Why when I try to update Adobe Flash, it ask me to remove Firefox.
13.0a2 Aurora, on Ubuntu 11.10, using can't play flash with the Gnash plugin current; When I try to update Adobe Flash, it ask me to remove Firefox.
Not sure if there is no default restrictions you may have to substitute. Also, I think that Synaptic should be offering at least Flash 11, except perhaps the default Firefox with Ubuntu is 64-bit. If you have downloaded the Mozilla's Aurora zip package, you can try to create a plugins folder in the extracted folder firefox as shown in the Readme Adobe. That way you would the regular Firefox for Ubuntu with Gnash, as well as the future Firefox with Flash and maybe Squeak. Please note that it would be a good idea to create another profile (for eg. aurora) and switch between the two profiles for Firefox and Aurora to prevent the possible alteration of personal data. Ubuntu forums would also be very useful.

Satellite L300 - Vista asks me for a key
I recently bought a Satellite L300-1CU with Windows Vista already installed.
When I start the programs that they ask me to enter a key, when I entered the 25-character key found on the Windows sticker at the bottom of the computor as computor says it's the wrong key.
I'm doing something wrong? If not, where can I get the right key of.
I doubt that Vista asks for a key. I think you mean Microsoft Office, right?
Well, the button on the underside is for Vista preinstalled, NO Office but normally you can see from the thumbnail (Windows Vista product key)
On Toshiba laptops there s only one Office pre-installed trial version and if you want the version complete, you must pay for it.

I had Cogeco security Anti Virus etc installed on the computer and called and asked them to remove it and when they did... He also took off my e-mail Outlook Express6 program. After talking to them... they said was probably altered the outlook express and take off the anti virus program him took off the corrupt outlook express as well. Can someone tell me where to find a download for outlook express6 for windows xp professional?
Thank you
original title: download of outlook express6
They screwed something. OE is a part of IE6 and both are part of the XP operating system. You can't take off OE is there a standalone download.
Control Panel | Add/Remove programs. Add/Remove Windows components. OE is checked and restart.
If OE is verified:
Right click on the desktop | New | Shortcut. Navigate to "c:\program files\outlook express\msimn.exe". Click next | Click Finish. It will be a new shortcut on the desktop.
I would like to know where you are now.

Hello
do not normally remove you the malware by upgrading
You must do a clean install
Try this instead:
Download update and scan with the free version of malwarebytes anti-malware

You can also download and run rkill to stop the process of problem before you download and scan with malwarebytes

If it does not remove the problem and or work correctly in normal mode do work above in safe mode with networking

Using the F8 method:
- Restart your computer.
- When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.

Vista - programs try to remove themselves if clicked
Initially, there was a continuous type in each panel research (Windows Vista) with lots of +++ and it wouldn't stop.
I suspect a virus but my Norton to date found nothing. I tried since several other antivirus products, including the latest (full analysis of Microsoft) malicious software removal tool and still nothing.I have studied the possibility of a stuck key, but it doesn't seem to be the problem either.
Since the race, I have the restore disc and now the problem has changed.
Now, every time I click on a program in the list of programs all I get a message asking if I'm sure I want to delete it!
Seems very viral, but after that finished four reformat / reinstall I wonder if it's something else.Any ideas?
Thank youHello
Usually the laptop should run correctly after a complete reinstallation of the Windows operating system.
If it s not the case, a hardware problem may be possibleIn your case I guess the keyboard could malfunction. But it's just my personal suggestion and a cheque of laptop would be needed to ensure that's exactly wrong.
So maybe it's time to contact the ASP in your country

Vista Home premium - cannot remove a network connection.
I have administrator rights and remove button in "manage network connections", I get a pop up - but the connection that it does not remove. Several reboots.
Pls advise. Thank youHello
Follow the steps below to remove the old network connections on a Windows vista computer.
(1) use your mouse to click on the start menu, and then select Control Panel.
2) click the button on "Network and Internet" Control Panel and select network and sharing Center.
3) click on the tab "manage network connections".
(4) find the old network connections you want to remove in the scroll bar. According to the number of connections you currently have in Windows Vista, it is possible that you need to scroll a bit to find the one you want to delete.
5) click on the old connection you want to remove.
6) click on the button 'delete '.
(7) to confirm your selection by pressing 'Yes' when asked if you are sure you want to remove the connection. You can also choose to press 'Cancel' or 'No' to return to the previous screen and prohibit the removal of the connection.
(8) notes that you can also change the network through the Network Wizard. Simply click on start, then "Connect To" and "show all connections".
(9) select the network connection you want to change by clicking right on it and selecting the option you want. You can choose 'Disable' the connection, which would roughly have the same effect that completely removing, making it inactive.
(10) press the button 'Delete' after clicking on a network connection in the network connection window. This will completely remove the connection in the same way that detached from the control panel.

Vista asks me to "register my PC to maximize my experience of ownership and management.
So, I recently reformatted my computer due to some strange sound problems. I used a reformat disc given by HP.
I did a ton of updates, but after a few waves of updates, my computer keeps asking me to register my computer. I had already recorded until the operating system has started for the "first time", and I recorded using it about 3 times already! It keeps popping up every half hour or so. In addition, it seems official, I can't just 'X' out of the window, or click close the window. When I select the "don't remind me more" happens in half an hour!
It's pretty frustrating, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Windows 7 and vista dual boot. to remove vista
I have windows 7 installed on C drive and windows vista on drive H (another partition on hard disk). I removed my computer windows vista by using the System Configuration application. However it has not deleted the files of vista from the hard drive. Don't we have to do it manually? If so, how? Alternatively, the application did not work correctly? Even if it's not showing vista as operating system available nor is he asked to choose for her during the priming that probably shows that the application was functioning properly. I just want to free up space on my hard drive. Please guide.
Run the disk by right-clicking on computer management, clicking on Manage > storage > disk management. The drive that is labeled as system is where the boot files are stored and it is where the initial startup starts from. If it is on the Windows 7 partition, you can delete the files of Vista or even to delete the partition.

Run the System File Checker

If SFC cannot repair the files, you will need to reinstall Windows Vista

Hard drive used with reinstalled Vista asks you username and password
I replaced my hard drive damaged by a second-hand and reinstalled Vista. At the start he is now asking for the user name and password. I have a password on the original hard disk, and it did not start. I tried my old user name with blank password, but it didn't work. How can this be repaired?
I installed Windows again using the original installation disc of Vista came with the Dell laptop. Installation worked fine, but ask some 'Other' user name and password to the launch of Windows. Tried to my 'old', but would not work.
So I erased opportunity newly installed using the DBAN program and reinstalled Windows Vista hard drive. That did the trick. I was able to launch Windows and create a new username and password. Once I got into Windows, I've updated the drivers from the Dell website using my Service tag. Work now - great Amen!
