How can I upgrade the graphics on a firebird 802?

HP Firebird Voodoo DNA 802 product # GM339AAR #ABA S.N. {removed privacy}

Graphics card: Nvidia NForce 760I SLI. Drivers latest have been installed

I'd like to update the graphics but don't know how. NoPCI slots.

Shortly after the release of the Version of the driver GeForce 266.58 WHQL GPU Nvidia GeForce 9800 S removed from the NVDISP. File INF Display Information included with the newer driver installation programs. It is possible to change the NVDISP. INF file to include the GeForce 9800 S GPU and install the latest drivers but the Nvidia Control Panel is missing a few pages. I hope Nvidia will fix this later.

I used the following three files from the site Web NVIDIA under Windows 7 64-bit and Vista 64-bit. From my experience, they are more good, more complete and up-to-date files that install properly on my two Firebirds.

nForce Driver Version WHQL 15.56

GeForce Driver Version WHQL 266.58

System Tools NVIDIA with support from ESA Version 6.08

First, you must use the page to Toshiba display driver.
The use of other drivers can lead to highest GPU temperature and cause overheating.

But if you want to use other drivers, you can do so at you own risk.
In order to install another driver, go to Device Manager, mark the graphics card, then press on uninstall button.
Then the driver should be uninstalled.

After you restart the laptop, you can try to install the new version.

    > It is also not possible to change the settings for graphic resolution higher than 1280 X 800 Pix.
The internal screen for laptop supports 1280 x 800 high resolution. It is not possible to choose a higher value.

  • Can I upgrade the graphics of my HP Pavilion dv4-2045dx?

Operating system: Windows 7 32 bit

The product name and number of HP Pavilion dv2-2045dx

First of all, a note on my computer: I recentley reformatted it.

    My problem:

My laptop Pavilion dv4 2045dx cannot play Diablo 3. I've waited nine years for this game to come out. Buying a new computer to play D3 is not economically feasible.

So my question is, should I upgrade graphics card in my computer? If so, can I buy the graphics card and pay a professional to install it? I never tried to upgrade a laptop before.

    Here are some notes more:

    Hello:

Graphics cards cannot be updated simply.

You will need to replace the motherboard with another which would have better graphics (if available for your model).

This would cost as much buying a new laptop, so it is probably not a good idea to undertake such a venture.

  • How can I upgrade the bios m5-581tg to 2.11?

I would spend my M5 BIOS - 581TG Aspire to 1.12 to 2.11, so I can have UEFI full support of windows 10. Right now, I can't start in installing 10 default directly woindows UEFI. the only way to do is to activate the f12 boot menu and select the "unknown DVICE: Windows Boot Manager" which is embarrassing and prevents me from dual-boot easily.

So I tried to upgrade the BIOS on the official website located here: However, when I download, unzip and run the application, I get the following error. "Please upgrade to the same type of BIOS (version 1.x)" and after I click OK on this error message popup utility closes and I can't upgrade the BIOS.

How can I do this so that I can have the support of UEFI?

    No, no way.

the 2.x versions are only M5 with windows 8 plant, yours has windows 7.

  • How can I check the graphic card installed on my hp probook 4530 s

I want to improve the graphics of my laptop to play games with higher graphics requirements? What should I do?

    Hello

I hate to rain on your parade, but a laptop is not a desktop PC. With a desktop PC, the upgrade is really quite simple and easy for most people. Buy a suitable video card and maybe a diet to meet the requirements of the th3 video card.

Upgrading the graphics solution in a laptop is generally not viable because in most cases, you have what you bought and it is not extensible.

Your HP proBook is a professional laptop and it was designed for productivity software and not game. The chances of your computer laptop, even with switchable graphics (high-performance) is also quite thin, but because it would have been a candidate for gaming laptop.

There are exotic and costly as the external graphic ViDock of Villagetronics.com solutions and others for laptops, but if not, you have what you bought.

  • Equium A60 runs unstable - how can I upgrade the memory?

I have a friend visit me who has an Equium A60 which is very unstable when she runs multiple applications. I checked and it has only 192 MB of RAM. Can be increased and if so how much. How many slots are there on this machine?

She is currently in the USA and I checked on Toshiba USA website and cannot find this PC is listed, so it should only be sold in Europe. It would be useful if someone could tell me what kind of memory it takes so I could look for it here. She is a student and in great need of a stable computer for his studies.

Thanks a lot for all the help in advance.

    Hello

Of course you can upgrade the memory.
I guess you have only 192 MB memory main because the laptop came with 256 MB internal memory and the 64 MB are shared by the graphics card! This is why only 192 MB are free.

Anyway, as I said the laptop came with 256 MB internal and memory is not removable.
So only one slot is expandable!
If you can upgrade the memory for max 1280MB (256 MB + 1024 MB)

    You can use the modules:
    PC2700 256 MB (PA3311U - 1 M 25)
    PC2700 512 MB (PA3312U - 1 M 51)
    1024MO PC2700 (PA3313U-1M1G)

Do you know where is the crack?

The slot is placed at the bottom of the device! The cover is fixed with a screw.
Remove this screw and you will be able to open the slot and improve memory.

PS; I think that upgrading memory is described in the manual of Toshiba that was preinstalled on your laptop.
Alternatively, you can download this manual from the page of Tosh

    Hello

Unfortunately, NO, since the graphics chip is welded (wired) on the motherboard. To play games, you can buy another machine with a better graphics card (Geforce 8700 M GT is very good).

Sorry mate, but theres no chance of getting the best performance from your machine about games.

  • Can I upgrade the graphics card on the HP Pavilion 1b50us g6?

If it is possible to update the graphics card, which would be recommended to upgrade, I spend most of my time on this laptop computer game and it is a bit slow, I already updated the RAM 8 GB. If it is not possible to update the graphics card, which computer would be recommended for games?

    Hello:

I don't know much about laptops of games. I just use to read email and surf the web.

Yours came with a dedicated video card so it was the best you could do at the time.

You'll definitely want to buy another laptop with separate video and system not shared video memory (UMA).

I think that there is a way to transfer your own settings from one PC to another, but I've never done that before, so unfortunately, I can't help you there either.
