  • How to stop the connectivity between two computers that use the same IP address... ?

Today, I managed to connect two computers with the same IP address. But now it is to be feared. for example, a person can access my computers using my IP and MAC address. So now, how can I stop the connectivity between these two computers. should what setting I use to stop.

    Tahnks.

    Hello

1 have. what measures you taken to connect 2 computers with the same IP address?

    2. How are the 2 computers connected?

    3. how exactly you want to stop the connectivity between 2 computers?

I want to tell you that 2 computers on the same network cannot have the same address. Each machine must have a unique address to identify it. A private network, as a home network connected to the internet, can be connected to a router to connect to the network, will have only 1 address, public IP address.

In addition, if we know the IP address of a computer along the user ID and password, we can access the computer/shared files.

If you are referring to the change of the IP address of the two computers, you can follow these steps and check.

    a. network connections open. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel. In the search box, type 'adapter' and then, under center network and sharing, click view network connections.
    b. right click on the connection you want to change. Click on properties. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    c. click on the network tab. Under this connection uses the following items, click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6), and then click the properties button. To specify your IP for IPv4, click on use the following IP address, and then, at the address IP, subnet mask, and gateway boxes by default, type IP address settings.

A typical IPv4 address looks like 192.168.0.2; a typical subnet mask is 255.255.255.0. The default gateway is usually the address of your router.
For example, IP address: 192.168.0.2 by 192.168.0.12 (for computers)
    Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    DNS: 192.168.0.1

  • How to stop windows vista automatic updates

Whenever I connect to the internet, I get an update automatic windows vista. This drains my allowance of month for the internet in a few minutes and I can't find an option to stop the download updates automatically.

It's cost me money, I pay to go on my internet allowance, and I can't stop it!

    See the following articles

You should not receive updates each time you turn on the computer. Microsoft releases security updates the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am PST. No security updates may appear to be the fourth Tuesday of the month. Updates to the Windows Defender definitions are issued twice a week. Windows Security Essentials (if you have one) will be updated daily. There are occasional updates outside this cycle. You should check your update history where an update fails to install and is given several times.

    Hello

Check with your router manufacturer and their forums because they usually have great information.

Better to use WPA/WPA2 security if they are available and you can hide the SSID that will help
help others to see the network (note on some routers more hide the SSID)
causes of connection problems and if they find out the name he is more useful).

  • How to stop the image automatically re-sizing of a sequence

    I have a sequence CS5 as of:

    HDV 1080i and 25 f/s

It is therefore 1440px by 1080px and the aspect ratio is 1.3333

I have an image in the project which is 1600px x 1067px

And when I pull on the sequence it is automatically reduce my image to the size of the sequence...

How can I stop it this?

    Sorry if it's super simple

    Thanks, victoria

    Ah, brain lapse...

Even if the dimensions of your HDV clip are 1440 x 1080, full frame, it is actually 1920 x 1080. So, your file 1600 x 1067 (probably with square pixels) is going to 'float' in the middle of your monitor for the program. You will have to step up or redraw your chart to be at least 1920 x 1080 with square pixels (or 1440 x 1080 with a 1.333 NORMAL) to completely fill the screen.

Note that you cannot interpret just your 1600 x 1067 with a NORMAL 1, 333 - well, you could, but you will get stretching distortion.

  • How to go on connect automatic book mac pro on commissioning?

I just want to pass on my Macbook Pro 2010 without having to keep signing in.  I use it only for watching movies & t.v. on mainly, & as it is one of big 17 inch MBP I don't take it out of the House these days. In system preferences, the option to automatically connect is grayed out even when you unlock the padlock, and I've been to both the users & groups pref and the security & privacy prefs. So I can't turn off.  Oddly enough, I don't have this problem with my Macbook to date!  Can anyone help?  Thank you!

p.s. I'm running on Mac OS X El Capitan X.11.5.

How can used Firefox to start at boot time and now just goes to my desktop, I change this

A typical method is to copy your Firefox shortcut in the start-up folder for your Windows account.

  • How to stop we reload automatically a Web site like Drudgereport?

My wifi connection is sometimes choppy (darn that microwave popcorn!) and I hate it when I'm in the middle of reading the Drudge links and it recharges... sometimes change the layout a bit or simply suspended pending an adserver for answer.

Is it possible to prevent this? Tried the freezing of the tab. And for some reason, firefox does not prevent this page from reloading automatically as it does others.

    Any ideas?

This site relies on JavaScript to reload the page. There are a couple of Add-ons that can be used to block JavaScript.

The first is NoScript, this default extension is blocking JavaScript on all sites, then you specify which are the sites that you want to run JavaScript. https://addons.Mozilla.org/firefox/addon/NoScript

The second is YesScript, this takes the opposite approach, it allows JavaScript to run on any site, you then specify what you want to block JavaScript on the sites. https://addons.Mozilla.org/firefox/addon/YesScript

  • How do the PPPOE connection automatic connection on Vista

    Hello!

I have the internet connection for PPPOE. It works fine, but I want to autoconnect when I start my PC.
I tried to create a network connections shortcut and copy it to all the programs/startup.
    It did not work.

    Thank you!

OK, try this. Open the Control Panel and select Internet Options > connections . Make sure your PPPoE connection is highlighted and always set the default connection is checked. This assumes that your PPPoE connection is your default value.
