're talking about. There is no option, expdp and impdp x % of the data, is that? And if Oracle can sovle repositories inetegrity (PK, FK), it cannot be assumed which tables are lookup table (to be entirely exported) and can not assume the logical data integrity.

  • Clear recent history + cookies clears all cookies, including those on the list of exceptions - bug or feature?

I have several sites on the list of the persons authorized to keep the cookies always (options, privacy, cookies, exceptions). When I use "clear recent history" and check the cookies, the cookies are deleted, including those on the allowed list. Maybe it's a feature rather than a bug, but I much prefer it if cookies excepted were excluded.

This is how it works. Using clear recent history clears all specified cookies and does not exclude cookies that have an exception permit. If you want to keep a few cookies then you should avoid using CRH to clear the cookies and delete unwanted cookies in the Cookie Manager or they expire when you close Firefox. In this way you keep the cookies with an exception permit.

  • Indexes on columns with only "Y" and "n".

Our transaction table has about 100 mn lines. Of these latter on 60 minutes the lines are not actively used.

We have composite index on multiple columns, including dates, and these are used to regular queries.

Will be adding a status = 'y' or ' don't column and the creation of an index on this column is useful to increase the performance of the query?

For example, will add a condition like

    OÙ......... AND ACTIVE_FLAG = 'Y '.

help increase the performance of queries?

Creating such a column and adding a help index?
What type of clue do you recommend?

The alternative advocated by some members of the staff is the archiving of INACTIVE lines in a separate table. This will have a big impact on business processes. But we might be able to pull it off.

    Is there another solution.

I am a beginner full performance although I am familiar with PL/SQL and queries.
I'm on the constraints of very tight timetable for the first level of back. I'll have more time as soon as I know the direction in which to go.

Forgive me if I broke a tag forum. I'm new on the forum too.

Thanks for providing this information. This gives a much clearer picture of what you are facing.

I will try to give you my answer your questions afterwards.

You have indicated your data volumes have steadily increased and performance made that decline.
Even if you do not say (I forgot to ask) but it may be that the number of users increases as and.
so typical, many users use the system of the time.

For me it's indicative of a systemic problem. In other words, the problem is not due to a
a thing or a part of the system.

There are two main components of a server: the instance and the database. This link sums up the difference
between the two - http://www.adp-gmbh.ch/ora/misc/database_vs_instance.html and here is a link to recent forum
for reference Re: difference between Oracle Instance and Database.

To paraphrase, an instance includes background processes and structures of memory (SGA, PGA, etc.)
    Oracle uses.

The symptoms you describe could mean that your instance is more configured size not set correctly
for your current workload are originally strain throughout the system. Maybe the memory is too limited.
Maybe your sorts are growing with addional data.

I suggest that you start the new thread to ask for help in the evaluation and optimization of your instance. Use this
    as a starting point:
    >
Question/title - how to evaluate the State of health / instance and tune

Our facility has a problem of increasing return.

How can we collect and provide assessment of workload and configuration information, so you can help determine
possible solutions such as: memory sizing, temp and segment again sizing, sort the issue.

    Statement of the problem
    1 oracle Version is? ?. ?. ?

    2. gradually return was degrading with more and more data. The UI response suffers and
batch processing is also in hours. We expect volumes to only continue to grow.

    3. the volumes have continued to increase over the years and gradually performance issues
accumulate over the past 2 years. Data volumes began to increase faster
last year 1 due to changes in the company.

    4. the data in OLTP system is a combination of assets of 40% and 60% relatively inactive (financial history).

    5. a complete system near-live replecation on several sites. In my opinion, using streams.

    6. notice of the tech team is a few tables have too many lines. We know that our demands can be suboptimal.

    Now to your question:
    >
    1. I do not know the index on the existing columns are not fully exploited. In the meantime can but, we still get some benefits from adding
a 'Y' and the null column? What will be improved?
    >

It is unlikely the benefits you need. It's putting the cart before the horse. The first step is to identify a specific problem.
Only then can examine you and evaluate solutions. for example by adding a new column or index.

There are several reasons, this isn't the right solution; certainly not at the moment
    A. any new column and index, BY DEFINITION, maybe even this does not use except if one or more current
queries are changed. This is obvious since no existing query could possibly refer to a column that does not exist.

    (B) to try to obtain the Oracle to use the new index column / single lease request must be changed.

    C. in my opinion, you should never modify a query of production without knowing which allows to obtain the amendment
a well-defined objective. You must evaluate the current execution plan to identify what changes, IF ANY,
    can improve performance.

    D. it can be and given your systemic problem is likely to be, some ripe fruit on the performance. That
is that there may be ways to tune the query to use existing indexes or add a new index on an existing column
    improve things.

    E. assuming that none of the above does the work adding a new column and an index to identify
a 40/60 split (40% of assets) is unlikely to be used by Oracle (see response of Centinui).

    >
    2. notes that this calculation 'Y' is not negligible. I can easily reproduce this with a WHERE condition on the existing columns. We can have
to run a batch on the weekend to check row groups and mark them as 'Y '. So it is not only the advantage of indexing on 'Y', but also some benefits of prior calculation.
Given this info doing now more logic to have a 'Y' and the null column?
    >
My answer is no – there is no sense to have a Y/N Y/NULL column.

    A. certainly not for reasons of performance - as noted above above it is unlikely help

    Certainly not for commercial reasons.
The calculation of your "non-trivial" is to demonstrate a business rule: identify groups of lines that have earned.
If you perform this calculation, the result must be saved significantly. One way is to create a new
column called 'DATE_NETTED_OUT '. This column name have meanings, and can be used as a boolean DATE/NULL type. This
It would be much better that Y/NULL which is not really enter the business sense of the value.

    >
3 partitioning speed up queries on the minutes 40 active and slow queries on the full 100 minutes?
    >
Probably not to have one influence on the other. Allocation decisions are usually made to ensure easier data management and often
have little, if any, a performance impact. All existing applications are unlikely to accomplish the any
differently just because the table is partitioned. There are exceptions of course. If you partition on DATE
and an existing query has a DATE filter, but there is no index on the DATE column, it will do a full table scan
of the whole picture. If the table is partitioned on this DATE column that oracle would probably make a partition full
Scan just the 40% or 60% of the table according to the value DATE. It would be so much faster.

But if there is already an index on the column DATE I do not expect the performance to change much. It comes
just speculation since it is based on data, the factor of grouping the data, and the existing queries.

    >
    1. I still need to a particular column of partion, I do not?
    >
Yes, you do. Unless you use HASH Partitioning that don't really benefit your use case. You too
says that "...". staff advocate is the archiving of INACTIVE lines in a separate table "."
Partitioning can be used as part of this strategy. Partition by MONTH or by QUARTER on your
new column "DATE_NETTED_OUT." Keep 1 or 2 years of data online as you do now and when a partition
becomes more than 2 years you can 'transport' it to your archiving system. This is part of the partition
management, which I mentioned earlier. You can simply disconnect the oldest partition and copy it to archive.
This will not affect your applications other than the data not being is not available.

    >
    2. "adds a column' or ' cut-and - paste lines of table created by copy" the worst idea?

I don't know what that means.

    SUMMARY

It is premature to consider alternatives until you know what the problems are. Only then you can try to
    determine the applicable solutions.

I do it in this order:

    1. upgrading to a newer version of Oracle you are on an older (you said 9i which is not
    longer supported)

2 assess the health and configuration of your instance. You may be able to significantly improve things
by adjusting the parameters of configuration and instance. Post a new question, as previously mentioned. I don't
have the expertise to advise you in details on that and the gurus tuning of the Forum the Forum can
not to notice this thread (indexes on columns with only 'Y' and 'n') than even know you need help.

    3. identify the ripe fruits for performance problems. Is this one of your batch process? An individual
request? You mentioned UI soon - that could be a problem of front end, middle tier or application
    not a database one.

    4. don't it make changes architecture (add columns) until you have tried everything first.

My iPhone freeze with grey screen, then restart only. Subsequently the Wifi is not available, I have to finish manually restart to be able to use the Wifi. I have restart my internet and network settings, but the problem is still there.

    Hi there Turco911,

Looks like your screen goes gray and then shuts down its own, and you must manually restart to get the wifi to work again. I save your device in iTunes, then restore it like new and verify that it works.

How to clear your iOS device and then set up as a new device or restore from backups

If this is the case, restore your backup either check it still works and just reinstalled software or circumvent the problem in the backup file itself.

If when restored like new the problem persists, I would ask for your phone service:

  • How to clone a Dual Boot XP Installation with only files Bootloader on C:\

For me one of the hardest things to do with a problem in a discussion text is to indicate clearly what disk and partition that I want to talk.  For those who need a refresher in the nomenclature of charger for the startup of Microsoft, it's here.  Others may wish to move on to the next paragraph.  The specification of a given partition is of the form multi (a) disk (b) rdisk (c) partition (d).  But for any ordinary computer, a = b = 0, so we cannot forget for the discussion thereon.  The c value is the number of the disk in the boot order, with the boot drive with c = 0.  The value d is the partition number with the first partition on the disk with d = 1.

In the interests of my presentation that follows, I will refer to rdisk (0) partition (1) as r0p1, rdisk (1) partition (3) like r1p3, etc to save space and we hope to maintain a clarity of thought.

My intention was to clone successfully my dual boot Windows XP Edition family, and Windows XP Pro installation from a larger drive to a smaller drive.  Unfortunately, technical cloning of hard disk Partition Wizard Home failed due to the fact that there is more data on disk more capacity that fits on the smaller disk.  To be precise, there are a score of additional data on the largest drive F:\ r0p4.  So I used Partition Wizard Home to the clone C:\ r0p1 (the system partition that has the XP bootloader files), D:\ r0p2 (Windows XP Pro) and r0p3 E:\ (Windows XP Home) one at a time.  Because I'm using a disk controller hard PATA TX2 promise with the bios settings fixed, the only way to change the order in which the bios starts the disks is to change disks data wiring. I made that as simple as possible by using the two captains of PATA.  Note that the partitions that I cloned were G:\ r1p1 H:\ r1p2 and I:\ r1p3.

To help the reader understand the placement of hard drive partition, repeat myself below.
C:\ r0p1 Windows Bootloader files only (System, active) Bootloader of Windows r1p1 only file G:\
Windows XP Pro H:\ r1p2 r0p2 D:\ Clone Windows XP Pro
R0p3 Windows XP Home Edition (Boot) I:\ r1p3 E:\ Clone Windows XP Home
    R0p4 F:\ data partition

After cloning, I made the following changes to starting XP r0p1 and r1p1 Chargers.  I added the ability to each Boot.ini file to start, r0p2, r0p3, r1p2 or r1p3 to eliminate the duty the wiring to study how the work was going.  I have created a boot loader diskette bootable with the same exact boot loader files in it, too.

I discovered the original disc start, I could successfully start all four of XP with the r0p1 bootloader or the floppy boot loader.  But when I switched the order of disc, only the floppy drive would start in all four of XP.  The bootstrapper on r0p1 never appeared.

I take this to mean that a redirect command where Windows is to search the bootstrapper may be necessary.  I boot from my Windows XP SP3 slipstreamed boot drive and access the repair console.  First I ran bootcfg/list and to my surprise, there is no entry found.  I took this to mean that windows searches for the bootloader files in the right place.  Is it possible to redirect windows to their position?  Think I remember reading something on the redirection of the search for the bootstrapper files.  I also thought about the command that rewrites the MBR, but got a warning that my MBR was specially built and serious consequences could occur, so I'll stop before making a misinformed choice.

While I'm hoping for a generous person offers help, I got back to the top of all partitions on both disks using Acronis True Image.  Then if worst comes to worst, I can experiment with the controls of recovery without fear of losing all my work so far.

    Best regards
    Max

I finally discovered that the two related errors that I made which prevented me from being able to start the operating systems Windows XP cloned using the files of Bootstrapper on the cloned C:\ partition.  Unfortunately, I had never taken the time to check the veracity of 'files bootloader being on the C:\ partition cloned'.  In fact the original C:\ partition was a primary partition, then the so-called C:\ partition "cloned" was a logical partition.  This fact makes no difference for the boot loader diskette XP that I had built, because he provided the bootloader files in a separate environment to that of the two hard drives.  But because the partition of the C:\ drive "cloned" was logical and not primary, there's no way I could do the C:\ partition "cloned" active, because only a primary partition can be active.  And the manufacturing process an active primary partition is crucial, precisely because it tells the computer where the Windows XP bootloader files.

In my case after that I discovered that the C:\ "cloned" was logical, I used Partiton Wizard to convert it to a primary school.  But even in this case, Windows XP could not find the XP boot loader.  It was only when I started Wizard Partition a disk using and marked the partition C:\ cloned as assets that the bootloader has finally appeared.

Even in this case I was not completely out of the Woods.  Because I had left the original source of the operating systems that are copied to the computer while the problem of bootloader, Windows had kept the previous drive letter assignments after that hard drives starting positions were exchanged.  So when I started out in what should have been Windows Home on E:\ drive, I discovered that Windows had kept the previous letter of partitions I:\.  And the drive system has even changed the C:\ drive to drive G:\.

Less than a year, I would have thrown to the top of my hands which happened and began on with the cloning operation.  But because I googled for Windows XP system or start letter has changed, I discovered that what I had to do was to go into the registry and swap disks back E:\ and I:\ value names, and do the same for the discs back, C:\ and G:\.  And when I got to Windows XP Pro, I also had to swap the disks back D:\ and H:\ value names.  The only drive on that I had not to swap names was my original data F:\ disc.

Finally, I believe that it is time for me to say why I went to all this trouble because I leave the two disks on the computer.  2 years 1 TB WDC Green Player is coupled to the drive controller Promise TX2 PATA is to use a SATA converter IDE, during the five year drive natively 300 GB Maxtor PATA.  Using the free software software Disk Bench with the windows pagefile disabled, I repeatedly timed 480 MB creating files on both hard drives on all the different partitions and there seems to be an advantage of the maximum speed of 10 Mbps on the old Maxtor PATA drive converted SATA drive.  But the speed of creation for the two ranges of 20 MB/sec to 65 MB/s using the PATA drive, while the beaches of SATA drive about 20 MB/sec-55 MB/sec.  It would be nice to point out, however, that the WDC Green drive is environmentally friendly, but not a 7200 RPM drive.  I plan to study if measurements with Disk Bench with the exchanged boot disks and the disabled swap file will make a difference in the time it takes to create the file.

  • Set up after effects CS 6 for rendering in a network with only one license.

I searched on and off a few days to find specific installation instructions for submitting projects for the network rendering but all I can find refers to installation somehow AE on several machines in non-licence mode and, essentially, to present a 'batch' type work to be distributed, sync'd and collected. OK, I get this. But I can't find anything on the details of the installation on several machines.

So if I understand things at this point, the question is really how to install several copies of the AE6 to systems with only a single license? I have a license key single with a 6 Suite Premium CS and wait that I would not be able to cross activation after installation or have afraid to try for fear that Adobe thinks I'm trying to dodge the licenses.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    > afraid to try for fear that Adobe thinks I'm trying to dodge the licenses

Do not be afraid. Do it. There is no risk in trying to install the software on as many machines as you want. Even in cases where you have only a license to use our software on two machines, the worst thing that happens is said you to disable on a computer before turning on another.

My Macbook Pro Late 2011 very hot especially on the left side. Temperature exceeds the 60 degrees celsius, with only the navigation. Is this a normal behavior? Fans operate at a SPEED of 2000 more or less. I would like the experts to guide...

From what you say, it seems that your MacBook fans work as usual (and unfortunately), and 60ºC is a good temperature for a MacBook Pro, so I don't think that there is nothing wrong with your Mac. Note that the temperature may also depend on what websites visit you and complete what they use. for example, Java and Flash Player increases CPU utilization and the battery, and this, temperature.

In addition, note that your MacBook Pro is made of aluminum, and it can quickly become hot even if you don't do any heavy task. This does not mean that there is nothing wrong with it
