How to block unwanted pop us on yahoo mail

I get pop - unwanted ups on the top bar of my bt yahoo mail page, next to the box of contacts. The current message is wilmadrummondi425. I have Windows XP and Firefox. I continue to clear the popup by clicking on the x in the upper right corner of the pop-up, but it keeps returning whenever I open my email account. Any help much appreciated. Thank you.

Solved this problem myself by clicking the pop-up and to find a way to add the name of the pop-up window to a list of pop - up I didn't want to not hear about. Thank you.
