  But when you install the latest version of CC 2015, it allows you to uninstall your previous CC and CC 2014 versions.

AutoPlay is entirely controlled by Windows, and the only thing that Lightroom can really do in this situation, it is added to the registry. To break what is happening in the registry, Windows has a list of applications that should be able to manage stocks of AutoPlay. Lightroom registry entries both define themselves as an auto player possible and what it can offer shares. When you plug in a device, Windows checks its list of automatic reading of the options and then sends the information to the appropriate application. In this case, Windows just Lightroom on his list of applicable for your camera applications. The first thing I would say is copying the content of Lightroom6AutoPlayHandler into Lightroom6BetaAutoPlayHandler64 and see if that changes anything.
