  Welcome to the Microsoft community,

  I preached this whole week... my pleasure to increased win8 x 100 once I turned off the edge of the touchpad scan function.  The path may be slightly different, but the synaptics touchpad is the Control Panel / hardware and audio / mouse / device settings / settings / edge shot - and disable "enable edge scans".

  This prevents context changes maddening when browsing the web or doing anything on the touch pad really... you can always access the charms on the right upper or lower, and you can always access history FRO the top left corner after that you disable this... but it is much more controlled.

  This is not how it would work production / the device. After restarting the device, the menu item will be deleted from the repository, and you will have a menu item.

  However, if you leave your app and try again (if you save the menu items at the application startup) the you'll thus duplication. If this isn't the case, then you should not worry.

  If this is the case, then I suggest your store a veriable TERM as a check to ensure no duplicates.

  Thanks for the reply but my problem is that when I did a "right-click" there was NO "PIN at the beginning", he had disappeared.  Even if you use Internet Explorer on the Start Menu (I.E.from the office is different and would not work for the PIN at the beginning in all cases).

  My problem was that my default Google Chrome.  I UNINSTALLED Google Chrome and then my Pin To Start returning.

  Please follow the steps below to reset the Photoshop preferences.

  > Hold down the SHIFT key, command and Option (in Mac) or shift, Ctrl, and Alt (Windows) key and click on the Photoshop CS5 icon until you get a dialog box to delete the settings of Photoshop file.

  > Click Yes to it.

  Note: Using the hotkey, preference files for custom shortcuts, workspaces, and color settings will also reset to the default.
