How to set the low-pass analog input (smoothing) on my DAQ configuration filter?

I read the following of the PXI-6251 manaual:

"On some devices, the cut-off is fixed. On other devices, this filter is programmable and can be switched to a lower frequency. For example, the hardware OR of the 628 x have a programmable filter with a cutoff frequency of 40 kHz that can be activated. »

It does not explain how you know this value. So, I have the following questions:

1. How will I know what the cutoff freq is on my device?

2. How do I know if its programmable?

3. how this program if it is programmable?

I use the PXI-6251 in conjunction with the PXI-1031.

Thank you very much.

The PXI-6251 has no anti-aliasing/programmable filter. Bandwidth (-3 dB) small signal from the 6251 is 1.7 MHz.You will find these information in the specifications manual.

If you need a filter, you must add the signal conditioning yourself.

The 628 x M high precision tips are the only cards of the series M 'programmable' low pass filter. Check this KB for more details.

I hope this helps.

  • How to set the lower screen resolution on HP Pavilion

    I'm trying to figure out if its possible to lower my screen resolution of 800 x 600 on my HP Pavilion Sleekbook 14 - b010us running on Windows 8. I need to do that; It is the only way that I can get my pico projector to run using VGA to HDMI - I tried it with my Sony VAIO and it works perfectly. The lowest setting that I see on my HP is 1024 x 768, and it does not work. Any help? Don't want to have to buy a new projector - this one works very well and the HP laptop has a VGA port

    I came across this same issue using the resolution option custom in the Intel driver manager and has had success using mode low resolution.  I had also edited the registry to force more options.  The registry change which resulted in several resolutions between 1366 x 768 and 1024 x 768, but nothing lower.  Windows 8 is not really designed for lower resolutions (at least, which is not the ideal targeted resolutions), so I guess that would be present on any standard notebook Windows 8.

    However, I have relevΘ this site today to make sure I wasn't overlooking anything... and it seems that I was.  I don't know how I didn't have to check the option advanced settings for more resolutions.  This approach does not require mode low resolution to restart, but it's going to require a screen resolution > avancΘs > list all modes to get 800 x 600 option each time you need.

    Let me know if this has answered your questions.

  • Filter low pass analog (anti-aliasing filter) external to the NI USB 6251 housing

    Hello everyone!

    -I m trying to acquire an analog signal of tension (high frequency content) using a connected to an edge NI USB-6251 BNC-2110. I learned in this Labview Forum that NI USB-6251 has no analog low-pass filter programmable (or anti-aliasing filter), so that I can't help but jitter when scanning my signals. For my application, the cutoff frequency of the analog low-pass filter must be equal to 100 kHz or MORE (maximum of 500 kHz). A possible solution to solve my problem, would be to work with an external analog low-pass filter before you scan the voltage signal. Based on this I'd like to know:

    (1) national Instruments develops analog external filters? I need a filter which also has one output, analog, so that I could send also the low-pass analog filter filtered signal to my NI USB-6251 box to scan correctly it!

    (2) what model of external low pass filter would be compatible with the NI USB-6251 housing?

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    Best regards!

    Hello

    all high resolution of the M series (628 x) cards are equipped with a filter low pass which can be enabled or disabled programmatically. For the anti-aliasing filter feature, examine the boards of National Instruments DSA (dynamic signals Acquisition) acoustic and vibration measurement
    currently the NOR 9221, 9225, 9227, 9229, 9233, 9234, 9235, 9236, 9239 and 9237 C Series modules feature anti-aliasing filters. These modules are intended for the high accuracy measures for which anti-aliasing filters are a necessity.

  • How to set the voltage on a 3.3 volt NI 9237 module?

    Hello

    How to set the voltage on a 3.3 volt NI 9237 module?

    The voltage is now at 2.5 volts.

    This is my first time with this camera.

    This set of MAX or are there jumpers?

    I want the value of the excitation voltage at 3.3 Volts and do not change.

    The NI 9237 is a NEITHER cDAQ-9172.

    Thank you

    Bill

    Hi POBA,.

    This can be set to your programming environment.  For example, LabVIEW Signal Express, a task of MAX, or a DLL call in a text-based environment.  You want to create a strain, tension Custom with excitement, or any bridge based task in any environment.

    "" "In MAX, right-click on your device and choose create a task" acquire signals "analog input"...

    "" "In LabVIEW, place a DAQ Assistant" acquire signals "analog input"...

    "" "In Signal Express, add a step for Acquire" DAQmx Acquire"analog input"...

    In any C language based, you will want to call a function such as: DAQmxCreateAIVoltageChanWithExcit, DAQmxCreateAIStrainGageChan, DAQmxCreateAIBridgeChan

    You can then specify the Source of Exictation to be internal to 3.3V.

    Thank you very much for your help, if necessary.

    Quite a few questions, send, but I will do what I can to answer them.

    I recommend first to buy a router, even if it's one you won't connect to internet and it network with others your PC and printer. This will give you the best features and the results of what you're trying to do.

    In addition, the automatic stop of the printer function can be disabled and is not affected by the type of connection. Usually, you can go through the configuration Menu and select tools to change the options there on the energy saving features.

    Finally, the auto off function on your computer is a Windows question, but one easy answer. If you're on a laptop, you can right click on the battery in the tray (lower right corner) and change the settings for energy conservation.

    You might be better off installing the printer via the USB cord and alternately inspiring when you use it, but which is not optimal if you are printing only a few documents on an irregular basis. A network connection is the easiest to manage across multiple computers, honesty, but you have certain requirements for this connection and limits as well.

    I hope this information is useful!

  • How to set the path of the report in a plugin for model

    I'm trying to figure out how to set the path of the report in a plugin process model. I can't find a way to have access to it. It seems this would be a reasonable thing to do since the plug-ins are for the treatment of the results. Does anyone know how to do this? We generally use the sequential process model, but I try to keep my plug-in as independent as possible.

    Thank you.

    If I understand correctly, you want your plug-in, when enabled, change the settings of all other instances of the report OR plugin as their reports share the same directory that your plug-in is configured to use.

    If so, your plug-in can access and change the settings of all other instances of plugin. All instances are passed to all the points of plugin entries in the subproperty of the plugins of the ModelConfiguration parameter table. You can browse this table. Any element of the array with an equal to "NI_ReportGenerator.seq" Base.SequenceFilename is an instance of the report OR plugin. Its report options are stored in the element under PluginSpecific.Options.

    You can change the report options to what you want. Note that the recall of the ReportOptions model is called from template-plugin Initialize entry point, then you might want to ensure that your changes are applied after that, so they are not replaced. To do this, you could make your changes in the Initialize entry point of your plugin and make sure your plugin runs last. To rotate the last, you can set the FileGlobals.ModelPluginComponentDescription.Default.Base.RunOrder in your file of plug-in with a value greater than 0, for example 1.0 (see Help for TestStand > Fundamentals > process template Architecture > plug-in for the model process Architecture > Structure of the plugin sequence files > plugin model of entry Points > Order Execution of Point of entry at run time).

    If you mean the customer of email Windows Live Mail, the time stamp on messages is governed by your time zonesystem. Right-click on the clock in the lower right of the screen and select CONFIGURATION... Change your time zone, and then set your clock at the present time.

    If you are talking about the Windows Live Hotmail service, the time zone (s) used are those contained in your account data. Reach

  • How can set the background color of the status bar?

    How can set the background color of the status bar?
    Posted the: July 17, 2008 02:56

    How can set the background color of the status bar?
    Using this code for the status bar:
    LabelField statusField = new LabelField ("Good Morning", LabelField.USE_ALL_WIDTH |) LabelField.NON_FOCUSABLE | LabelField.HCENTER)
    {
    int _backgroundColour = Color.LIGHTGREEN;
    public void paint (Graphics g)
    {
    g.setBackgroundColor (Color.RED);
    g.Clear ();
    Super.Paint (g);
    }
    };

    Font defaultfont = Font.getDefault ();
    Police smallfont = defaultfont.derive (Font.PLAIN, 12);

    statusField.setFont (smallfont);
    setStatus (statusField);

    When I ran the code you have above, my status background color was red.  Is not what you see?  If so, please provide the BlackBerry model and software version that you are testing.  You can find this under Options.

    Or if you try to do something else, please provide details.

    I tested this in the BlackBerry Simulator included with version 4.5.0 BlackBerry JDE (4.5.0.44).

    To do this in version 4.1, first call getColor and save the current color.  Then call setColor, setting the color to the color you want to use for the background.  After this call call fillRect, starting with 0, 0 and go to the size of the field (use this.getWidth () and this.getHeight () to get this).  This must fill in the field with your specified color.

    To allow the drawing of the default content of the field call setColor once again, passing in the original color, then call super.paint.

  • How to set the key numb to activate at startup

    How to set the key numb to activate at startup on computer laptop gateway running windows 7?

    Original title: numb locking button

    Hello Wan,

    Thanks for the quick response. We appreciate your time and your efforts.

    By default the NUM LOCK status is the same as it was before you shut down the computer properly. If it is on when you shut it down it will be on when you turn on the computer again.

    A few users have solved this problem by disabling fast boot option in the BIOS (Basic Input Output System). I would ask disable youFast Boot to the BIOS and check if that helps.

    For more information about how to disable Fast Boot in the BIOS, I would ask you to contact the manufacturer of the system.

    Note:

    BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

    Hope the helps of information provided. Let us know the results and do not hesitate to post on the Microsoft Community, in case you have problems when you are working on Windows.

  • LR4.1 - tone curve - how to set the individual RGB channels?

    Hello

    I can't find out how to set the curve of different RGB channels.  I guess the LR4 tone curve works as the dialog box curves PS with the channel drop-down list.

    LR4.1 help says:

    To make adjustments at different points on the tone curve, choose an option in the menu of the curve of points, click the button change the curve of points , and then do one of the following:

    • Choose an option from the popup menu of the channel. You can change the three channels at once, or choose to change the red, green, or blue channel individually.

    When I click on the small icon in the lower right corner of the Panel curve tones, the Panel shrinks while I do not see the sliders of regions.  If I click again, they are visible again.  I can't find where to select one of the three channels indvidual.

    Aid refers to the "Point curve menu."  Where is the menu Point curve?  The curve of points is different from the tone curve?

    If I right-click (Windows) in the curve dialog box, the shortcut menu has an option show information.  I click on it power and don't see any change or any info.  Where should I look for info?

    Thanks for any help here.

    Hi John,.

    The curve of points is without cursors. The settings for the individual channels are only available with

    PV2012. You must be editing a file with PV2010 or 2003. When to PV2012, you will see "channels: RGB" under the window of the curve. Click on the triangles of doule following RGB

    for each channel.
