The laserjet 1020 has only manual duplexing capabilities. Please refer to this document for a full set of instructions.

  • Scanning both sides of the Mac procedure please

Hello, I bought a MFP HP LaserJet PRO M477fdw.

Scanning on one side is OK but the printer is supposed to be able to do duplex scanning. I is not this function in the system preference--> printer & Scanner. In HP Easy Scan, there is a duplex option, but even I've chosen, hit the scan button on the side as a single scanned computer. Someone knows how to scan both sides at the same time?

Please try scanning with HP Easy Scan by doing the following:

Open HP Easy Scan and then open the menu Presets in the presets menu, define the type of Document and the source as document feeder, then check the box to scan both sides.

    Kind regards

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610: Scanning both sides of the computer does not not on officejet pro 8610

    Hello

    Help, please!

Set up: Officejet Pro 8610 connected wireless for HP laptop Windows 10.

Mission: I have 10 A4 sheets with stuff on both sides. I want to scan every 20 faces and save them on my laptop in the right order.

I would like to do this automatically thought IE the automatic document feeder.

I use scan options HP Scan and Capture software in document settings

I select the source to be "heavy feeder" and duplex scan (if available) option I select '2 Facer.

Although this force the 8610 take the original since the ADF doc it's only one side.

    That's the problem!

Also if I use the HP Officejet Pro HP printer Assistant, if I select the radio button for the front and back, once its done scanning side 1 of the document it asks me to take the originals and put them in the feeder to make the other side. The scans are then coming out in the wrong order!

I bought this printer so I could do it, but can't make it work. I want to cry. Help, please.

    Thank you

    Hello

The HP Officejet Pro 8610 does not support scanning duplex automatic, that the more advanced of this series models supports a such (8620 & 8630 models)

You can find the printer specifications listed below:

Breeze through multipage documents with automatic two-sided scanning and the 50-page auto document feeder (for 8620/8630 only).

    http://www.HP.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press_kits/2014/OJPro/OfficejetPro8610_8620_8630.PDF

You can only perform this manually with your printer model, I suggest to use the HP scanning software.

If the analysis is delivered in the wrong order, try to install and use the HP extended Scan application and check differences:

    FTP://FTP.HP.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

    Hope that helps,

  • How can I view more than one document at a time?

I had an upgrade for some reason yesterday, and now I can see only one document at a time? I need to be able to view more than one side by side?

With the new updates, Acrobat Reader uses default interface with tabs (like most browsers).

To view two documents side by side in different windows (rather than the different tabs), just drag a tab out of the window of the player and it should become a new window!

If you want to permanently disable the interface to tabs, you can uncheck "Open documents as new tabs in the same window" in the General preferences (go to Edition |) Preferences).

  • How to combine multiple PDFs into one document?

A printer told me some time ago when I bought a few things, I can combine PDF files into one pdf. Can someone tell me how you do it, and do this with pdf that are the size of the different documents? I'm an invitation, program, cards and certificates for an awards ceremony, and wanted to know if I can combine all my pdf in a big pdf, even if they are all of different sizes.

    Thanks for any help!

Even easier in Acrobat 9 (have nothing installed earlier to check): file > combine > merge files into a single PDF file...

You must have a full version of Acrobat, possibly Pro, player not only.

  • M725 MFP - how to scan multiple pages in a document?

We have a customer who just installed M725 MFP for which we have set up the folder option analysis - their old machine used to scan to TIFF and want to scan multiple pages into a single file, is there a way to get the new HP device for it? Is it as simple as scanning to PDF rather than TIFF?

    Any suggestion would be appreciated!

HI, yes it is pretty simple.

While scanning please select the file type to PDF and CHOSEN to use for the scan. All pages will be analyzed to 1 single file.

  • How can I move pages from one document to the other without merger of paragraph styles?

I want to create a singular indesign file of 2 separate documents, which allows me to make an interactive PDF of it.

However, when you move pages from one to the other, it seems that when each document has a paragraph style with the same name, they merge. The problem is that text is then adjusted if the styles do not match completely.

Is there a way to merge the documents without any formatting changes?

Create a Style group in each document and move all styles in this file. Give each document a different name. Do it with all kinds of styles: paragraph, character, objects, tables and Cell Styles. Then you can sort them later in the merged document what you do with these styles.

Hi, I have a Mac and it is updated to the latest version, and I have the hp deskjet 2540. I wonder how to change print settings to double-sided. I have looked everwhere and tried everything. Help, please.

    Amberana, welcome to the forum.

According to the information I found on the printer it does not print double-sided or front / back as it is called.

  • I try to print a double-sided pdf file: how to make both sides the same way up?

Whenever I have a pdf file of several pages that I want to print two-sided I have this problem.  No matter what settings I choose, the second page out backwards compared to the first.  Sometimes when I print front too, but of course it's okay then!  The parameter "flip on long/short side" doesn't seem to do anything at all: is it just me or someone else has this problem?

    Hi MaryBCarpenter,

Please download the latest Adobe Reader XI of the below mentioned URL and test the behavior.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8620: One side scanning instead of both sides

Whenever we scan with the printer using ADF, ALWAYS scan both sides of the document. We want to scan only ONE side, but we cannot find any setting switching on both sides for only one party to scan. It's very frustrating because whenever we scan, we have the right page and one white. We use Adobe Acrobat and driver scan TWAIN of the model.

Is it possible to set up the printer we want?

    Best,

    JM

    Hi @keyser2015,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see you try to do a side scan instead of the two sides, with your HP Officejet Pro 8620 on Windows 10. And I'm happy to help you!

Each scanning program, has their own features. I'm not familiar with the use of Adobe Acrobat, so it is possible the functionality are not available in this particular scanning program. If you need help on the use of Adobe Acrobat, I would say to contact our Support from Adobe, for assistance.

In the meantime, I suggest try using HP Scan instead and see if the option is available on the main screen to choose scan front side. If you have trouble with the HP scanning program, please try our HP print and Scan Doctor, to see if it can automatically solve the problem for you!

Hope this information is useful and thanks for posting!
