  You can have as much as you want, just your applications should have different names or URLs and point to a specific database (using data sources).

  Let me start by describing my requirement.
  
  I would like the latitude and longitude of some given postcodes via Google/Yahoo API geocoding.
  
  I can run something like this

  in my web browsers URL bar and I receive the latitude and the data lonitude code postal (7HT SW1X United Kingdom in this example).
  
  Since I was a little postcoes to get the data for, I like to store postal codes of entry in a table and write a PL/SQL function/procedure that executes this code in a loop.
  
  How to run this command inside PL/SQL and how should I store the value returned by the HTTP command above?

  I want to run three instruments simultaneously on the same schema. One is a control position for linear drives, other is an optical micrometer and the third is a digitizer card. When using tabs of the controls, the linear actuator Vi is the only thing that seems to work (confirmation on the front panel) but the optical micrometer show no indication on the front panel, but runs in background. I used a tab control to consume less space on the front panel. Someone can help me solve this problem where I can carry several bolts on a single diagram and could even see on the front panel.   I can't open your VI, but in general; Either you use a loop with all the instruments in the same loop, or separate loops each with no wires between them that forces the execution order. You have none of this?

  Tab control is purely visual, and has nothing to do with the execution.

  When a report region runs a query on a remote database via a database link, how long the link remains open in the APEX? Usually the database links get closed the dedicated session ends, but I don't know when this happens at the APEX.

  Request Express does not any explicit action to close links to the database at the end of a request.

  Currently I have two servers each with an oracle database, each of them is running apex and offers a package that people use to interact with data through Web pages.

  I want to merge these two servers into one to save on costs, which means that 1 Server 1 database... with 2 packets of the apex. Is this possible? I guess I would need to export/import the whole package and to migrate database schema, but I will say a default package a schema and a single default package to another scheme? I don't understand workspaces so maybe that's where the question is rooted.

  APEX applications are similar/different?

  You can do the following:

  • Import the schema (data) of base2 in database1.
  • You can associate multiple schemas to a workspace. For example, you can associate the schema imported into your workspace (in database1).

  • Then, you can export the APEX of base2 workspace application and import this request to the workspace from base1.
  • Access the newly imported application. Change the attributes of the Application -> Security-> database Session and define the Schema of the analysis to the newly imported schema.

• HOWTO disable a button within the APEX?

  This may seem like APEX for Dummies, but I currently have a problem with presenting a plain old HTML in the APEX in mode button disabled (not clickable). In HTML, this is no problem when you use 'disabled', but in the APEX, it does not work because the apex"disabled =" off "disabled".

  I did something very similar recently (and to be honest, the methodology is very close to what Riedelme suggested already):

  (1) create an item hidden in the area containing the keys to be turned off (make sure it's AFTER the buttons you want to disable)
  (2) in the message text of the element element field, enter Javascript to disable the button (s) - for example:
  
  (3) set the conditional display of this point on the result of a PL/SQL function returns BOOLEAN - in this case, it would be your authorization feature, or whatever. Or you can use regardless of the conditional formula meets your configuration.

  In this way, every time this hidden item is loaded i.e. authorization fails for example, the javascript code snippet will be loaded and executed, and your buttons will be disabled!

  Assuming you are using Apache?

  You can place your Word documents in the same folder as your current Apex images directory (or a subdirectory it) and then reference them with a URL of the form http://yourserver/i/sample_word_file.doc. Alternatively, you can add a new Alias entry to your dads.conf file (located in your Apache/modplsql/conf directory) to expose the folder on your Web server that contains your Word via a URL like http://yourserver/word_docs/ files

  For example

  /Word_docs/ alias "c:\my_docs\technical_word_docs/".

  I have an application with built in authentication of the function table. When a person logs in their username and password is simply compared to the values of a user table to determine if they can use the application. The authentication table is in the same schema as the application.
  
  The Apex application is in a schema called DLR_INV. All the tables used by the application, but one is in that same pattern. The table in another schema is used to retrieve the status codes for a LOV.
  
  The user receives an error when the page opens, the error is on the State LOV. My DBA and another Oracle developer to determine what the problem is. Is there a synonym above the state table which should provide access. The DBA can connect through SQL Developer as DLR_INV and access the status table.
  
  What could be the problem?
  
  One question - given the way the authentication of the application is set up - when a person signs this schema/user are they connected as?

  I don't see the privilege to 'select' on XX_BMC_DLRINV.MS_US_STATES? Your APEX application schema needs grants 'live' on the objects he needs to access. Privileges gained through roles will not be recognized.

• How to run windows (vista, 7), during the night, or during any period of time and do not have to worry it restart itself.

  Windows Update will restart when the changes are applied.  I understand why.  However, when I do not use windows, which is relatively rare, and the specific task, I often run long processes.  Windows will reboot the machine by force regardless of what I'm doing at the time.  I guess if you are electronic control or Watch youtube, its not that big of a deal, but when it stops at Midway for a night process, its quite frustrating.

  I had turned off the windows update service, so I guess that takes care of things, or is there another process that verifies that the windows update is running and restarts it?  Thoughts?  Even if restarting is intentional, the fact that a modern operating system will turn off when it receives a message from the mother ship is quite disturbing (beat tone comes from the fact that I'm a nerd of linux.  Sorry).

  Does do the same if you run the query itself in SQL * Plus with the same value you pass as a parameter?
