How to connect to sqlplus on the cluster database

Hello

I have a task to export a database clusdb scheme, which is a cluster database.

cluster database name: clusdb

Instance name: > >-> > Hostname: > > ASM Instance:

Clusdb.global_clusdb01 > > srvpd_01.global > > + ASM1_srvpd_01.global

Clusdb.global_clusdb02 > > srvpd_02.global > > + ASM2_srvpd_02.global

When I try to run "sqlplus" to connect to the database on any of the host, it shows the command not found error.

# oracle@srvpd_01.global >: sqlplus

-bash: sqlplus: command not found

# oracle@srvpd_02.global >: sqlplus
-bash: sqlplus: command not found

How to connect to the cluster database?

Thank you!

ORACLE_SID = CLUSDB

Add the lines above to your .profile or .bash_profile depending on the shell you are using.
logout and login again.

Good luck.

Changed according to your variables. BTW, you can not SID more than 8 characters, which means that the name of your instance GLOBAL_CLUSDB01 is not your SID. So, try parameter with the name of the database as CLUSDB.

    Hi all

    I have a local database on my laptop. I connect to the database using direct connect without the listener and tnsnames.ora, because I stopped him.

    How can I connect my SQL Developer to the database using direct connect?

    Thank you

    Probably what he finds through explore paths such as path.

    If on Windows, via the path to the files of Oracle binaries, probably it will look 'default' ORACLE_SID HKLM\Software\Oracle\ "tone" and spawn then oracle.exe with the value of the SID as an argument.

    For a more definitive answer, we can wait until the documentation is being updated with the connection type "local". :)

    Go to the online documentation and discover the data dictionary. You may be interested in reading about ALL_TAB_COLUMNS, but you will need to know what you want until you can query the view to find information

  • How to connect a simulation on the design of controllers to DAQ card?

    Hi guys... I have problems about control and design on the way to the simulation I just do simulation PID and I can not to connect to the path of the simulation DAQ card in the control design (function)... can someone help me how to connect that?

    Ayubi,

    First of all, remember that the control and the Simulation has a PID in the Palette "control and Simulation > Controllers.

    Then, to connect to a data acquisition card, you must use the DAQmx interface is there to connect. In general, National Instruments recommends allows you to deploy a controller a real-time system, but most likely your Windows computer should be good enough for your application. Please see the example of the expedition (in 2013):

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2013\examples\Control and Simulation\Simulation\Real - time\DAQmx\RT PXI DAQmx single channel PID.lvproj

    If you don't have a LabVIEW Real - Time (RT), you can simply open the VI:

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2013\examples\Control and Simulation\Simulation\Real-time\DAQmx\DAQmx single channel PID.vi

    Remove the shared Variables in the code and he would be executed on a computer with a DAQ card.

    New connection PC Help!

    Hi, we are changing our IPS at Virgin (connection broadband) to the warehouse Utility (router wireless connection), but I can't work out how 'connect' my PC to the router. My wife has a laptop that is already running through the router. I tried the obvious options on the control panel to connect my PC, but have failed miserably! Any ideas, please!

    Connect the router to the computer by referring to the manufacturer's manual.

    Sqlplus username/pwd@servicename;

    You can find details of service name in file names tns instead of unix. If you are not able to find and then type cd $TNS_ADMIN at the prompt of unix command, then ls - lrt tnsnames.ora
    You can also cat this file to display.

    Create a database user has access SELECT through patterns. Then, use a Pool of single login with this user id and check the box to fully qualify table names, so that when the SQL generated it precede patterns correctly. You can create patterns according to the needs, and it will work fine.
