How to connect satellite P200 - 1 8 to a 40 "LCD TV

Sorry if this has been before Laura but I tried to pick him up and nothing came...

I have a Satellite P200 - 1 g 8 and I would like to connect it to a 40-inch LCD.
Should what kind of cable I connect the 2?

The TV is a Samsung LE40B620.
Could I get a HDMI cable and use the hdmi on the TV and the laptop connections?

Must be a special type of cable or are they all the same...

Sorry if this sound stupid, but I don't have a clue how to put better... Thanks in advance

Hello

Your laptop Satellite P200 - 1 8 seems to support HDMI output port.
The LCD display supports a HDMI port.
Then just use a HDMI 1.3 cable to connect both devices.
That would be the simplest solution.

I have connected my U400 24 LCD via an HDMI cable
It works!

To connect the laptop to the TV is very easy. If you look at the user s manuals document you will find exact explanation how proceed.

If I remember well your laptop should have S-Video output and video signal transfer port, you must use S-video cable. I hope your TV's S-Video IN port. If this isn't the case, you can use different cards.

Please check this thread and read carefully reading written by Miro. He explained very detailed how to connect the laptop to the TV.

  • Re: How to reset Satellite P200-12V in factory State?

    Hello

I need help to reset my computer (Satellite P200-12V) in factory State.

After turning on my computer, I get "blue screens of death" after a few minutes.
I tried to download the drivers, where it was due to a bad, but the problem remains.
The only solution that I can choose is therefore now put in shape the HD and restore the original soft Toshiba and OS (Vista), that is, from what I know, in a hidden partition.

I tried F8 but I have in the dropdown menu, I don t get no option for this (I wonder just to use my system CD, and of course, I have not...).

Is there one plan other than the F8?
Please, what can I do now?

    Thanks for your help
    Mike

    Hello Mike

Some old notebooks as your P200 were shipped with and some without recovery DVDs. notebooks shipped without DVD recovery media had saved from a recovery image on the second partition of HARD drive in the folder called HDDRecovery was not a hidden partition. It was visible in Windows Explorer.

If your laptop has been delivered without DVD you had the ability to create this disc using Toshiba recovery disc creator pre-installed recovery. I assume that you didn't create, right?

If you can't see the option repair my computer start-up advanced options (F8 at startup) that there is no way to launch the installation of HARD drive recovery.
    > Is there any procedure except F8?
Yes. Use of DVD recovery, but of course you don t have it.

Is it possible that you get the original installation disc for Microsoft?

  • How to connect Satellite M55 to my LCD TV?

I have a M - 55 Satellite and want to connect it to my TV LCD 20'. I bought a VGA cord and hung it at once, but nothing is really happening. It appears on the TV when I'm starting MSFT XP so that s it.

My laptop is on a 1 year old. Do I need a special video card? I have been to display, settings and made the appropriate changes, but still nothings... I need your wisdom.

    Kind regards

    Hello

What graphics card you have on board? You have done the installation, you are your VGA output of your LCD screen correctly in your display properties? Maybe that is the solution just in the correct settings of your VGA card.
A good way is to update the graphics drivers to the latest version.

  • How to connect satellite decoder for Qosmio G50 using cable RCA video in

I want to connect my satellite receiver to my laptop Qosmio G50 using the video RCA cable I got with the computer. (yellow, red, white RCA and one Jack)

Could you help me where should I plug this cable that I have not found all the instructions in the user manual. (User manual list this cable on page 21, so it can be used for something somehow for sure!)

(The decoder doesn't have a coaxial output, and I don't want to put another machine (eg. an old VCR) just to use a coaxial connection.)

  • Tecra M2: How to connect on port DVI - D LCD with DVI - I and at 1600 x 1200

My Toshiba Tecra M2 has a GeForce FX go5200. Docking station has a DVI - D port.

I want to use an external LCD screen which is equipped with a DVI - I port.

When you connect a DVI - D cable to the DVI - D between the ports and monitor Replicator and if I set to 1600 x 1200 which is desired (and support for the resolution of the screen) then the display does not fit in the liquid crystal display and therefore the screen starts to pan.

If I use a (next to the PC) VGA / DVI - I (next to the screen) cable then I wanted resolution of 1600 x 1200.

    Please advise so how:

Connect the Port DVI - D from Toshiba to LCD with DVI - I and at 1600 x 1200.

    Help, please...

    Hello

    Hello

    (1) have you activated the WLan card?
To activate the Wlan you must pass the antenna WLan switch on IT (LED should Flash) and you must use the FN + F8 key.

    (2) did you check the WLan configuration?
-SID, right encryption settings, good filtering by MAC address, good TCP/IP settings on the right

    (3) have you tried to update the driver WLan?

    (4) don't you update the BIOS?

If this is not the case, check this box!

After starting Windows Vista on my Satellite P200, I received a message: failed to connect to any Windows Services. The event notification system file are not available.
Use restricted to the mode of administration.

No network supports either (wifi, Ethernet,...). At least I can use the PC in batch mode!

Do you offer a lighter solution?

It's strange, but what you mean with batch mode?

I think the best way is to reinstall Windows with the recovery disk. It only takes a few minutes and then you have the new installation of Windows with all the drivers and tools of Toshiba.

  • Satellite P100: How to connect to internet via WiFi?

I read a post above that says that the sticker on the bottom of the laptop ' wireless network: no w/l ' means that there are no installed wireless.
I'm fairly certain that my Satellite P100 has installed. I customized my phone, ensuring that I have added wireless for the school.

I have an on-off switch for the wireless on the case. Also, when I entered a zone wireless for the first time, a program (Q-Connect) came.
I reinstalled Windows XP and wonder if it is a software that is missing (which has been the case with other similar programs audio).

This could be the operator error?
    I don't know anything wireless.
How to connect to wireless internet?

    Hello

First, you must be sure that your laptop has WLan card to 100%. Go to the Device Manager and check the network adapters section. If you will see card WLan (intel or atheros) then you unit definitely has the Wlan card.
To use the WiFi network, you must configure your Wlan router. Consult the manual.
You must then activate the Wlan switch on the side of the laptop and use the combination FN + F8 to select the WiFi network.

For the other steps, you can also check this forum wireless. Here you will find a lot of descriptions.
