  I have attached a screenshot showing how to select restore automatic session just above the setting of the Home Page where it says "When Firefox starts".

  With this set, you can restart Firefox manually out using the menu-

  • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
  • (menu bar) File > Exit

  -and then restart Firefox.

  You want to do is put to how you bought it(out-of-the-box)

  You don't say if you have a Vista DVD or not.

  If you do, go to Setup/Bios boot/market by pressing F2 or DEL depending on your computer and set the DVD to be 1st in the boot order, restart with DVD in this disc, load files, delete the existing Vista partition, create the new partition, formatt, install, etc..

  If Recovery DVD a manufacturer supplied with the computer, follow the instructions to restart via the same method of boot above order.

  It's the way they do now, most of the time. We are supposed to do the recovery disks it ourselves, with the instructions included in the software of the manufacturer installed in the start menu > all programs.

  If you mean the Spooler Service, go to start / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Services and scroll to spooler and make sure that it is set to automatic (put it in auto mode if it is not) and make sure that it is started.  If it is running, stop it and then restart it again.  If it is stopped, start it just.

  I have several questions after I ended the process explorer.exe and reopened. "Ctrl + Alt + Delete" only opens the Task Manager (and neither do "Ctrl + Shift + Esc"), the level of the battery is displayed on my taskbar, my wallpaper mysteriously changed, etc.

  My taskbar was hidden behind a window I had open. For example, if I open the Chrome, Chrome window cover at the bottom of my screen, with the taskbar behind it. The taskbar was NOT to hide and minimize. So, I took the advice to restart my explorer.exe. However this is not going smoothly. I couldn't bring up the task in any Manager. I could not even restart my computer. The only thing I could do was click on the space bar, which makes "click on" my browser Chrome which was open at the time. This allowed me to open a task manager with control of Chrome ONLY. Chrome, I've navigated to C:/.../explorer.exe and double clicked on it. I got my taskbar and the office back, although very distorted. Now, there are still a lot of questions I need to recover from. I think it might be a problem starting some .exe that could somehow have disabled. I would be happy to provide any additional information.

  Refer to these methods and see if they help.

  Method 1:

  I'm sorry to say, but you have not virtualized Explorer. You can prove it by activating the entry of cmd.exe and run explorer.exe. Can now drag you outside of the virtual environment and see only the physical content. Why is this? This is because explorer.exe is already running in mode native and default, you are not allowed to launch a new instance of it. In order to preserve the RAM it reuses the existing process and the only launch a new window. You can force a new instance (and thus to run explorer.exe virtualized) following this blog: Running explorer.exe inside the bubble. VMware ThinApp Blog - Articles of VMware

  In your case you are much more likely to have been hit by the fact that ThinApp launches all the treated child almost by default. This allows for greater compatibility of applications and really nothing, you need to change. If you know from the start what you want to exclude this default behavior, you can use the parameter called package.ini:

  ChildProcessEnvironmentExceptions = NameOfProcess.exe

  If you want to force all child processes that will be launched outside the virtual environment use this parameter in package.ini:

  [BuildOptions]

  ChildProcessEnvironmentDefault = external

  Just a word of warning. Change the default behavior might make your package to fail. Several times, all processes must run in the same environment.

  One thing that could be causing your problem is the Modes of insulation as well... You could be in sandbox all your Dropbox files. It is probably not what you want...
