How to sort members by alias names

I am trying to create dimension rule which will sort the dimension members in ascending order, but it must be based on the name of the alias instead of the member name.

I tried the two Parent-child and generation number, but it does not work.

For example

for members of the city PSE (purchase alias name) and USALB (aka Albany) should be sorted by alias names

the current order is
PSE (Purchase)
USALB (Albany)

but the requirement has to be
USALB (Albany)
PSE (Purchase)

I'm not whay you say by the multiple keyword, you can certainly use two load rules within a single import dimensions statement. It would be disastrous if you couldn't. But according to your question, yes you can use the same rule of load to import a text file and a sql table. It would be just like using two rules in the statemtent of load. Here is a sample of the reference of the technology using sql and flat files in a statement
Import database sample.basic dimensions
Server text data_file "test" using the server rules_file "test."
Server text data_file 'level' help Server rules_file 'level ',.
log in as 'usrname1' identified by 'password1' using the server rules_file "test."
log in as 'usrname2' identified by 'password2' using the server rules_file "test".
Error adding to 'C:\Hyperion\products\eas\client\dataload.errr ';

    You cannot sort the content in a smart folder as "most visited".

    iTunes has absolutely no concept of "last name."  It is simply a lexical sort on the text in the field of the Album.

    If you want to leave the name of the artist he is, but ignore it for sorting, you can enter data in the field artist sorting, which is on the tab of sort for each song.  Use the format "Lastname, Firstname" to get the kind you want.

    LOAD_ORDER_BY_INPUT takes as input, you are sure that the members are in the correct order when it passed through the transit area.
    In any case I usually customize the IKM to use an "ORDER BY" on the SQL statement.

    Hoping you can help me with a question.

    I need to change the names of the members of alias in my default alias table. I was able to do by running an excerpt from plan (thanks metro OLAP), change the Alias names, then by using a rules file to load the changes again. Since I found an alternative that seems much more straight forward which is simply to export the Alias by using outline-> export a Table Aliasfile, make the changes to the .alt file and then using contour-> Table of Alias to import to load in the updated Alias names the. I just wanted to check if this alternative (and easier) approach is correct?

    I saved the outline on my desk, if I live, how I can better restore the outline?

    It depends on the properties of Dimension Build.

    There are two options, called "Delete not specified" and "merge". You must be very careful. I always prefer to use Merge on the incremental updates that will only update the new changes / add new members. It does not remove members if you are using "merge". But, if you use 'Delete not specified', it will keep only the members in the file and removes the rest.

    When compared to the generation (or) level construction, construction of Parent-child is the easiest. (Ensure that you must "Allow change of ownership" enabled for this specific dimension for which you want to make changes)
