  • How to remove or delete profiles redundant network (names) of my office and laptops running Windows 7?

With Verizon DSL modem in bridge and as a router Linksys WRT 160N, my desktop and laptop computers have been in a network.  Laptop computer and printer via wireless and desktop wired.  The name of the network used to be the same for all connected devices.  However, when my Linksys gave the soul about a week ago, I reconnected it via the Verizon Actiontec WRT704G modem/router combination and since I could not print from the laptop, and it takes about 5 minutes to print 2 pages of my office.  The network name on my desktop by default automatically to the network 4, and on the laptop, there '2' after the former name of network.  With different network names, I couldn't set up my home group.  But I have access to the internet on both computers.  The network name (SSID) on the site config the router and the printer is the same: the former name of the network without the '2'.

I need help or advice on how to clear or remove these other network names and have just 1 network name for all connected devices.  I know that in Vista, you can merge or remove network profiles but can't seem to find a way to do this under Windows 7.  Also, my laptop is Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit and the Office on Home Premiun 64 bit.

    Thank you

  • How to remove old computers outside the network

renamed my computer on the network, and now the former name and the new name are visible in 'network '.
Of course I can only access my last 'name', but how can I remove the old computer?

    Hi ninjahomy,

Thank you for using Microsoft Windows forum.

Your computer is on the field ?

If it's on the field , then get in touch with: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/category/w7itpro, windowsvistaitpro, windowsxpitpro /

If this is not the case, there are 3 methods to remove it.

    Method 1:

You can remove the old power off computers network on your router/modem, which will have a list of home computers > Home Network > Display Devices. Hit the set up on this screen allows you to delete the old computers from the list.

    Method 2:

Another method to try is to clear the DNS cache:

    1. click on start

    2. open the administrator mode command prompt and type "ipconfig/flushdns", and restart.

    Method 3:

Have you tried to reboot server from a cold start? Cold start
turned off, unplugged, power cable means not only the computer switch
off, for at least 30 seconds, a minute or more is better.

All computers OFF, removal of tension (pull the plug if you have to; not of power
depend on the power switch; It's not always really 'off').

Wait 30 seconds or more. Turn on the server machine. Let boot completely.

    Then:

Do a restart of the server computer, you just start. It's just insurance,
    sort of a fail-safe action.

Now power on other machines. the list has to rebuild properly.
    EMI at least.

If you have problems with GROUPS, I think that can be deleted. Or
renamed, all that is necessary. Remember, each machine needs a group and the
the same group, to include IN a group.

    HTH
    Pop'

This list should be be rebuilt every time that the computer starts, if if
There is nothing here to identify the missing machines, they should not be
    display upwards.

    Hope this has helped

  • Satellite M45-S265 - how to remove file system WiFi?

This Machine of M45-S265 has Intel Pro/Wireless BG network connection.
The driver installed is only intel Version 9.0.4.39 12\19\2007 dated

So I want to "completely" uninstall this driver from the system.
Go through Device Manager and simply ask to uninstall does not completely uninstall.

Because as soon as it updates it will reinstall the same file from a cache somewhere in the system.
So, how can I completely uninstall such a driver of the machine?

Can someone answer this for me? Thank you very much.

    Hello

In Device Manager, you can check were the WLan driver file has been installed and the way in which it is called.

Choose the card WLan-> properties-> tab driver-> Driver Details

You will see the path and how the driver files are called.
Go to this folder, and then delete it.

  • How to remove file Hello and solve network problems?

whenever I turn on my pc, I have to wait 1 minute then I must remove the Ethernet cable and then put back again to the internet at work, I think it's because Hello, if it is can someone please, if it's not, can someone please tell me what they think it is. Thank you very much.  :)

Hello is one of the 6 programs that are installed automatically when you install iTunes.  I have not heard of Bonjour causing the problem you describe (but I have not studied that so it may actually be a common problem with it).  You can uninstall Hello from the control panel > uninstall a program in the same way that you would like to uninstall any program - but who can create other problems with Apple devices if you have one.  Another alternative would be to disable it temporarily by clicking on start > all programs > administrative tools > Configuration system and then go to the Services tab and remove the check mark next to Hello and restart your computer to see if you still have the problem.  You re-enable Hello in the system similar to the way Configuration which you the disabled.

    Thank you!

To remove a computer from the network, simply disconnect from the network.

When you look under "My Network Places", computers, you see, there are computers that are known to the browser 'Master', which is a one computer on your network that monitors the comings and goings of computers on the network and sends a list whenever a computer asks.   If a computer suddenly disappears out of the network, it may take up to 15-20 minutes before the main Explorer realized he went and automatically deletes it from the list.  When a computer was delivered on the network, it announces and returns to the list.

Failed to connect to a computer see you there is quite another thing.  It's one thing for a computer to announce his presence, it's another to accept an incoming connection from another computer.  Most of the failures in this category are due to firewalls or sharing / permissions on the computer (server) target.

If you don't want to see a computer on the network, then change its network name to end with a dollar sign ($) and it will not be displayed on the network.

I don't know exactly what you're doing and why, so if it does not respond to your question, please provide more details.

    HTH,
    JW
