HP1212nfMFP: Blocking due to previous paper jam printer

I'm not able to restart my printer after a paper jam.   I made all the corrections and suggestions that I could find on the U-tube and the: various forums of the printer.   As all cleaning rollers, pick up pad, inspecting the inside with a strong light and magnifying glass, inversion and shaking the machine to dislodge any fragment of piece of paper etc.

I also recycled the machine several times without a power supply off and then the cycle.

What is happening is that all the above cleaning procedures.  I try to test print a Setup page...  A sheet of paper feeds and jams full length, just as she enters the pickup roller.  The machine hangs and displays a message that says: to remove a paper jam in the paper path area.

It must be a patch to do this, run completely tear the machine part, which I am tempted to do.  Help!

    Thank you, Rainbowlady23.  I have clean the rolls early in the process.  So.  Went through your hard reset suggested and as soon as voltage, he started the food cycle like the previous, however, he seemed to be a little bit slower, so I thought I could get through the menu of the printer to default settings selection.  Did it, and the cycle food order.  Tried to do a self test report, but he hung up obviously try to generate the report.  I canceled, did a hard reset of the second, has a different selection of menu/factory by default - and Bingo, it is fixed.

The printer says there is no jammed paper and printed successfully a self-test.  The table of edge devices and printers said that there is a jam paper and attempts to print just to sit in the queue.  Clicked on the HP Solution Center and it says printer is ready. The printer is okay.  Only the OS seems to have a different opinion.

    Not tried them: (1) open the back door and look for debris. (2) open the Feeder and locate debris.  (3) open front (involves opening door cartridge, unplug the printer and remove the trays) and search for debris.  (4) self test printing.  (5) restart the system.  (6) unplug the printer while and leave unplugged for 60 seconds to force the delivery.  (7) repeat steps 1-4.  No SOAP.

    Have you tried what is obvious.  Turn on the computer and the printer off both.  Now, unplug the printer from the computer.  Turn on the computer and then turn the printer back on.  Now reconnect the printer to the computer.  This assumes that the printer is connected to the computer via usb.  Alternatively, you can try to plug the usb cable into a different port.

    I use a HP Photosmart C5140 all-in-one printer and have had zero problems with it since purchase 6 years, but today I was printing to 4 x 6, three prints photos and then the paper began to jam.  I did all the things normal, firm, re - align, choose photo paper, stack the book perfectly, I think that I did everything possible, but the ongoing book to get stuck at the back as it rolls around the roller printing.  Any thoughts on what could happen?

    Try to uninstall and reinstall your software. Before you do, try to restart your computer and try again to print.

    I understand that you said that you have followed the instructions online, but can you describe what you've done so far? I suggest cleaning the rollers and maybe by aligning the printer again, but I don't know what you did and what you might not have.

    Maybe watch the following document and make sure you have completed all the steps suggested; A "Paper jam" message on the control panel.

    Please also check that you select the correct paper for the printer type know how heavy the paper should be.

    Most likely, the roller is worn out.  I guess you are trying to print from the cassette tray and not the fold down manual tray.  If so, remove all paper from the cassette tray and place on 10 sheets on the manual fold down from the shelf to the front.  Try and print again and see if it picks up the paper.  If it feeds OK, chances are the drive for the cassette tray roller is worn and should be replaced.  You can try to clean the rollers with warm soapy water and dry, and it can be good to use while you wait for a replacement roller.
