  I think the best thing to do is to copy the old catalog of the any file to the new computer and place it in its own nine empty folder.   After my Windows XP worked for a while, windows start to draw a parallel with no title bar.  What title bars are missing will increase from the time when I switch from one application to.  Title bar of the application itself will be there for a minute and went to the other, before returning the next day.  At the same time, the system becomes unable to open files on windows via sharing network by using a UNC path.  Closing applications randomly will temporarily ease the problem, at least to the extent to be able to access the network again, files but some title bars never come back.
