  The internal date and time battery should load up in 4 hours with a charged battery installed. Then it must retain the date and time for about 3 weeks once loaded and the battery removed.

  If this is not done or pretty close to that, then by all means send it back for repair or replacement or refund.

  To my knowledge, that is not a chronic problem with the SX60 so in all liklihood, you have a faulty they need repair.

  Click on the Menu start, open the all programs, open HP and click on update to HP - you should see a settings button in the lower part, click on this button and change the frequency of checking of updates (choose never if you prefer to manually control), then click on apply to save the setting.  Restart the PC to check that this prevented the pop-up.

  I guess it would be similar to online sites that have the same concept of a session.  As I understand it, is that you essentially need either make the longer session time-out, not all the session timeout or use a different way to authenticate your user.
