How to get the drivers and files lost after you have reinstalled Windows XP

Message: How to recover documents Word and Audio drivers after reinstalling Windows XP on the computer.

Operating system: Windows XP

Exactly how is that did you reinstall Windows.

Your "reinstall Windows" had formatting of the disk (i.e., a "clean install") or restore the computer to its state of "cost-of-the-factory '?  If so, your documents and other files are essentially disappeared (possibly recoverable at great expense by using a Drive Savers).

If you don't reformat or use a "recovery partition" (that is, you did a "repair" install), then it is possible that your data may be recoverable.  More you continue to use the computer, however, over the likelihood that the data is unrecoverable.

  • 2000-216NR HP: how to get the drivers and download the drivers for my laptop HP 2000-261NR?

I need to download all the drivers for my laptop HP original so that they can be reinstalled on a new hard drive.

The old hard drive has failed.  A new hard drive and Windows 7 64-bit OS have already been installed.

The HP manages Web site locks upwards in an endless loop when he says that it is looking for drivers.  It was almost an hour and he's still in the search with no results.

In the latest that we had to do is enter our model number and all the drivers available for download would be displayed.

    Why not the same now?

  • After you have reinstalled windows xp, I lost my audio devices of the system

I plugged in a new usb mouse and hub 4way in my computor screen went blue, wgen she is back on I had no control of the mouse. I plugged the old mouse, the screen was frozen. Ishut down and rebooted but nothing works. I reinstalled windows xp butnow I have not any showwing audio device connected. the motherboard is foxcom

You has not LOST the device if you have installed new XP Windows.  You simply do not have the device for device drivers, Windows XP can actually communicate with the device.

You will need to download and install all THE drivers for hardware devices.  Motherboard chipset, audio, video, networks, printers, scanners, cameras and so forth.

"Foxcom" tells us nothing and is only part of the story.  In order to get the drivers, you will need to know each device you have (or at least the make and model of the motherboard or computer as a whole.)

  • After you have reinstalled Windows, I am unable to install my Ethernet drivers

    original title: driver help

I reinstalled windows xp on my compaq.  My enternet driver does not update and has a yellow question mark in Device Manager.  What can I do about it?  I searched all over the internet and don't know what to do?

Find out what brand / model of the computer. Go to some site, look for the model. Download and then install the drivers for the chipset first, followed of LAN, sound. And all that is in this case.

Do not get the drivers of anywhere. You can find them in the one that makes the computer / motherboard / everything that is in this case.

In your case, they will be somewhere on the HP site . You must download on another computer first that ethernet works (the drivers are not installed, so you'll not on the net)

To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 ) tool
    Once saved, run the tool.

    Hello

Method 1: Download and install the Windows XP SP3 manually and see if it helps.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=24

Method 2: Perform operations from the links below and see if it helps.

Steps to take before you install Windows XP Service Pack 3

When you try to install Windows XP Service Pack, you receive the error message "Access denied" or "installing the Service Pack has not completed"

Important:  This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

    body in title...

    Hi gettaclue2002,

    · What is the service pack installed on your computer?

    · You have another outside Norton Security software?

    Try the methods below:

    1. I would say that you stop and start the service on the computer Security Center.

    a. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc in the Open box and then click OK.

    b. in the list of Services (Local), click on Security Center and then click Properties.

Make sure that you stop and start the service, then check if the problem persists.

    2. you can also uninstall and reinstall Norton Security software, and check the results.

Link, please refer to: download and run the Norton removal tool to uninstall your Norton product:http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20080710133834EN&ln=en_US

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

  • Unable to connect to the internet after you have reinstalled Windows

It came with Vista on it, but it is basically screwed up... There was no recovery disk... so I did a clean install with a XP disk... all right except that I can't get on the internet... In the OTHER DEVICES ethernet controller PCI device, PCI Modem, SM Bus controller, unknown device and video controller (VGA Compatible) are all highlighted with a yellow question mark... Try to find the driver with my son's computer, but everything I find says that there in an internet search... until this problem is fixed, I can't connect to internet... Help, please! Thank you!!

    Hi Dreman1970,

    ·         What is the brand and model of the computer?

Of yellow exclamation, PCI Modem and other devices Ethernet controller describes the drivers necessary for the device are missing.

I suggest you use another computer connected to the internet to find your manufacturer's Web site. Then you need to find the driver to download links for your computer model. Once you have downloaded the drivers, you can transfer them to your computer and install them. Once the drivers are installed, you will be able to connect to the internet.
