How to install vmware tools to a group of virtual machin?  or how to install vmware tools image to a group of virtual machin?

Hi dear all virtualization expert

are you know or have a solution for this?

It's important I

Hello

You can try something like this...

In vSphere client, choose display of virtual machines and templates.

From there create a folder unless you already have one and move the virtual machines in question in this case. (you can also select a host, it must not be a folder).

In the upper pane, select the virtual machines when you have selected the folder, or the host. You can select more than one virtual machine and right-click-> comments-> installation/upgrade to update VMware tools.

I hope this helps.

  • How to install the recovery image on Satellite Pro A300?

    I have a Satellite Pro A300 and I need factory reset. I learned from my teacher of computers there is a unknown virus on this subject. Apparently, it has been downloaded when I downloaded Malware bites. I got the laptop free of Set - BC because I muscle Handi-trophy and get tired of writing.

    My teacher told me that I need to Factory Reset, but when I got the laptop, she had everything installed on, (kurzwell, Chrome, etc.) so I don't have the disc to factory reset. In addition, the virus has disabled everything that has anything to do with the internet, (Chrome, for example, Firefox, Outlook, malware bites, etc.).

    Y at - it all means I have factory reset the laptop without the need of the disc.

  • How to delete a backup image of the computer?

    Last week I had to format my hard drive of the PC (I won't go into details, but a certain SQL Server 2008 SP1 was the culprit).

    I reinstalled Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit and spent 5 days to install my apps and all the updates of windows (SQL Server 2008 SP1, the exception ;-)).

    When I got the message saying that there is no update available, I made a full backup pc on my drive hard usb.

    A few hours later, Windows told me there was an update available: nothing less than Windows Vista SP1!

    So I downloaded the SP1 and installed.

    I didn't want to end up with two all backups of pc (I was sure that SP1 had produced changes to the massive file), so I deleted, from Windows Explorer, computer backup image file in my drive hard usb.

    When I ran "backup status and Configuration - backup of the computer", he said that, since there was already a complete pc upward in my drive hard usb (which is not true, I deleted it!), going to back up only new and changed files... I had no other choice, so I made the back up and found it was actually a partial upward (I can tell because the size of the backup, the original was almost 50 GB and the second one was 31 GB).

    I went on the MSDN forums and found I could do two things:

    (a) change the registry to remove all values full them pc backup keys.
    (b) format my USB HDD.

    I've done both. The second it took me almost all day today (copy + / 200 GB of my hard drive on my HDD to the PC, formatting the USB drive and copy back the +/-200 GB).

    When I tried to make my backup of the computer, it says "this computer has not been saved.

    I sighed and thought: "it was worthwhile, I will have as a backup of the computer!

    But no, it was not to be.

    When I arrived at the final stage before actually to support to the top of my pc, the program says "the backup can take up to 55 GB of disk space. "Because a previous backup until already exists... that the differences will be saved."

    It makes no sense at all... Did someone there with the knowledge of how to delete a backup image (for good) complete pc so a new (full, incremental) can be produced?

    I think that being able to add/remove the backup images is a core feature.

    Thank you for your help,

    Hi Sergio Torres,

    Sorry for the delay getting back to you.  I'll pass your program for better Assistant forum post since this is related to a set of program with Vista rather than a security/privacy issue.  We will track a little to the original problem that you can't get Windows backup to recognize the backup of the image has already been deleted and the need to create a new backup full rather than an incremental backup.  Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

    It's the MSDN article, you mentioned, correct?
    http://Channel9.msdn.com/posts/keithcombs/Windows-Vista-complete-PC-Backup-and-recovery/

    What you have done with success:
    1 / deleted the registry key related to Windows backup
    2 / use Disk Clean Up tool to remove the backup
    3 / appropriate and completely remove the WindowsImageBackup directory
    4 / format the USB all together.

    If you already completed these steps successfully, then the error will be with a setting in Windows that always store the old backup file list.  I found this suggestion in the newsgroup Vista, give it a shot to see how it goes.

    "Hi Tim,

    because the backup is deleted out of band - it is always saved in the backup catalog. This is because the application always displays the text that is incorrect.

    It will be first - come back to the full backup if the previous version is not available on the backup location. It is only the user interface that notifies badly as I mentioned above.

    If you want the application to forget * all * older backups - you can launch a high command prompt. type the command line-
    WBADMIN delete catalog.

    Hello

    I would like to know how I can include multiple images in one frame in movie maker?

    It would be useful to know exactly what you want to create.

    You can prepare the images in an image editing program
    before you import into Movie Maker.

    Picasa free software can make collages:

    OK, I was interested in how do you extract the image of myself, I gave you just a generalization of what to do. I wrote a 'fast' service and dirty.                 continue;
            }
            fs.reset();
            continue;
        }
        if (imageData != null)
        {
            //We found the image
            if(mimeType != null && mimeType.length() > 0)
            {
                //Save some time in searching for image type
                return net.rim.device.api.system.EncodedImage.createEncodedImage(imageData, 0, imageData.length, mimeType);
            }
            else
            {
                return net.rim.device.api.system.EncodedImage.createEncodedImage(imageData, 0, imageData.length);
            }
        }
        //No image found
        mimeType = null;
        return null;
    }

    The sample code I used was:

    try
    {
        javax.microedition.io.file.FileConnection file = (javax.microedition.io.file.FileConnection)javax.microedition.io.Connector.open(path, javax.microedition.io.Connector.READ);
        if(file.exists())
        {
            java.io.InputStream fs = file.openInputStream();
            long pos = 0L;
            long length = file.fileSize();
            String mime = "";
            net.rim.device.api.system.EncodedImage image = getID3Image(fs, pos, length, mime);
            fs.close();
        }
        file.close();
    }
    catch(Exception e)
    {
    }

    Just the value of 'path' and an image will be returned.

    Edit: Added an if statement that changed value Boolean ver2. Also the length and the position probably don't matter, but it was just for safety, but I says that it can decode the description with UTF-16, the javadoc for 4.7.0 (the version I made and tested with) said that he supports of UTF-16 (Big Endian), but does not specify if Big Endian UTF-16 (not) is supported. Finally, a few points of optimization could be:

    • remove the descriptions (don't know not 100% if they determine if it is album art, the logo of the Publisher, etc.)
    • remove the image type (variable picType)
    • remove the minor version
    • change (if you decide to keep) "get byte" code description image so just realize that the bytes and let Java take care to get the bytes (as what the code for the type MIME)
    • replaceing the MIME parameter with a StringBuffer type so that you can get the MIME type when the function returns.
    • remove the "if(majorVersion == 2)" block because ver2 is set to true already and does not need to be redefined.

    Edit 2: Fixed a quick Oops, also found this which sets the value type (variable picType) image:

    • X 00 other
    • x 01 32 x 32 pixels 'file icon' (PNG only)
    • x 02 other file icon
    • X 03 cover (front)

    Hello

    Are you referring to the feature Aero Peek in Windows 7?

    You can use Aero Peek to take a quick look at other open windows without clicking away from the window you are currently working. For more information, see Preview an open window on the desktop using Peek.

    You may experience this problem if PEAK Aero is disabled on the computer.

    If you can not see the effects of glass window, or if you are unable to use Aero Peek and Aero Shake, use the Aero troubleshooting tool to diagnose and fix the problem automatically.

    You can also go to the Control Panel - Performance and options (find it by typing in the search box) - and set for the "look better".

    I hope this helps. If you need help with Windows, let us know and will be happy to help you.

  • How to create the ISO image of windows 8 with the help of boot, efi, sources, and support files

    Hello
    I followed folders in my USB key:

    Boot
    EFI
    Sources
    Support,

    and the following files:

    Setup
    Bootmgr.EFI
    Bootmgr

    How can I create an ISO image of windows 8 with the help of these files and folders. I even installed ADK, but I couldn't keep up with it.
    I would be very grateful if someone could help me out here.

    Secondly, I would also like to know how to create a system image of WINDOWS 8, where the hard drive breaks down.

    Concerning
    MAK

    If you have the upgrade key, go here

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

    You can go for the use of win8 / win7 / vista to match highlights you want - and download the win8 installation and run the installation with your key to download you need to install windows from that.  Will allow you to have an iso bootable.

    Make a picture of the control panel system / Windows 7 file recovery / system Image.  I certainly wouldn't put it on dvd.  It will be too.   Find an old preference portable hard drive and buy a $ 20 usb box, get an external hard drive.

    Hi drewdollar,

    If you have Acrobat, you can use the text tool change & Images in the content pane edition of the tools Panel. Simply select Edit Text & Images and then drag the image where you want it to appear on the page.

    1. Go to file > new > empty file. Enter the size, the color of background in function. For resolution, it is better to have the same value as the image. For printing, it is desirable to have the resolution in the range 240-300px/in, although I printed below this range.
    2. Open the file with paint. Use one of the selection tools, for example the selection brush, lasso tool and select the image.
    3. Go to Edition > copy
    4. Open the empty file
    5. Choose Edition > paste. The selection comes on its own layer
    6. Use the move tool to position and resize (if necessary) with the corner of the frame handles encompassing.
