How to reconnect my drive under Windows8?

I did a cleanup routine on my computer & it removed several of my applications of windows & dell which came on my computer, not something that I downloaded. He has also deleted my app to work. While I was trying to get these restored, I came across the problem that my drive had been removed/disconnected...whatever! I have no idea how it occurred. I do not anything to remove this drive. I need help or need to know who is able to solve this problem. Computer technology can correct something like that? I know a computer expert or two. Most importantly, is this repairable?

Hi Allan,

Sorry for the late reply.

I understand that you are unable to reconnect to your drive of history files.

This problem can be caused if the player in the history of file is interrupted or disconnected for a long time.

To resolve the problem with the disconnected drive in the history of files, you can follow the article below and check the issue.

What happens if something is wrong in the history of the files? (Refer to the section reconnect the drive.)

Please give us a brief description of the problem, so that we can help you.

Hello!.. How can I install a second operating system on a partition on the same hard drive under xp?... Thanks in advance!

With the elders the older operating systems, in this case 98, has prior installation.

Is that of Vista as soon as it does not matter what operating system is installed first to do a dual boot.

With Vista, you can then install XP as the second installed the operating system in a dual boot.

But this isn't like you do is 98 or XP...

How files are disconnected and how to reconnect all?

The files are disconnected when you move, rename or delete these files (or files that contain) outside of Lightroom. Under Windows, this can also happen if the photo files are on an external drive and drive letter changes.

If you have moved the photos, the best way to reconnect to them is to bring back them to their previous location.

Otherwise, you must use the file-> to reconnect.

It would be useful that someone could tell me why Firefox only seems to have a problem.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using the methods above
It is preferable to ensure that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are located)

  • CentOS6.7 under Windows8.1 translates into a corrupt installation

Using installation media for CentOS6.7 under Windows8.1 results in installation corrupted.

I do anything special and have tried a few combinations of parameters with the installers and always end upward with an unbootable system.

While it seems like the file system thinks that its not corrupt the files themselves are filled of ^ @ (0x00).

    My steps are;

    1. the vm Installer

    2. start the installation media and install (net, LiveDVD, bin-DVD)

< often the final judgment does not work correctly >

    4 restart or reboot

3 yum install emacs-> Somtimes I get messages about the problems ELF header in several libraries at this point that the image is corrupted

    4 reboot

5 yum update--> at this point, it seems to take place but reset result in corruption and the inability to start

Same image works well on a Windows 7 laptop older with VMWare Player 7.

I still have to try VMWare Workstation

    Anyone tried this yet?

    See you soon,.

    Luke

Initially, I misunderstood the fix as being "comparability of material" in "Workstation 6, 5-7.x".

After some time, I started to see the corruption of files, just different default sets of installation.

Also tried CentOS6.6 and it also seems to have problems.

I also tried CentOS7 and there is not corruption that it did not immediately appear.

I also tried Windows7 + installation default and these images had no problem either

However I have no widely check or the other of these configurations for a long time, so its not conclusive.

However it turns out that he could in fact be to move on to the "LSI Logic SAS" + drive "combo" "SATA" rather than the versions supported.

Again I am now able to "yum update" and "yum install" without having random DB corruption or file corruption.

But it may be corrupt files are now doesn't not part of the main set of BONES used for are non-detectable, I'll wait and see.

Given that the threshold for sectors reassigned on this player is 36 (until he comes in and mark it as a failed disk) and 13 of them have been used in such a life short (less than 300 hours), I think the HARD drive in this book can be considered to be defective.

Would Toshiba share my view and replace the drive under warranty, or what I should expect some sort of catastrophic failure before going through the motions?

As a side note, Toshiba does not seem to be recognizing the serial number of this laptop, which is strange.

Thanks a lot for any input,

    Gareth

What you read here on this forum are of different opinions, but what you need is the real answer, and you can get it from Toshiba service only guys.
They can check your HARD drive and replace it if necessary.

Make a call, explain the situation and hear what they think of this.

What you need to do every day is the backup of data.

  • How to install the driver LAN for Satellite Pro A120

In fact, my problem is that I didn't know how to install the driver on my Satellite Pro A120 lan connect net throug.
The issue that there's no facility to do to complete the installation.

And theres other question that I need the Ethernet controller

My laptop was vista operating system installed, but I change and put Windows XP

    Please help me

    Hello

    LAN installation is very easy.
First of all, you need the correct LAN driver.
In order to download the LAN driver please visit the Toshiba driver page and choose your model of laptop.

Once the LAN driver has been downloaded, you will need to decompress.
Then you will need to access the Device Manager, choose the controller Ethernet (network cards) and must point to the place where the LAN driver was decompressed.

    Then finish the installation procedure.

I think the disk replacement procedure is very similar to replacements on other laptops.
To remove the STRANGE bay module follow these steps:

    1. turn the computer.
    2. remove the black binding screws.
3 turn the computer over and open the display.
    4. push the module bay ODD.

All that s. It s not achieved with a screw.

  • P10-804: driver under XP Pro SP1 installation problem

Had a hard drive crash, so I had to reinstall everything and decided to abandon the XP home to XP Pro.
    I have download all the drivers from this site (following options: laptop product type;) Family by Satellite; Series of products P; Model P10; Xp Pro operating system. Driver type Country UK. Language English;
Install Xp and then set about installing the drivers.
Unfortunately, many of them produce a message "can not be installed on this system.

    More precisely:
Touch Pad on / off says "cannot install this version of the key we / Off utility to your system.
Management of the Bus system says "integrated the SM bus driver is not compatible with cards of Bus SM installed on your system"
Standby power controls said 'Impossible to install this version of the Toshiba Power utility by integrating your system'
and there was another which I don't remember.

Therefore, the device manager tells me that
Other devices: device Base system; SM Bus controller. and (USB) Universal Serial Bus controller do not installed the drivers.

Why the these drivers are not compatible with my system?
Where can I get the proper drivers from?

    TFAI

PS: And in addition, is not at all clear how to install the driver for the SD memory card (there is no .exe)

    Hello

    First of all something about the installation of the reader;
You need not always all .exe files for installing the driver. If the setup.exe is not available, you must install the drivers in Device Manager. There, you have to choose the device and install the driver.

I m not 100% sure why you can not install the drivers but it is very important that you need to install drivers in the correct order. The chipset driver must be installed at the beginning.
Also, I noticed that there are several driver updates. For example of the Touchpad, utility, energy saving, etc., you must use the right version. (latest version)?

Also check the update of Microsoft Windows XP SP2 fact sheet.

    Good luck
