Hello

Did you check your user manual?
There you might find useful information and details on your portable devices and how to connect it to the TV!

  • How to connect a Qosmio G30 to the TV

Could someone help me please. I'm not good with computers if at all really need. I want to conect my Qosmio G30 to my TV.

It's an old TV not LCD or plasma. I have a cable with my laptop which connects the laptop to the TV via a connection SCART. I then supported on FN with F5 and erased G30 screen and nothing happened. I made FN + F5 again and the image on the G30 with icons much more large etc, but nothing on my TV.

I have been advised to waste his time with my display settings and turn on a second monitor. I did that and followed my actions above. I got a very dark image for a few seconds on my TV and then nothing! I was told today to tinker with my NVIDIA settings and this should allow a connection SCART TV. Could you please give me a definitive answer?

I apologize for my obvious lack of knowkedge...

    Hello

I don't know how old is your laptop, but almost all older TVs have a separate channel that can be used if the external device is connected. Check your TV remote control. There must be a button with the symbol that looks like the right arrow that shows in the circle.

http://www.2ourgoal.com/uploadfiles/200732721729797.jpg - button to 0 on the right side. Try it please use this channel on the TV.

  • How to connect the Qosmio G20 156 to DTT2200 sound creative

Can someone recommend the best way to connect my G20-156 sound creativity works 5.1 desktop theater DTT2200. This was connected to a PC so I think a card external sound would be via a USB port, but is this the best way and that model?

    Hello

I put t know what cables and what made the 5.1 support desktop theater DTT2200 but the Qosmio supports headphones with S/PDIF out.

I use the headphone jack on my satellite to connect the unit to the stereo.
I use a cable with a connector on one end and RCA connectors (red and white) 2 on the other end of the cable.
The two connectors, I connected to HiFi and taking helmet.

I think you can also try to use the same way to connect external speakers for the Qosmio.

  • How to connect a Qosmio G20 to a TV?

Hi, I posted here a long time ago and I have not yet found a solution to this problem.

I want to connect my laptop to my TV. I'm always in another room, so I'll be either hanging up to 21 "Toshiba, or 32" Sony or 51 "Toshiba - I don't know if hang to different brands of TV will create a problem. I tried to plug the laptop computer with an S-video cable and a DVI cable (who both wired SCART at one end).

I can't get the thing to work with a TV! Here is exactly what I do when I try:

    * I click on start then click on Control Panel
    * I click on 'appearance and themes '.
    * I click on "display".
    * I click on the tab "settings".
    * I click on 'Advanced '.
    * I click on the tab "GeForce Go 6600.
    * I select settings to make me a clone view on digital flat screen and a TV.
    * I click "Device settings" to make sure that all the settings of the TV are correct.
    * I press "Apply" and nothing happens!

Can someone help me? I've had this laptop for centuries and I still have this feature not to work! Any help will be really appreciated! I look forward to THE answers.

    Thank you very much!

You forgot to put a thing.

  • How to connect a plasma panel digitally to Qosmio F10-130

    Hello

I just orderer F10-130 and I would like to connect my Panel plasma with a digital video signal. The monitor has a DVI input and the F10 has a'D-video out' so-called interface I've ever seen elsewhere. What is the best way to connect the two devices? I know D - Sub or S-video VGA should work, but IMHO, it is not state of the art. A D-Video/DVI adapter exist?

    Hi marsu

Connection D Qosmio port, you can connect to the TV SCART port. The cable is supplied with the laptop Qosmio. Sorry, but I think that there is no ability to connect to the DVI port on your TV.

The only thing you can do is ask some experts in electronic stores if there is a solution for this problem.

    Good luck!

  • Qosmio F10: How to record audio and video and use QosmioPlayer

I am owner of a Qosmio F10-122 with TV tuner and I really need HELP. I'm Italian.

    The questions are:
1 QosmioPlayer version 4.0.1 (2005022812) (according to the procedure of the forum) has installed fine but the sensitivity is poor; in any case the question is: is is possible to record videos? Also is it possible to record audio?

2 input and video output are stupid; I can see Windows and QosmioTV on HDTV via DVI/SCART but I can't input in MCE TV or QosmioPlayer any signal IN Composite; so the question is once again how can record AUDIO from my Home stereo or VCR VHS VIDEO?

    3. I only use VIDEO IN to WATCH is not to save: where is my fault?

    Thanks, Marco

    Hello Marco

I did some testing and I can tell you about my experience on Qosmio G20.

    1. as far as I know early versions of Qosmioplayer did not have the registration option but now I hope that your preinstalled version has REC option. If so, please be sure that you have about 5 GB of free space for the recorded material.

It is not important what signal is sent to your Qosmio (TV or VCR VHS-connected) you can find it if you look at the channels. With REC option, you can save what you want. I tested it with my VCR VHS and I recorded some old movies. This material was recorder und great quality was the same as on cassettes. After recording, I started Windows MCE and transferred the material recorded in Windows using Qosmio player utility.

I have not tried, but I put t think you will be able to record audio using only Qosmioplayer.
    2. you can record movies VHS if you connect your VCR VHS on the Qosmio using the antenna cable. Launch Media center Edition (TV option) and scan channels. In my case, I could watch movies VHS on MCE on channel 31. Using REC option you can save all documents of video cassettes. Later, you can change the recorded material and create own DVDs. It really isn't a problem.

Your audio Home Audio recording can be a bit more problematic, and if you want it to be on the professional path you will need a device external and of course some professional recording software.
    3. I don't know what to write here. Just try to do what I already descriebed under 1 and 2.

    Good bye

  • Qosmio F10 and TV connection via SCART?

I try to display on television. using the output S-video of my Qosmio F10 I have no problem. However my TV S-video entry is at the front behind the door of some panels, so it is much more convenient to use one of the inputs SCART on the back of my TV.

I've never had problems with one of these entries SCART (it worked perfectly with VCRs, DVDplayers), but now everything I try I can't get it to work with the cable SCART provided with the Qosmio.

How is it? is there a way I can test it there is a signal on the output in the cable SCART on my Qosmio?

    Hello

If you want to send the signal to the TV using the SCART, you can use adapter SCART (In/Out). Google a bit and I'm sure you can find the best solution.

You can also get the best information in some electronics stores. There you can get appropriate technical advice.

  • How to upgrade the Player Qosmio F10?

    Hello.
I bought Qosmio F10-100 and had a problem, watching TV in the reader MCE and Qosmio {no sound quality, b & w, poor}. Then I installed the new version of the TV tuner driver and solved the problem of the MCE.
Now I want to update Qosmio Player {noise}, I downloaded it, but I read in the Readme it must 200MBytes of unpartitioned hard disk space. I can install without repartitioning my hard drive? What happens with current Qosmio Playerpartition {80 MB}? I'll be able to see this old partition of Partition Magic?
