  Hello

  It is actually quite easy.
  We knew that Oracle was looking for logsequence 1107. There is no archived log, it was deleted, or it has never generated. As you delete files, the 1st solution would be possible, BUT as there was only an instance crash so more old archived logs is not required for crash recovery. There is a need during the restoration of the old backup files, which is not our case.

  Thus, the missing log sequence has not been archived = > it is a redo log.
  To identify the required online redo log, we just to log query v$ as I suggest.

  Once the log identified file, we can recover it by specifying the redo log when you ask logsequence 1107.

  And it is on. We win! :)

  Hi, a useful recommendation is to make all of these invisible files, for that you will need to use the Terminal.

  Here are the instructions:

  Launch Terminal from/applications/utilities/and use the following command syntax:

  chflags nohidden /path/to/hide/file.txt

  If you know the path to the file just type yourself. If you do not, follow it drag & drop methodto automatically enter the full path in the Terminal, just be sure to file in after the original order and then press the return key:

  chflags hidden [DRAG FILE HERE]

  This will hide your folders or files.

  To view these files do:

  At any time you can view the file with the following chflags command:

  chflags nohidden /path/to/hide/file.txt

  I'm relatively new to 11g and the use of ADR. I realize of diagnosis of ADR, traces, newspapers, etc. are written in
  directories as specified in the diagnostic_dest parameter. In our case,.
  Under apps/oracle/diag/rdbms/rac1/rac13 where rac1 is our DNAME and
  rac13 is one of the names of the instance. I am also aware that tracking files are
  written under this path under the /trace and/incident/incdir_xxxxx
  directories.
  
  No HW or SW patches have been made recently.
  
  We know the problem of the our client application SW related boxes having
  their directory/root filled. As a result, all applications on these
  boxes of 'freeze '. Maybe it's something new for me, but I thought that the type of ADR
  diagnosis was only written to / exist ON DB SERVERS. We are witnessing to the
  the same type of files on CUSTOMERS - but in different directories. On the
  customer, for example, I see the following directories and the associated trace files
  by:
  1.) / root/oradiag_root/diag/clients/user_root/host_1204843186_11/incident/incdir_ *.
  and
  
  2.)/root/oradiag_root/diag/clients/user_root/host_1204843186_11/trace/ora__*.TRC & .trm
  
  ALL of these files and directories are user ny ROOT property. 4-5 of these files are created EVERY MINUTE in the track and incident
  directories, filling to the top/root. As a result, boxes of teas client application
  are suspended until the trace files are deleted.

  1. What are these files?
  2.) why they are on the clients?
  (3.) if they are part of the ADR process g 11, can (and how) if we limit the frequency of their creation?
  I just need to put in place the crons to clean periodically?

  It makes sense on the server when it is a dev, test or pre-production environment. But on the production, I recommend you turn it on when you have a problem with the server or the client.

• A project that I created is no longer works.  All video clips .mpg who ask to be reimported, and when I try to import from its original folder, all the files are slim.

  I currently have iMovie 10.1.2 and OS 10.11.6.  All except a video clip in a compilation of long hours are black with an exclamation mark.  They have the error statement, that the file is missing, re-import the original source media.  The clips are all .mpg and had imported fine when I created the film project of the month of May.  When I try to use the function "Import Media" drop, and I go in the folder on the desktop files located in, all the original .mpg files are low.  The two pictures that were in the project appear on the lower part.  Oh, and I did all that stored on the cloud.  I also wanted to start a new project, part II, but all the source files show a similar dim for all .mpg files.  Apple decided not to allow the .mpg files in iMovie?  If so, what is my next step?

  iMovie accepts more mpg files. The easiest way to work with them is in the finder do a right-click on the mpg file and select "encode the selected video files. In the dialog box that appears, choose the desired conversion. The converted file appears in the import iMovie window, and you can import it.
