  Since the passage of Win 8.0 to 8.1, my laptop does not respond to the new entry after the closing and reopening of the cover.  As an attempt to circumvent the problem, in Control Panel (Control Panel > hardware and sound > Power Options > System Settings) I selected 'doing nothing' for preferences "when I close the lid.  After having opened the lid, tab browser fail to loa, windows cannot be enabled/disabled and CTRL-ALT-DEL gives no answer (preventing access to even the Task Manager).  The computer must be restarted to continue in force.

  This solution seems to have worked, even if I do not know why the four actions that were "resolved" by the resolution of the problems of power would cause the issue.

  So f_details is the static ID for the report?  You can replace your real action with action to refresh and select the correct region.

  Also, did you include P14_SEARCH in the field "Items to submit Page" located right underneath the Source SQL?

  Oh and one thing, without doubt the most important, turn on "Partial Page Refresh" under the report attributes. I think that it is set to no by default on the Forms tab (but I didn't test it).

  Don't worry, however, as I have a few steps to help solve this problem,

  For the steps and details on how to control what your COVER:

  In the Power Options window that opens, click the link to Choose closing the cover on the left sidebar.

  You can choose to do nothing, sleep, Hibernateor shut down.  In general,sleep is a good option, but if you leave your laptop running, select do nothing.

  I found the fix for it.

  About: config, filter for 'Start '

  Ones you want to should appear at the bottom.

  Startup.homepage_override_url and startup.homepage_welcome_url

  Double-click on each one and delete the text string. Close and reopen the window to check that it worked.

  As I deleted them both at the same time, I'm not sure who was the culprit. So, I suggest starting by striking first and tests before deleting this one.

  Hmm, it's still a stupid situation
  Usually you can remove the keyboard of the laptop very easily.
  The keyboard is fixed with screws hidden under thin plastic cover near the line of F1 - F12 key.

  If you would remove plastic this cover then you would be able to remove the screws as well. Then you could lift the keyboard carefully and could disconnect the flat cable of the keyboard and the motherboard.

  Notes; two small latches on both sides of the connector must be moved in order to disconnect the cable.

  Then you could remove the keyboard and could clean it with a damp lint.
  PS: the caps can be removed too.
  But be very careful. You must raise the CAP to get it for free.

  This laptop comes with a glossy screen... It is not the glass which is cracked, but the screen behind the glass. Laptop a few months, never fallen, never traveled with, etc. No water damage... has not been closed with something between the screen and keyboard... Is - it never covered by warranty? Literally, I closed the screen and is gone in another room... when I came back a few minutes later and lifted the lid of that screen had a cobweb crack down very close to downtown... some cracks spread over the entire screen causing a giant dark upside triangle... the box is left blurred and the small area on the right you can see the screen a bit correctly. Ive been infatuated with this laptop... Always keep it in the same place (I use my phone if you travel) but I am baffled by this. Ive met someone else who had the same problem with this model via google search. Reminds me of all the problems that motorola had with its phone screens in Rabat because of the way they have been mounted. All hope of warranty or do I just replace the screen?   Do you see this folder? If so, please check inside a folder named semi-randomly and check the inside of a folder named bookmarkbackups. If you have, please use the article #1 above, but "Select a file" option to restore one of the backups in the folder on your desktop.
