How to run without Windows DVD recovery

Hiya,

I just lost my windows vista DVD and now just format the C drive. But I saw there are still available on the drive D. can recovery drive please tell me how to run recovery or restore the origional windows vista again.

Thank you very much

Hello

You will need to contact the system manufacturer's support, as each has its own methods of restoration.

Also they will sell you the Vista DVD at low cost since you already Windows. Know you
need the code produced so if you do not then discuss with them. Sometimes the
product code is located on the computer or included with the paperwork.

I hope this helps.

  • How to make a windows vista recovery partition

Hi I have a windows vista desktop computer and I need to do a recovery partition. There is currently no a. How can I make one? My computer has slowed down at the stop and I need recovered

    Hello

You can't do a recovery Partition.

A recovery partition is copied onto your hard drive from the computer manufacturer at their factory.

If you do not have to purchase recovery disc are to make sure that you do not have alreasdy have a recovery hard disk Partition?

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

  • Windows 8 How to recover without a recovery USB disk or a disc?

Hello, about a month ago, I rebooted my computer in windows 8, caused by viruses, and I did it without creating a recovery on a USB drive. Also, I bought the computer from best buy so I have not received a disc of 8 recovery of 64-bit Windows is restarted. Trying to repair and restart, the computer turns on, but head to the blue menu screen and tells me that I am missing the drivers. Is it possible that I can download a recovery on a different computer from windows disk 8 and use it to mine? If this does not work, is there a way to download a recovery on the windows site drive? Thanks I hope you can answer my questions.

Most computers come with an internal partition on them with the recovery information.  This allows you to go back to "factory fresh" conditions, as a new installation.

How to go to you it's different on different computers.  My Sony Vaio all-in-one PC that I got from BestBuy last year with Windows 8, has a small pin hole I have to press with a paper clip to enter recovery mode.

If this does not work (or your computer does not have this option), you will need a recovery disk.  The recovery discs are unique to the computer, so you should get from the manufacturer.

I helped a friend a few weeks ago and Dell sent him a DVD disc of free recovery, the next day Fed - ex.  But my Sony Vaio here, (which just returned after the internal hard drive field itself of pasta), Sony wanted me to pay 60 million dollars for a CD. I can't use anyway because this computer has no CD drive (then they were told to go buy a lol... but that's another story).

My recommendation or you is so ask the manufacturer or get with BestBuy.  In my case, because the computer has been less than a year when this Vaio hard drive died, BestBuy geek squad made replacement under warranty on it for me, free.  I had no recovery either by car (although it would not have helped because the internal hard disk was physically dead).

When I came back today, do you think better :), I created a recovery USB disk
