Home wireless network connection problems
What should I do if I normally connect to the wireless network does not appear? It is not a network card problem, because I can connect to other wireless and school and other places. I tried to reset the router, ping and by unplugging and seeing what I could understand on the computer at home, but nothing does. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Hello
Have you tried other computers to connect to your router? You use both wire and wireless
connection?
Unplug the modem and Router 3 + minutes. And then reconnect the modem - when it is running
Plug in the router - when it is running - restart the computer. This is known as a hard reset.
Check with your router manufacturer support.

Wireless network connection problem
Nice day
I have a wireless network connection problem and I ask for help to resolve.
What surprises me that this problem appeared suddenly, I used to connect to the WIFI correctly but two days ago my laptop could not connect to the WIFI and more.Other devices and computers connect with success so I think that the problem in my laptop.
I don't have any changes on my laptop or windows, antivirus, drivers... updates or installed new software.
Troubleshooting of Windows detected 'router or access point issues '.
-Reset the router does not resolve the problem
-Network adapter is enabled.
-State of wireless card "working properly" and "update".I read a solution on this site, which was to change the properties of the wireless adapter, but the changes mentioned does not appear in the pilot of my laptop...
* My laptop info. :

Windows 7-64 bit
Dell WIreless 1703 802.11b/g/n(5.2GHz)Sorry for this long to make, I appreciated all the help.
Thanks in advance.Hello
Have you tried to reset your laptop to a time before this issue started with a Windows 7 Restore Point? If it is a parameter change or software this restore point can help solve what is at the origin of the problem.
I'd also, of course, when you are resetting the router, to make sure that you let it sit for at least 30 seconds to a minute before plugging power back in. You may need to do a few times to clear his memory to be able to connect.
In addition, have updated the drivers for the wireless card? What version of driver currently installed in the system? You can consult our support site, enter your serial number and click on drivers & Downloads to find the driver for your wireless card.
Finally, have you tried to empty the wireless profiles that are currently stored in your system? If you delete the profile current wireless (which is to control your connection to the router), reboot your system, and try to reconnect Windows will rebuild the profile and hopefully allow you to log in again.
I would like to know if any of this helps. To help resolve this more effectively please click on my user name Dell Todd and send me a private message with the Number of Dell Service from your system. Please keep all troubleshooting and discussions on this thread open so that others can find the information they need to solve their problems.

Wireless network connection problems
I have problems to stay connected to my wireless router. There are 3 laptops and 2 workstations connected, but my laptop does not seem to disconnect every time my computer sleeps or is closed. I have to go through this process to solve the problem in which the connection is immediately restored, but then disconnected and connected once again. I tried to remove the connection & restores and troubleshooting with the router, but nothing seems to solve the problem. Other computers never have this problem. My laptop is fairly new, and I'm quite puzzled as to why he's in trouble.

Hello
Maybe this can help.
Make sure that the software firewall on each computer allows free local traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall on, Vista/XP Firewall Native should be disabled, and the active firewall has adjusted to your network numbers IP on what is sometimes called the Zone of confidence (see part 3 firewall instructions
General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq#trusted
Please note that some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled). If possible, configure the firewall correctly or completely uninstall to allow a clean flow of local network traffic. If the 3rd party software is uninstalled, or disables, make sure Windows native firewall is active .

Home wireless network connections cut - a router issue?
I have 2 PC:
1 desktop running XP (SP3) on a H61DE/S3 Asrock mobo and Intel G620 2.6ghz CPU. RAM = 2 x 2 GB.2. laptop running Windows 7 + Intel i3 CPU3 wireless router D-Link DSL-2680 =The office is directly connected to the router via an ethernet cable wireless.I created a wireless network which consists of my office and cell phones with the help of a USB and the XP Wizard on my desk. I then clicked on "Network Setup Wizard" in the Control Panel on my desktop (XP) and created the network connections. When I boot-up the two machines, I can see and access the connections network of desktop and laptop.HOWEVER, if I let the machines for a while and then come back, although I can see the icon for "DESKTOP" in my network places on my laptop, when I click the icon, the cursor looks like this market, but then an error window appears stating that it cannot find the device and I want to diagnose the connection. When I click YES, sometimes, it detects the OFFICE and sometimes it doesn't.The same thing happens on the desktop when I click on the "PORTABLE computer" icon in "My Network places".The strange thing is, when I try to connect via Start Menu / run / \\'IP address on the laptop or desktop, I can connect usually either to the PC.The questions are1 can you explain why I should b affected by these connection question - is this a problem of compatibility between window7 and XP?2. what type of home network, maintained by the router or directly between the laptop and desktop computer without involving the router?Thank youI assume that the HOMEDESKTOP, in this case, XP is the master browser because it is physically connected to the router and it is this machine that I created the wireless network and local.N ° master of domain is chosen in an election. All devices have an equal chance of being elected little matter how they are connected. (A domain controller can always win, but that's neither here nor there). The problem here is that the Win 7 machine doesn't listen to the broadcasts and therefore think that it is the only device on the network and therefore chooses himself as master of go. The XP machine is involved in a normal election except that the Win 7 machine does not participate because he is not listening. They both choose and for a while, you have two masters to browse. The only listening to computer (XP) finally gets tired of hearing machine Win7 and abandoned as a master browser. Win 7 becomes the only browser then, but it does not work because he doesn't listen to any computer on the network. You can check this by bringing a window prompt (start-> Run-> "cmd") and enter the command:
nbtstat - a HOMEDESKTOP
or
nbtstat - a ROMANLAP1-PC
If the targen computer thinks that he is a master of travel, you will see a line "__MSBROWSE__".For some reason, keeping the folders "My Documents" opened on both machines maintained the connection for 15 hours that day.Anyway that you can keep the active connection, the machines will partner with the other. Once a connection is idling, then it must re-establish contact and is when the master browser or a response of diffusion is necessary and the Win 7 machine is unresponsive.
Try following all the steps in the article according to which apply to your configuration:
"Networking of computers running different Versions of Windows"
<>http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/networking-home-computers-running-different-versions-of-Windows >I don't think there is a firewall in itself, but the way Windows 7 manages 'Home' vs networks 'Public' that can do behave like a firewall and cause problems with firewall-like. Article states that ' the network location is a setting that allows Windows to automatically adjust security and other settings according to the type of network to which the computer is connected. " --they don't talk a firewall, but this is part of what makes a firewall...

Wireless network connection has an invalid IP configuration
Computer is Toshiba C855D. Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
Wireless adapter is Realtek RTL8188CE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC
I have been using the same public wireless for months. Now, I try to open it and I can't get full connection, only a limited connectivity. When troubleshooting, the program tells me that the "Wireless Network Connection" has an invalid IP configuration.
I'm the only computer in the whole of the network that has this problem. All other users around me have no problems connecting to the internet on the network.
Would appreciate any help.

I got a new laptop from work and have connected a couple of times on our network. Now, he does not connect through the wireless network connection. He said that the connections are available, but there is no connection available more in the list. If you have to manage wireless networks, it is in the list... but you can not log in via this page. Any help would be grateful.

Hello
1. what operating system you are using?
2. how many computers is connected to the network?
3 - is a domain network?
4. What is the exact error code or error message you received?
5 have have there been recent changes made on the computer before the show?
Follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.
Method 1: Troubleshooting run Network.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/using-the-network-troubleshooter-in-Windows-7
Method 2: Wi - Fi and in Windows network connection issues.
If you cannot connect to a network, it could be a problem with your network adapter. You can try to use the network adapter troubleshooting utility to automatically find and fix some common problems.
How can I troubleshoot network card?
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/how-do-I-fix-network-adapter-problems
Method 3: Disable the security software and check.
You can also temporarily disable the security software and check if the problem persists. Be sure to enable this security software on the computer after checking.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software
If disabling the security software solves the problem, then contact the manufacturer of the specific security software to fix the problem.
Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
