HP 10 G2: Time to recharge the Tablet

I have problems charging the tablet. Had the tablet to sleep and charge for more than six hours and only charged at 30%. Tablet turned off power and load for 3-1/2 hours and only achieved 10% extra. How long do these freaking things take to recharge? This is a brand new tablet. There for only four days. Not impressed with the Tablet so far.

Hi there @Thisblows

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that your tablet has taken more time than you expected to load.  I'm happy to help you with this.

Is the charger plugged directly into a wall outlet, and you use the charger provided with the appliance?

Have you tried a different outlet?

You had left the unit to charge for a minimum of 16 hours the first time around? It will load faster when slowed or powered off the coast, but the key is to let it load capacity initially. This allows to calibrate a battery the first time around.

  • Battery recharges each time connect to the PC

You just bought the clip over and noticed whenever I connect it via USB to my PC to download files, etc, stack of the clip starts automatically reloaded. The duration of the regular cycles of charging battery will not affect my battery life?  I guess there is no way to just connect the clamp to the PC without having time to recharge battery at the same time?

The processor in the Sansa automatically manages battery.  The battery is a lithium-polymer and is quite happy being systematically "topped up" when it is connected to the power, just like a car battery.

The nickel-cadmium battery of the past is probably the most familiar to most users.  These batteries would develop a "memory" at least that systematically rejected.  The new battery like supported, and it is better to load when it is plugged.

You cannot overload the Sansa battery; in fact, the loading process is actually disabled by the processor once done, rather than "trickle charge".

  • Make Firefox preserves web content already loaded when the Tablet is paused

I recently had an Android Tablet and loaded Firefox on it as my browser. First of all, I intend to use it for reading web content, sometimes when offline - i.e., I would like to be able to load some websites at home, leave Firefox open and put to sleep (NOT turn off), go somewhere where I don't have wifi, then wake the Tablet and read my sites loaded - just like I do with my laptop but much more portable.

The problem is that it seems that when I do this and go in Firefox after the awakening of my tablet, the browser seems to always reload the Web page from scratch. It is a pain because it means that I have a wifi access to read Web pages and I often partially through a post very long blog/forum or something similar, and I spend a lot of time scrolling to where I was.

Anyone know why this is happening and what I need to do to get Firefox to just keep the content I have already loaded?

OK, tried this today and it worked fine. I don't know what happened yesterday. Close this question!

Recharge the IPod Shuffle, the IPod Shuffle must be activated?

The power switch on the shuffle can be either on or OFF position when the load.  I usually leave in the on position all the time, so that I don't need to deal with the little switch and also to avoid wear it.  When disconnected, the shuffle switch mode 'sleep' when it is idle (songs plays do not).

  • Satellite on Mini L9W - B - the Tablet battery is empty

I have my mini click for a day and my Tablet battery is empty, while the keyborddock battery is always 100%.
Click mini says I need to load. Why can I not use the keyboarddock battery?

    Please check your BIOS version.
There is a new BIOS v1.7, which solves the problem with the keyboard dock charger status which was not recognized by the system of window correctly.

You should also know that the battery
#1 refers inside the Tablet and the battery
#2 refers to the battery in the keyboard docking station.
The battery status can be checked in the Windows Mobility Center window.

When you use the tablet with the keyboard dock, the second battery (battery inside the keyboard docking station) is the first source to power! It also happens that the battery could offload deeply
In such cases, it of needed to keep the dock Tablet and keyboard to recharge for at least 24 hours.
The tablet should be connected to the power adapter and moored at the keyboard docking station.

  • Portege M700: Message DEP, saying he has turned off the Tablet PC Component

Windows Vista Business SP1 is intermittently during starts with a message DEP saying it has disabled the "Tablet PC Component". Unexpectedly, this happened 5 times in the last 3 days. Once it happens, data via the touchpen entry and writing entry tool no longer works correctly.

I reported this to the Toshiba UK support and they told me to restore the system from the recovery - disk

Are you serious? It's what - after I spent almost 4 hours updating the BIOS, Windows Vista SP1 and MS Office then set up Outlook for Exchange server and HSDPA too?

Looks like there is only not all tested against Vista and Office upgrades...

    Should I turn off DEP?

    Hello

You can still leave the active DEP but could add the Tablet PC Component (touchpen) to the list of applications that are ignored by the DEP.

    You could do this in:
Control Panel-> system-> system settings-> advanced-> first button settings tab advanced-> last tab Data Execution Prevention (DEP)

Here, you can choose the second option and could ad the touchpen (exe) to the list

    Hi Tuckerdognc,

Thank you for taking the time to post.

Even if the battery is not charged in your camcorder, you can recharge the battery of your camcorder using the battery charger CG-800.

I know. I found a market after charger that revives my BP-808 and bought a market after BP-819. So far so good. Have not really tried to use in the field yet, but I tested by turn on the recorder and to let it go for about an hour with 819 and then reloaded. 150 minutes is it is top. the 808 as I let it go 1/2 and I'm getting a load of 80 min. If they don't unload just to be attached to the camera, I'll be good. (Which seems to happen before I bought the charger).

  • my Tablet starts, but then the Tablet freezes

I can connect, but once on the Tablet, the screen freezes and the screen cannot slide upward or downward, to connect.   I'm terrified I'll permanently closed out!, any solution? I have the HP Omni 10 Tablet. I bought the 1st June. Donna

    Hey @donnah70 ,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that you are having problems with your Tablet 10 Omni gel on the login screen.

It seems that the touch screen is not responding. Try to use the built in recovery by pressing the button + Volume and the Power button at the same time to turn on the tablet. This you should get a blue screen which you can navigate and perform a system restore. Recovering the system will return the tablet to its original factory condition.

  • No mode of the Tablet CTRL + ALT + DELETE key or Windows security?

I just bought a laptop / Tablet HP TX2-1020US that came with Vista Home Premium.  Good so far.  I upgraded to OS to Vista Ultimate and my original SBS2008 domain-joined and worked on a large too.

The problem is: when I'm in tablet mode, no button is "Windows Security" referred to in the prompt "press CTRL + ALT + DELETE or Windows security" in the starting System.  I end up having to convert portable mode, press CAD and convert again in tablet mode and use the biometric login each time.  Same thing to unlock the machine after an invocation of the screensaver, etc..

HP support says they don't support "as sold" configuration, even if I am invited for an upgrade as it sets up for the first time, I am on my own if I do.  Not a very "the computer's personal again' approach to customer service... ;-)

I thought I could reassign a touch on the surface of the Tablet--maybe the button "Mediasmart" I wouldn't need otherwise.  But the upgrade apparently took a toll on that too since the dialog box control Tablet PC Panel, in the general and the tabs button, I decidedly enigmatic after the upgrade and the tablet button ID is displayed as @BttnCmn.DLL,-2, -9, -7, etc. (for example the change in screen orientation button is @BttnCmn.DLL,-9).

I would appreciate a solution that is running boards - the need to press CTRL + ALT + DELETE and brings me directly to where a slip of the finger is a login, or a reallocation of button so I could tap without having to disable-tablet-mode each time.

    Thanks in advance,
    Richard

    And one possible answer is:

    1. Administrative Tools | Local security policy
    2. (Elevation of privilege)
    3. Local policies | Security options
    4. Interactive logon to change: don't require CTRL + ALT + DELETE to "Undefined" to "Enabled".
    5. Close local security policy tool.

CTRL + ALT + DELETE screen is bypassed, and the login screen is used instead (for which the fingerprint reader works fine).

    Thank you
    Richard

  • Unwanted shift line brush at random during the use of the brush and the eraser on the tablet + mac

I use a Cintiq 22HD on a Macbook Air, and whenever I use the brush or eraser it will create a line as if I held down the SHIFT key, about 60% of the time. I have no button on the tablet that is assigned to the shift key and the SHIFT key on my keyboard is not stuck like I can type perfectly well without seeing random capitalization. It is impossible to use, does anyone have an idea on a fix?

I posted this before and reset preferences doesn't solve the problem.

I thought about it. I pushed too much information at once via the single usb port on my mac.

  • Helps with the pressure of the pen on the Tablet

So I looked around all this morning and I wasn't sure if he should ask adobe or monoprice, so I came here first.

Yesterday, I got a tablet of Monoprice (5553 model I think). I use Windows 8 and I downloaded the latest compatible driver from the logic of the UC, rebooted the system, and that plugged into the tablet itself and let it install. The pressure of the pen works perfectly in the tests/configuration. It does not, however, in photoshop CS6 and activation of pressure of the pen in the shape Dynamics I always get the "!" who says need a pressure sensitive tablet. Is it because I missed a setting in photoshop? Do I need a different driver? Any help anyone could offer would be appreciated.

Well, this has been fixed with this band of working capital: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1405422

So as one solution for others who have this problem:

-Create a text file (in something like Notepad) and write:

    # Use WinTab

    UseSystemStylus 0

Name it PCSystemConfig.txt and then save it in C:\Users\[User name] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2015\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 Settings\ CC. (or another year if that is what you have.)

-If the cursor is out of sync with the time, go to the control panel-> hardware and audio-> display and point set size to small. Make sure that the changes take effect.

-Open photoshop once everything is activaated and registered.

Everyone says that it is a driver problem. Hell, I should read more before you post a thread, huh?

  • Hi, is there an easy way to copy an entire site from the desktop to the version of the tablet version?

Hi, is there an easy way to copy an entire site from the desktop to the version of the tablet version?

It is not possible to duplicate content en masse. You can copy the page structure, backgrounds, and metadata when you initially create mobile sites. The content should be created from the ground up; Although you can copy and paste (or drag and drop) Office-Tablet pages page and rework. You can also use the content panel to create a synchronized text - the scale of the site, which will save you a lot of time.

  • Jump to the tablet version when the internet speed is low?

Is it possible for a page to bump to the version of the tablet on a computer from Muse, where internet speed is low. I knew that my site has a very long download time when several computers are on the same wi - fi connection. It would be nice if he jumped so automatically to the tablet.

    Hello

It has no native function in Muse to achieve this. Maybe you can accomplish this by using some custom Javascript.

    Hey Anita.

It would even you have tested the last time, if you only want to display the page layout, you can use the simulators that would give you the idea that the way in which the content will be displayed.

But if you need the actual page with tablet environment actions, you need to download the emulator and install.

  • How to use the Tablet 3 rd-Party controls (what?)

Hello, I am new to hearing CS6. I have a Google Nexus 7 Tablet. I would use it for the mixture, but I don't know what 3rd party programs are compatible with the hearing CS6 looks that Adobe does not promote everything on the site, just refferes to them as programs 3rd party. I have creative cloud if that helps.

Hmm... I'll make a suggestion that you don't like... and it's that you get used to hearing and he can do by using a mouse before you think of any form of control of the tablet - that is assuming you can do work at all (which wasn't easy), but...

It goes like this: I did some experiments with a Tablet and hearing all the time, and I have to say that using such a mixer is less satisfactory - there are delays, and there is absolutely no subtlety on this at all. You spend a lot of time trying to make sure that your fingers are in the right place - and at the same time, of neccessity, must be addressed on the hearing screen - so effectively that you watch two screens at the same time. And that slows you down - a lot.

What is rather better is to use a kind of remote control surface that has real faders - these are much easier to locate, and because you get the tactile feedback, everything is much more accurate. They are available, and they work fine. Mackie make a very nice...

The thing the whole tablet, in which case the hearing, is nothing more than a gimmick. They have an audio of any use at all, you may be wondering? Well, there is at least one scenario where they are coming into their own, and it's like PA remotes. If you have a small jury rig PA for your group, using one of them you can set levels from a distance, without using a mixer remotely and the associated snake. And you can test it in several places in the room, too. And for this kind of application, this level of control is very good. But regarding the mixing table with precision control of hearing - quite frankly, as I fear, forget about it.

And the reason why I proposed learning all about what hearing is capable with a mouse in the first place, is that when you get finally play with a Tablet, you'll realize exactly how much control you have lost, fairly quickly.
