  Yes, it's standard. Your only option with Apple will be to pay for a full out-of-warranty replacement device.  The costs for this in the USA are $ 299 for which you get a refurbished device to factory OEM with a 90 day warranty.

• MacBook Pro delivers after water damage

  I have the model: A1278 I do not know what operating system is installed

  The laptop in question got wet and is now dry.

  The problem starts when I turn on the system, it normally turns... (but slower)  It asks me to put my password. When I enter it, it says it is incorrect and asks me if I want to reset it using my apple ID, when I press on it the computer crashes.

  I tried to insert a USB stick with version OSX 10 but when I press and hold C or D I get the following error:

  Even if the phone is quite expensive, it IS NOT impermeable to water, is not allowed to survive water damage. This is clearly stated everywhere where it is possible.

  If you need a phone that is sustainable water, you should look for one of the specific models that have these capabilities and which are certified and tested to be waterproof to the water.

  You can only hope for the best and maybe leave a feature request for Apple at the link.
