How Windows 7 ULT is supposed to manage the JPEG2000 files?

I try to open and view a JPEG2000 file in Windows 7 in the last month

V12 for Windows Media Player does not open a JPEG2000 file.

I then downloaded a plugin for the "GIMP 2.6.11" image editing application, but I get a failure message when I try to open a JPEG2000 image like this.

Then I did a search for a visualization of JPEG2000 application and I found 'Image Access Solutions Viewer 3.1', which seems to be a SUN/JAVA based app by the look of the icon of the application, but this app, after successful installation, gives this message when I try to open a JPEG2000 file... "Initialization error - unable to locate all the DLLs. Shutting down. Native Library C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\msvcr71.dll already loaded into an another ClassLoader".

But there is no other applications running that has that "msvcr71.dll" file loaded, and the error message is contradicting himself by saying first that he cannot locate all the required DLLs, then indicates that the msvcr71.dll file is already running in another charger 'class '.

How should Windows 7 being manipulate JPEG2000 files natively?... This is a relatively common format today which is used in many ways.

Thanks for any help,

  • How Windows Explorer can be configured to browse the folder hierarchy instead of behaving like a browser?

I work with files in a folder tree.  I want to browse this folder hierarchy, just as I did in the original copy of Windows Explorer in Windows XP.  I want to use the arrow keys to navigate up and down, and when I'm in a folder and click the previous button, I want it to go up one level in the folder hierarchy, just like he used to.

Now, when I hit the 'back' button, Windows Explorer behaves as a browserand goes to the last folder that I have read.

It's so frustrating!  She interrupts my thought process and the movement of my work.  If I wanted to use a browser, I use Internet Explorer.

How Windows Explorer can be configured to browse the folder hierarchy instead of behaving like a browser?  Remember the "unwebified" of Windows XP Windows Explorer version?  This is what I want so I can get back to work effectively.

Windows Explorer 7 does not have the up button like XP, however, in the address bar you can select the folder in the hierarchy (sometimes called the trail of bread crumbs) to return.

Windows 8 added the arrow pointing upwards.

    Hi Rohit,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum. I understand that your USB drive is having problems of compatibility with your computer, but I would like to learn more about the issue in order to provide you with better assistance.

    1. You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?
    2. When do you get exactly the error message?
    3. Have you tried to connect to any other computer on this flash drives?
    4. Your USB key works on other computers or have you tried to connect to different USB ports on this computer?
    5. Is the pen drive getting detected in the case or you are able to access the drive folder in the window of the computer ?

The question may arise if the currently loaded USB driver has become unstable or damaged, or if your PC requires an update for problems that could conflict with a device USB and Windows. This can also occur if your USB controllers may have become unstable or corrupt. So, I would suggest trying the following steps and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

Please try the fixit (s) provided below which will help you solve common problems associated with devices and USB ports.

If method 1 does not work, try Method 2.

    Method 2:

Remove and reinstall all USB controllers.

    1. Open Manager devices by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click system and security, and then, under System, clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. In the list of the categories of equipment, locate and expand Bus USB controllers.
    3. Right-click every device under the Bus USB controllers node and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
    4. Restart the computer and let the USB controllers get reinstalled.

Plug in the removable USB device and test to make sure that the problem is solved.

If the problem persists, go to method 3.

    Method 3:

This method will install the latest drivers from device to your USB device.

    1. Click the Start button, type Windows Update in the search box, and then click Windows Update in the results pane.
    2. Click find updates. When the scan finished, click optional review updates.
    3. Click the check box next to the update, and then click install updates.
    4. If you are prompted, read the license agreement, then click I agree.
    5. Follow the instructions on the screen to download and install updates.
    6. If you are prompted, restart your computer.

Hope this information is useful. If the problem still persists, please post back for further assistance, we will be happy to help you.

Mixture of Photoshop mobile app. How can you save an edited photo in the same file as the original?

    Hey there Mopi2!

Currently, there is no way to save your new image instead of the original image. For now, you need to manually delete the original. It is however a great request! Please share with the team by typing "give us feedback" in the app menu (tap on the app icon in the upper left corner of the screen while inside the app).

Let me know if that helps!

Interpret as follows: raw file 'NAVE' a 'sidecar' jpeg disk file too, which was not imported, but is "follow-up." i.e. it is a NEF file.

The best way to develop the module file is raw or jpeg is to look at the cursor to temperature: temperature of jpeg is incremental, centered at 0, gross temperature is in degrees kelvin.

  • How Camera Raw and various profiles to manage the Transition to overexposure

With all the attention that I had to pay to profiles lately, I've been opening many images with colors vivid blue (where my recent post on trying to get better blue color).

One of the things I noticed is that the transition to overexposure seems to be treated VERY differently depending on the chosen profile.

Of particular interest is an image that I shot recently to a stage where some blue lights shone on the crowd and in the goal of my Canon EOS - 40 d of.  I was surprised how differently the transition towards overexposure is based on the chosen profile.

Not including one of the profiles provided by Adobe manages this transition smoothly at all, showing a few transitions strong - which explains why I had so much trouble with the color of the sky.

Some examples follow (they have all been converted to sRGB for viewing through a browser).  Specifically, note the area around the blue light at the top right.

Adobe Standard profile such that supplied with Camera Raw by Adobe:

    AdobeStandardProfileBlueOverexposure.jpg

Camera Standard profile such that supplied with Camera Raw by Adobe:

    CameraStandardProfileBlueOverexposure.jpg

Profile of landscape of camera, like that provided with Camera Raw by Adobe:

    CameraLandscapeProfileBlueOverexposure.jpg

Very good 40 d profile "sRGB Standard of the DPP" Vit Novak gave me a few days earlier, based on measures of how Canon DPP manages the colors:

    VitNovak40DProfileBlueOverexposure.jpg

The format of JPEG in camera:

    InCameraJPEGBlueOverexposure.jpg

    -Christmas

This change in color when blue/cyan is intentional, also because blown blue colors are rendered around 190 degrees tinted sRGB, so transition should be smooth. But in the case of sRGB profile, it's suddenly somewhere near half of LUT (according to saturation), where the nonlinear values sRGB reached 1, while Adobe RGB, it is much more smooth. Looks like it's cut into sRGB

About highlights and possible appearance of the hard core it's the Canon seems a built-in LUT that extends above the 1 brightness value, in order to cover the sensor output after whitebalancing, where R and B can be greater than 1 (because the R and B channels is less sensitive and they are multiplied with WB R and B multipliers). DNG profiles do not offer this capability - above 1 everything is cut prior to calculation of LUT, so I adjusted the calibration for the different process, but it can not be handled properly. So whatever I do, it won't be the same in this region (and there may be additional logic in the camera). But ACR has recovery slider, which compresses the upper region to fit into the LUT

This topic is quite complex, really

    Hey Kevin,

You will need to run the command above in the elevated command prompt.

Refer to this step help: How to run a command with elevated privileges?

After you run the command of high fashion, you should get the message, "" DLLRegisterServer in wmp.dll managed."

Also, you can run the method 2 regardless of the success or failure of the method 1. Please try these methods first and see how it goes.

Normally, it is appropriate to fix this problem by running SFC scan and you would not need to copy the file.

  • Windows Explorer crashes on Asus after uninstalling the game files.

A couple of days, I uninstalled the games that came with my Asus U36S laptop and after that my Windows Explorer began to crash and restart - and recovery system does not work for some reason any.

At first I thought it was a coincidence, so I tried to understand what could be the problem. I checked the third-party applications, virus, malware, tried clean restarts, restart in safe mode and so on and so forth. But the problem persists.

After all the discussions Forum I could find on the situation through, I finally noticed that someone else had the same problem and solved it in re - install game files (OT here, final note: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-system/windows-7-home-premium-corrupted-file-pintlgbimd/f39e62df-aaf0-4bfd-adbd-cd8e874a5297?page=2).

Now, I'd love to do that too - but I have no idea how to do to get your hands on these game files. I don't have an installation CD (my laptop did not come with a CD-rom) and I don't even remember the names of the games that I uninstalled.

Can someone help me with this? I would be eternally grateful!

PS: I tried to call Asus about this, but they were less than helpful...

A couple of things by looking at the Event Viewer logs.

The ASUSWSShellExt64.dll was originally explore crash like this recently connected recurrent error:

The failing application name: explorer.exe, version: 6.1.7601.17567, time stamp: 0x4d672ee4
The failed module name: ASUSWSShellExt64.dll, version: 1.1.0.27, time stamp: 0x4c7f631

In addition, Chrome is crashing because of the iDeviceEx.dll like this recently connected recurrent error:

Name of the failing application: chrome.exe, version: 32.0.1700.107, time stamp: 0x52ed6c62
Name of the failed module: iDeviceEx.dll_unloaded, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4cde567f

The information that you have posted on the grip, the location of the iDeviceEx.dll is as follows:

    LoadedModule [148] =C:\Program Files (x 86) \iMacsoft\iPod to PC Transfer\iDeviceEx.dll

Can you try to go to the \iMacsoft\iPod C:\Program Files (x 86) to PC file transfer and right-click the iDeviceEx.dll and the iDeviceEx.dll and rename it to iDeviceEx.old

Log off and reconnect again, and then restart Chrome and see if the same problem of hanging occurs.

  • How to record Design, RDBMS level Sites in the DefaultRDBMSSites file

I want to follow the advice to file system objects in a central location, so they can be kept for all designs in SVN.  I created a few additional sites and they are stored in the folder of design, not the default folder of system files.  How to create sites in the default sites folder?

How to create sites in the default sites folder?

administration site dialog box has 2 tabs - 'Current design' and "Edit the external file with sites" - the latter can be used to add/delete sites of defaultRDBMSSites.xml

Changes are not applied to open drawings - you must close them (even if the design is empty) or restart the Data Modeler.

Sites added to the defaultRDBMSSites.xml file are always copied in level design file in 'design save' operation then you can always move your design to another location.
