Hello

What version of Windows?

For 10 windows, change the idle time does take to the screen saver turns on then turns off password on resume protection.

For other versions of Windows, the process is very similar. Do it from Control Panel > (appearance and personalization > personalization > screen saver.)

  • How I stay connected in the sites of the closing of Firefox?

I tried changing the settings, but even if the passwords and user ID are stored, I still have to connect whenever I have access to the Internet.

In General, Web sites you (your browser) recognized by cookies, they put. They do not always keep your session open indefinitely, but if you can be recognized by the site in other browsers, it should also work in Firefox.

So that these cookies to persist between sessions, the site must first have the permission to set a persistent cookie. When you view the site, you can check its permissions by using one of these methods:"

    • Right click > View Page Info > permissions
    • Menu Tools > Page Info > permissions

Under set "cookies", you want to allow.

If you have changed this setting, then you can dΘfinir of fresh cookies with new extended expiration dates. Save any work you do on the site, then go to:

    • Right click > View Page Info > Security > the button "View Cookies" or
    • Menu Tools > Page Info > Security > button "show the Cookies".

Clear all cookies to put there, close the dialog box, reload the page and sign in again. Now you have the cookies that should last.

The next thing is to make sure that cookies are not being erase from Firefox to stop, an add-on or external security/privacy software.

For a built-in feature of Firefox, you can see here:

the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > privacy

If the setting of the story is "conservation rules: don't forget history" then cookies must not be cleaned. If the parameter is "conservation rules: use the custom settings for history" then you can manually adjust the function 'Clear history of Firefox closing' (either round or to ensure that it is not clear cookies).

For the Add - Ons, though some seem to relate to cookies, you may need to set their parameters.

For external software, it varies widely that your security software is your Firefox settings. If you think that this could be a problem, what software are you using.

Edit: I should mention that the foregoing does not apply to the private browsing mode. You cannot store cookies through private browsing sessions.

  • If 2 Airport extreme can stay connected to each other using their LAN ports?

    Hello friends,

I would like to know if 2 Airport extreme or 1 Airport Extreme and Airport Express can stay connected to each other using LAN ports at the ends? I thought this is the LAN port 1 connected to the WAN port on the 2nd.

    Thank you

To clarify the issue and the scenario, one of my friend described a typical scenario in which there are 2 AEs. AE1 has an ISP in its port WAN and AE2 has a different ISP in its WAN port. This 2 AE can mutually connected between them by using ports LAN AE1 and AE2 ethernet cable? He said this could be feasible if AE2 remained in bridged mode, without using the ISP attached to its WAN port. I just don't get how this is possible. Friends of the search help.

    Thank you

  • How to avoid connecting them to Firefox whenever I open it?

Firefox used to be signed whenever I opened it. Now it forces me to go through the entire Panel, including the password whenever I start it. How do you stay connected? When I connect, it goes to my correct home page. I just signed each time.

Websites to remember you and automatically log you on are stored in a cookie.

    • Create a cookie exception allow (Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such cookies, especially for sites Web secure and if the cookies expire when Firefox is closed.

Make sure that you run not Firefox in private browsing mode.

Do not use clear recent history to eliminate the 'Site preferences' and 'Cookies' as this does not take into account exceptions, but deletes all specified data.

Compensation of the "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, windows pop up, installation of software and passwords.

  • Firefox Sync will not stay connected.

Whenever I open Firefox, it I set up my account to sync again by typing my username and password sync key. I was under the impression that the sync account could stay connected. Anyone else know of this problem and how to fix?

    The solution I found is:

In the Firefox Options under the Privacy tab:

If you have the option checked to 'Clear history of Firefox closing': go into settings and uncheck the "saved Passwords" under the data section.

Seems to be the only data that needs to 'remember' Firefox for synchronization to work.

  • Problem to stay connected to the internet through the wireless router.

I'm having a strange problem.  My computer will stay connected wireless for anywhere between 2-30 minutes before losing connectivity.  However, it works when I plug it into the router, which is what I'm doing now.  I have tried everything I can think of to eliminate the problem, but it has not changed.  Usually, once it shuts down it will stay off until I have change the frequency of router or something.  Reset the router works every time some time, but nothing is definitely the problem.

I disabled ipv6, reset the router, update windows, restarted several times that I have unplugged router and modem, reconfigured frequency channel of the router, among other things.

It must be a problem with my computer because my roommate both have computers that are working properly.  In addition, it is a relatively new problem.  I've had my computer for a few months now and it has worked well up until that 2 days ago.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello

I would try the underside and then if no joy try a system restore to before this happened - don't worry
the system restore without the bottom as the issue will probably come back. And if you always do
a system restore and then repeat the underside when even because all will be back to old drivers and settings.

How to make a Vista system restore

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please do this 1 and repeat if you need to do a system restore:

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

Download - SAVE - go where you put it - right click – RUN AS ADMIN.

You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.

After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version. (The
manufacturer of system become your backup policies).

Repeat for network (NIC) card and is a good time to get the other updated drivers as Vista like
    updated drivers.

I would also turn off auto update for the drivers. If the updates Windows suggests a just HIDE as they
are almost always old, and you can search drivers manually as needed.

Make sure you know the details of connection to your wireless router - SSID and password.

You lose connection when you do and have to redo your logon.

Control Panel - Network & Sharing Center - right, click Customize - page set of network locations.
lower left click on merge or delete network locations - REMOVE all instances of your network (and the
others you don't use anymore) - REBOOT. Start - Connect To log on to the network.

  • Stay connected to windows rather than return to the screen of the user.

I had this put option implemented in Vista, but can't seem to find how to do this in Windows 7.  I'm under Win 7 Pro (32 bit) If this is useful.  My situation is that, as I use this laptop, why windows must evict me and get to the selection screen of the user whenever it is idling or stop?  I remember it being an option 'case' in Vista.  Is there a way that my user account can stay connected in Win 7 instead of having me back to the user selection screen?  Thank you for your time and help.

    -Giuseppe

This issue finally got resloved by deleting the folder ' com.adobe.AdobeStory * ' present in the following directory:

    Win: '% appdata%\Adobe\AIR\ELS\ '.

    Mac: username > library > Application Support > AIR > ELS >

On Mac, this problem may occur if the user chooses to deny Adobe Story to access some information in the keychain.
