• Hotspot station stop working

  New computer - XPS-8700.  Windows 7 Pro, SP1.   No real problems with the machine.  However, I am having a new issue with Station of Hotspot.  Although HS sees my phone and iPod, and each of those who see my network, none of them connects to the network through HS.  The devices were fine until some time yesterday afternoon, and then for some reason any connection, they stopped to connect.  Both devices show all the information in the DHCP - IP, subnet, router etc. - except the customer ID, which is empty. The computer and its peripherals were restarted nothing doesn't.   Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you for your time.

  So as you suggest, the HS almost certainly means 'HotSpot Station'.   So this is obviously as I have had unwanted installation of the Hotspot and Atheros 'SmartNet' (asav.exe).  They are both located in the directory that is created during the installation of the driver.   Both are apparently somehow triggered to run on their own, at least for the first time.    After this surprise,   I've changed since the names of the executable files so that they will not work.

  You asked me to PM you to 'try something', but I'm not the one who has the problem of HotSpot. I was just to add that it is not only on the original image, but is also present in at least some wireless driver packages, I discovered to my surprise.   I now bow.  Thank you!

  Oh when you press the button start it lists software more recently opened, but does not mean that it is actually being run. So nothing to worry about I think.

  It is my understanding that HotSpot Station is only on the image of the plant and not available for download. Using the system restore with the original image, is the only way to get the HotSpot Station on the system.

  Hi, I have a simple question that I can't find an answer. I want to use my Airport only base like a time capsule, and not as a wifi hotspot. I'm in a wfi environment that does not have any router, my wifi just to join a wireless network in my office environment. Previously, I worked in an office where I ran a cable DHCP in my airport base station and then he joined with wifi. Now, I just want to use the airport as a backup.   Unfortunately, your proposal of "no" is correct.

  However, you could configure the airport Time Capsule (ATC) to create a wireless network (without Internet access) and save on the Time Capsule wireless.

  Of course, to do this, when you want to save, you need to log on to your 'normal' wireless network and connect wireless provided by ATC.  Once the backup is complete, then you'll need to sign the CTA wireless and log on to your normal wireless network.

  Hello

  What version of Windows you are running in this system?   That will help us to make suggestions on how to reset your wireless connections and find this access point.

  The first thing that came to mind is to try to restore your wireless driver and see if that helps you find the hot spot.  Assuming you're under Windows 8 here is a Microsoft link that will show you how to do the restore.

  If this does not help, you might want to try some of the suggestions in our Support Center Networking & Wireless from Dell to see if that helps you.

  Please give us a little more information about your system, what version or the operating system you are running, and what type of area reactive than you try to connect to and we'll see if there are other suggestions we offer to help you.

  I have an APEX application that has the image maps on several pages. The image plane is created dynamically by the admin application. Later in the process of the image map (created from HTML) stored in the rows of a table will be used by someone else at a later time. They will click on a hotspot/article in terms of the image, which will open a page in the application and pass the id of the image and the hotspot/section title. Then they can fill out information about the hotspot/section on what they clicked. I have all this works very well except for the session.
  
  The problem is that I filled in the href of the hotspot portion < area shape / > when the image is initially created. I store the first part of the URL in a table, in case it changes. The first part is http://server:8000/apex/f? p = 2031:10: & APP_SESSION.:NO:10: then I add this when the image plane is created - P10_HEADER_ID, P10_CELL_TITLE:v_header_id, v_cell_title so, when you move the pointer over one of the hotspots is an example of the URL passed - http://server:8000/apex/f? p = 2031:10: & APP_SESSION.:NO:10:P10_HEADER_ID, P10_CELL_TITLE:344, 20-10 the session is not met. Now that it's happened I think it is the right treatment of the APEX. To determine the session 'on the fly', it is not passed between the user clicking on the access and processing of the URL.   Yes, I have a procedure that builds the image maps. I have 2 types of image maps. One is a map of convention image with rectangles and polygons. The other card image has a grid on top of it with the columns, lines, value of medallion of beginning and end in medallion, which allows the administrator to build the grid exactly as they wish. It also has a function that allows the elimination of specific cells. It's all pretty smooth. And, once again, your answers through this process has helped me get to where I am with the application. The problem is that these interactive images will be used in the dozens, and sometimes hundreds of times more inspections are carried out on the Assembly line. There will be models of image map that will be used later on the actual inspections when the product is manufactured. The image of the cards will be different according to the production plant and the product, it is used on. A station can be for the inspection of the engines, another for finishing, etc. A series of picture cards for one product, others for the B - M products.

  Thus, image maps are created during the initial phase of the process. Then used later, over and over again, during the production process. Create map image pages are 4 & 8. The pages used during the inspection of the product is likely to be pages 10 & 12. And the creation of image map occurs at a point in time by the admin. Push necessary substitution strings in the context values using the APEX Session/DPV database security attribute.
