  Using a subscription of Acrobat, you can install the software on two computers and can turn on one at a time.

  If you want to run the software on the third machine, then you will need to uninstall the software from any of the previous computers.

  We are sorry for the inconvenience. The error we are talking about happens only if we have the product installed on more than two computers. I would ask you many want to give me your email add in a private message and I will check the details of the accounts.

  In addition, if you get this error message, I'll ask you turn it off by clicking the button continue. To turn off the previous two computers for you and the resett the County back to 0.

  Alex Romano that I'm sorry for the confusion, but you can remove all entries related to Adobe in your host file.  For example the entries in your current host file is causing any request to ereg.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 is the address of the server to your computer/localhost.  These entries are preventing your membership from being authorized.

  The "activation server" Adobe, which allow you to install and use, was turned off years. You cannot use your CD in all cases. (Although it is external plugin CDs are cheap, easy to use and almost essential).

  There is a special Acrobat 7 download for users dismissed (with the new series)... but it won't work on existing systems. Unless you have Windows Vista, 32-bit, and the more you will probably need to purchase Acrobat again. (No upgrade more, sad to say).

  You can not. And this has nothing to do with the 32 vs 64 bit. The driver model is simply completely different on Windows 7. You must upgrade to Acrobat X and use alternative like GhostScript.

  Your subscription to creative cloud is independent of CS4 and should not interfere with the installation of the Acrobat 9 that came with you more. Run the Creative Suite Installer and installing it will give you a screen where you can choose which application you want to install.

  If you have tried and it doesn't work, we will be able to best solve your problem if you can provide more details as suggested by Mylenium. What is your OS and what exactly happens when you try to install Acrobat CS4 discs? You receive an error message? Thanks for posting a screenshot if possible: the specified element could not be found...

  find the source of a computer problem.  Adobe has countered successfully my efforts to re - install Acrobat Pro XI.

  If someone could tell me what I should do to get Acrobat back on my computer, I would be very grateful.  It's extremely frustrating.

  The title of the page, "CC Office lists applications as"up-to-date"not installed", is a good description of my problem.  In my case, Adobe Acrobat Pro XI was listed as "up-to-date", even after I had uninstalled.  Thus, CC Office wouldn't give me the ability to re - install.

  This help page for Adobe gives 4 solutions.  I went through all 4, but my problem was not solved until I ran the #4 Solution - which is to remove all traces of creative cloud Adobe using the 'Adobe_Creative_Cloud_Cleaner_Tool' (see link below).  You can probably go straight to #4, but I didn't try that.

  After I applied the CC cleaning tool, I have re-installed CC Desktop App, and I could then reinstall Acrobat Pro, as well as other CC applications.

  My apologies. I had to double check. You can install the software on a Mac and PC and their two installs can be on different platforms and use them at the same time. Restricting the secondary use, I was talking about, does not apply to subscriptions.
