• Elitepad 900 now will not even turn on.

  Hello.  I posted a two-part question, a week or two back.  No responses.

  Now the Tablet does not even start.  Zip fastening.  Black.  No response.

  Is it possible to use the thing connector to connect to my laptop and "read" in this way?  Using the power of the laptop, what is?

  Subject of your question to connect the Elitepad directly to another PC via the USB port.

  Given the Tablet is a complete windows PC, you do not connect directly to another PC via the USB port.

  Androids and iphones from Apple, etc. etc. are different from a windows PC. Even if you used a usb OTG cable.

  Windows PC can be connected via a crossover cable, but it is very specific and requires a port ethernet on both machines.

  You can connect via a network, such as the connection via a group of home via a wireless connection.

  Even better, you can back up your files on a service like Dropbox cloud, Onedrive or Google and then upload them to another machine. If both computers use Windows 8.1, you can use HP Connect to backup and transfer files.

  If you have a micro usb usb adapter, you can use a USB for file transfer with.

  Looking for help for my G1 of 900 Elitepad

  (Product: D4T15AA #ABU)

  A was carried out with Windows 8 & has been upgraded to 8.1 Windows

  I got this tablet on eBay 3 or 4 months ago & it works fine with any error fault.

  Monday, I use the table inside docking station for about an hour & sometimes UN-dock around the House.

  Then re-dock & via the power of the screen down. When I go home at night & try to power up the tablet. But it will not turn on

  I try holding down the volume button to the bottom and press the power button on the top. In the station host & with the Tablet removed. But the table will not display a sign of power.

  But I pointed out that, after trying the button volume & power for awhile & returning the Tablet, return to the docking station. The power led on the docking station turn to Orange. If it doesn't look like the battery recharge

  Dose someone know a way for fix this anomaly? Or we are back to an HP repair facility?

• Cannot restart or refresh my iPhone 7 from the "home" button and the sleep/wake button at the same time

  I'm having difficulty trying to restart and update my iPhone 7 using the Home button and the sleep/wake button at the same time, when I do my phone takes a screenshot of the home screen.

  Basically my home button button and / standby works not together at the same time.

  My 5 Iphone Home button does not work after update final IOS version of 10.

  The home button works on the first push to wake the phone but it will not open the phone the second button.

  I activated the assist button, which does not work either. But what I discover is if I open device for assistance then touch and lock screen click on the button home will work once to open the phone. If I open any app I can't close it unless I go through the same routine.

  Just install the new software.  When I try to use the phone, it says "press home to open".  When I press the home button it takes me to siri instead of the main screen.

  You hold the button too long. Just press on and release.

• iPhone 7 Home button freezes

• Since my 10.0.2 upgrade on my iPhone 5 my Wifi doesn't connect anywhere except home! This has never been a problem in the past I have connected everywhere wherever I was going to automatically! Is - this rare?

  Since my upgrade to 10.0.2 on my iPhone 5 my phone only connects to Wifi when I'm at home (cancelling the purpose of a MOBILE phone). This was never a problem in the past a my phone automatically and I received and could send emails, messages and use messenger etc automatically. Is - this rare?

  I see that your iPhone 5 is not connect to other Wi - Fi networks after update to iOS 10. We offer troubleshooting tips.

  Since your wireless network is working, but you cannot connect to other networks, start with the next step in If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi-Fi network:

  I recently got a new Signal of Hunter ceiling fan, which is one of the first active HomeKit fans. I went through the installer on my iPhone 7 more for the fan about 20 times. Each time, installation works and the fan is controllable for about 1-5 minutes each time. Then the two buttons for the fan and light are starting to appear 'No response' on them. By clicking on the buttons, surprise, has no effect on the fan or light.

  I have my Apple TV (4th generation) Setup as a hub. I also tried setting to the top of my iPad as a hub. Nor has helped get my fan work. However... today we were shopping, and I happened to pull up the control center. I noticed that Photonics and fan buttons is no longer says "No response" and typed a. After a few seconds, the fan button said it was now on. Then I tried the light. Same positive reaction. I played with them a few moments and everything seemed to work... except that I couldn't be sure, because, you know, I was not at home.

  So, when I got home, I tried again... back to 'No response' on the buttons. What the devil? So I then turned off the wifi on my phone and guess what? The "No Response" disappeared and the fan and light work.

  So there is something when my iphone is on my own wifi network, it cannot speak to the HomeKit accessories. That makes no sense at all. Why would it be? Is there something on my router I need to unlock it (even if I looked and did not find anything which is blocked).

  I contacted the support team for the fan again. But I'm starting to think it's something with the iPhone, not the fan. Oh, and HomeKit opening on the iPad does not work internally either.

  To review your post, you have configured your Signal Hunter ceiling fan in your HomeKit and use your AppleTV and iPad as hubs. Your iPhone 7 more on iOS 10.0.2 intermittently becomes a message 'no response' when you try to control your ceiling fan with it but it worked fine while you were away from home. It is apparently only at home and I'll be happy to help you to get this working properly.

  If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi-Fi network - I found that iOS devices and a home network can stop talking to each other. Follow the steps in this article to ensure that your home's Wi - Fi signal is strong and consistent.

  The first thing we want to make sure is that all your data is safe. You can perform a backup in iCloud or iTunes using this article: backing up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

  In iOS 10, you are able to remove the built-in Apps. If the cards of the app has been removed, the good news is we can re-download and reinstall using the App Store. This Help article explains the process: remove the apps Apple integrated from the home screen on your device iOS with iOS 10. Please see the section titled "Add an integrated application previously deleted" to add it again.

• Time Machine backup not my home library folder

  After having updated my system to El Capitan in Sierra, I decided to clean my external drive for Time Machine in order to launch a new series of backups TM Sierra.

  The problem is that Time Machine now stops back up when it arrives in the library folder in my home folder.

  He used to work flawlessly when I ran El Capitan.

  I then cancel the backup process which stopped at about half of employment (360 GB 201,85 Gb).

  I would like to launch utility disk-> first aid on the disk and partition just to be sure, it is not a file system inconsistency.

  If that doesn't fix it, I would check then the console logs (applications > utilities > console.app) to see if it is reporting the issue during the backup.

  If you still have no joy, I'd start to screw up files from your library folder (do not empty the trash so you can put back them) until I found what was causing the problem. Use menu bar to access the library in the Finder, and type in the library.

• Home sharing works not

  I have an iMac works MacOS Sierra over the latest version of iTunes. All my music is on my iMac. I have two computers running the latest version of iTunes. More MacOS Sierra sharing House worked fine before upgrading to the latest version of iTunes. Now when I select a song on one of my PC, I get a dialog box (open the URL and connection), but no music. Does anyone else have this problem?

  Yes, I have the same problem with my work is laptop is not able to connect to the iTunes library via sharing home on my iMac, I installed Sierra on this weekend. Was working fine before the update.

• Home sharing a fall of Apple TV 3 rd gen.

  I have two devices. A MacBook Air 13 inch (2013) and a new iMac 27 K 5 in. end 2015 (OS 10.11.6). The iTunes is the last 12.1.5.21 and once on the version previous home sharing would be cut at random on my Apple 3rd GEN MacBook Air TV is never a problem, just this iMac. Yesterday I fixed in signing off everything, leave iTunes, restarted my iMac, reboot of the Capsule of ancient times - not sure of the model, then by restarting Apple TV. He was working back. Then I just tried this and failed. Then, I am registered on the sharing House Apple TV and iTunes from iMac, restarted the router and voila it worked. Now while typing this it just cut off again. This is while watching videos streaming on Apple TV, the main reason I bought the thing.

  Now I try the same procedure to see if it will work. Why - what is falling all the time. I am registered on iTunes, but Apple TV says that I am not connected. This is getting very frustrating.

  Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. From what you have said, it seems that for Apple TV streaming home sharing is cutting.  Looks like you already have a troubleshooting. There are a few things that we can do that you mentioned not try again. I recommend you read these articles, since this seems consistent throughout a few Macs, maybe it's a problem with the AppleTV.
