    Hello

I bought a Satellite A300 and I see in the workbook loads it is possible to add a 2nd hard drive. So I bought one and when I opened the box of hard drive, I have not found a connector to connect to my hard drive. I think I have to install a SATA connector, but I have not found a way to proceed.

    Thank you

PS: Excuse me if you find mistakes, I don't speak very well

    Hey,.

If there is no second SATA connector on the motherboard it s not possible to install 2nd HARD drive because you can t add such a motherboard connector.

As far as I remember there are other threads on A300 and 2nd drive HARD here in the forum and the point is that all A300 using the same case for laptop, but the mothers are different. So you can have a 2nd HARD drive Bay but not connector.

  • How to install and run a 2nd monitor

How to fix, install, or run a 2nd monitor of my laptop? Windows Vista

    Hello

Do not forget to check with your system manufacturer, the documentation online and the drivers and their
    Forums (if any).

Your laptop should have a video which will allow to another monitor be hung and more
the built in LCD. You then decide if you want that the monitors to display different
programs or be used as a large screen where you can move programs from one screen
    to the other.

Of course your system, a video camera and its drivers have to support with a 2nd monitor.

  • How to launch OR monitor in the 2nd PC?

    Hello, Chris,.

I just realized that I need a 2nd PC to run the monitor NOR with my Configurator running at the same time.

so I implemented PC2 and bought an another USB-8486. After you have installed the driver software and hardware.

I tried running CM in PC2, however, it gave me an error message saying that there is a conflict in the network.

Could I get some Idea how to launch the configurator and the monitor at the same time with two workstations?

Thank you, have a nice day!

    Johnny

    Hi John,.

I'm glad to hear you again.

First of all, let me give you the steps on how to use the monitor.
    1. start the utility of Configuration of Interface OR-FBUS.
    2. in the configuration window, select the port you want to configure, and then click Modify.
    3. Select monitor to use.
    4. click on the OK button.
    Your software is configured.

So to be clear, Configurator relies on the Communications Manager (CM). While Monitor is a separate software that does not rely on the CM in total.
To run the ICU, you should first close CM. And to run Configurator and monitor, you must configure the interface first.

For your application to run on the configurator and monitor at the same time, there are two solutions.
    1. you can run the configurator and monitor at the same time on the same laptop too. In this solution, you need two USB-8486 and configure one of them to monitor usage.

    2. just like you mentioned to run the configurator and monitor in two PC. Yet once, you must configure one of them to monitor usage.

And since the default address for the NOR-FBUS interface card is 16. If you did not change the address for the interface by default and run CM directly, which will have two same care address in the same network. That translates into the conflict.

Pleaes try again after configuration. Thank you.

Have a great day too! :-)

  • How/where to hook up 2nd monitor

I just got a new XPS 8700 with what appears to be TWO video - in ports, a DVI and a HDMI.  I use a configuration of two monitors with extended desktop view; a monitor has DVI, so I plugged into this port and it works fine.  The other monitor is old and has only VGA, so I bought a VGA--> HDMI adapter.  I guess this gets plugged into the video card HDMI port.

HOWEVER, there is another HDMI port, which is apparently a HDMI audio/video OUTPUT.  It makes no sense for the 2nd monitor into this port, because I don't mean to just output signal from the video card to a monitor/screen, but use TWO monitors at the same time and put in place the extended desktop view.

I'm a little confused by the existence of ports HDMI TWO, one on the video card (next to the DVI in), the other has a few inches apart.  There is also a display port, but I have no idea how to use. I don't want the top screw to the top of the machine or video drivers by plugging this old monitor in the wrong place.

All tips, suggestions, ideas, answers?  Thank you.

Yes, the configuration of your 2nd paragraph would be the correct way to do it. My only preference would be to connect the DVI monitor HDMI port with an adapter and plug the monitor VGA DVI port with the corresponding adapter.

If the HDMI to VGA is the 'decoder' then this configuration ^ ^ ^ would be much more profitable. The converter is usually at least $30 - $40, but the DVI to VGA and HDMI / DVI connectors can be acquired for around $15 - $20 for the pair.

As a manufacturer of computer I I would say that it does not matter if you connect your monitors with computer or offshore, but as a consumer on a Web site you need a guarantee of manufacture, I would say it would be the best idea ^_^

  • Help! How to install Design Standard 6 on my 2nd laptop?

I use the Design Standard 6 (Creative Suite 6) on my iMac a year,

had a second version on my macbook.

Now mackbook collapsed, I want to use my new Macbook Air as second computer on which I can work with Creative Suite.

But have n clue how to install it on my mackbook air.

I have no serial nr etc, just do not know how to do more.

    Help, please!

    Thank you, Léontine

    Hi Leontine1010,

A license to retail for Design STD CS6 is good to be used on 2 computers.

You can download the software from the direct download links available at: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html

But make sure you follow the steps mentioned on the page before you start the download.

You can then use the serial number, you need to activate the software.

In case you already used in the 2 machines and 1 unit crashed and you want to use it on a 3rd machine, then in this case, the number of licenses must be increased.

You must contact the Adobe (http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html ) Customer Service in order to increase the number of activations on the serial number.

You can even join our chat support at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6

Else give me the serial number and I'll do the necessary for you.

Send me a private message. Do not post it here.

  • I recently bought an Acer ATC Aspire TC-605-UB11 desktop computer; I need help setting up a 2nd monitor

Recently, I replaced my desktop with a new Acer Aspire TC-ATC-605-UB11 model. I moved the old system to the new video card (work), but I can't find a way to allow the 2nd video card. I know that sometimes there are BIOS settings that need to be addressed, but I don't see anything that looks like what I need.

A few details: the video material for my Acer is the Intel(r) HD Graphics 4600.

I am away from the system at the moment and do not remember the details of the video card inserted. I get that if requested.

I suspect that there is a framework to enable multiple monitors (I worked with before similar systems) or else the Acer does not simply another video card (maybe interruptions or other limited resources?). If this is the case, is there an option to use a USB "video card" instead?

    Thanks in advance for answers!

What is the model # of your graphics card you are trying to install?

What version of BIOS is installed on your computer?

The link below shows you how to use the mode and the clone desktop mode extended (for two monitors) with your HD4600 graphics supplied with your computer.

    http://www.Intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-031026.htm

Try to remove your video card and see if you can get the HD4600 to provide support for multiple monitors.  I have install 2 monitors with my TC-605.  A monitor is attached via HDMI and the other via VGA.

To check your BIOS version on the Windows 8.1, right click on the Start button, left click on 'run '.  Type msinfo32, and then click OK

  • I closed FF in my 2nd monitor, now it opens only, why?

I moved from the 2nd monitor into the primary and closed it there. I've deleted ALL the cookies/history, I erased the Sessions. Nothing seems to make open upward in one monitor. This happened once before and I didn't fly over to the correct monitor and shut up and it worked fine. This time, I can't do what he's supposed to do. I really want to open on the monitor one because I don't always have it and it's really annoying when it opens here and I think I'm always waiting for him.

It is quite common that the programs Windows remember the location of the last closed window. Can you drag to the monitor 1 and shut up there next time? I see that did not work.

Otherwise, you can rename or delete the file that stores these positioning information. Unfortunately, that will also clear your toolbar customizations. Here's how:

Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using

Help > troubleshooting information > "view file" button.

Switch back to Firefox and output

Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename localstore.rdf to something like localstore.old

Restart Firefox. Toolbars and the position of the window must be restored to the default.

(Theoretically, it is possible to edit localstore.rdf if you want to try that first, but the format seems not well documented).
