HP 3052 a Deskjet is not printing.

My printer repeat me that I am paper... not true.  I try to replace the paper in it, nothing helps.  I tried Dr. printing and scanning, but it does not address that.  Please notify.

The answer I received was wonderful!  Thank you very much... I had pretty much decided that I have to buy a new printer.  The problem was dirt on the rollers... I live in NM and the computer just next door to Doggie for the two shepherds of Austrialian (mini)... dust, dust everywhere!  Learned my lesson... will keep the printer power off and covered when not in use.  Thank you very much.

    Hello.

I have HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3525 e-all-in-one printer.

The printer stop printing in black.

    I am trying:

    1. put the new cartridge HP 655 black original .

    2. I do several head cleaning cycles.

    3. I gave for printer.

    4. I remove the cartridges, turn the printer off, swith on the power cable, wait for mo to 60 seconds and plug everything back.

    5. I clean the vents and the surface of the black cartridge.

    6. I do everything, what I see in the paper by HP - Printers - HP Deskjet 3520, color or black ink not print

And all of this does not help. My HP 3525 does not print black.

Moreover, if I print a test page for the printer, I see racks, which are printed in black!

At the same time, the black level is not printed!

    Please, help to repair!

    Hi @MobileWanted,

The printer is probably using composite black. A mixture of the color cartridges will create black.

The print head is probably clogged. This model has a permanent print head. Not one of HPs, my personal recommendation is to use the solution put forward in the next video.  I suggest you only do this if the printer is out of warranty: How to fix a HP printer, printing black ink not.

If the printer is still under warranty, please call for a replacement printer.

    Thank you!

  • HP Deskjet 2540 not print color

Hi all! I bought a printer HP Deskjet 2540. I installed using the diskette provided to me and does not print color. I use a Mac version 10.9.4 and I think I need to download a driver updated online, but if not, what can I do to get it printing color? Thank you!

    Hi @patrick_doll

You are able to copy in color? If so, you're probably right about the question has something to do with the software or driver.

If you are unable to copy in color, please use the following document to solve the problem; Printer cannot print black ink or color ink, or prints blank Pages

    If, however, you can copy in color please complete the following steps;

    Reset the printing system

    1. Click on the Apple icon ( ), then click on System Preferences.

I went to install the printer on 2 computers and computer with windows vista I can scan but not print from the computer with windows 8.1 I can print but not scan. What should I do?

    Hi @joguirian

I think would be best to start with printing HP and doctor Scan. Printing HP and doctor Scan is a free utility (tool) that allows to quickly solve common printing, scanning and connectivity problems, including but not limited to:

    • Connectivity:

USB: Check that the USB connection from your computer to the HP product works properly.

Network: Verifies that the network connection between your computer and your network is working properly.

    • Device Status Test: checks the errors of the device, such as paper, paper jams, stands transport and paper issues and provides instructions to resolve the error.

    • Driver: checks the driver missing or corrupt files.

    • Device Manager: check the problems in Device Manager that could prevent printing.

    • Device online: check if the product has been suspended or put in offline and then sets the State back in line if necessary.

    • Print queue: checks and clears pending print jobs in the print queue (a newspaper for printing waiting to print).

    • Port Match: check the port settings for the HP product.

    • Device conflicts: check the conflicts with other drivers, such as the other brands of printers.

    • Ink issues: check the cartridges and the ink levels for issues that affect the print quality.

    • Print settings: check and adjust the print quality settings.

    • Test print: print a test page for the assessment of the print quality and provides options for cleaning and if necessary print head alignment.

    • Scan tests: check the scanning mechanism, drivers, and registry entries.

If this does not resolve the problem, after back and let me know if there are all the symbols except the Green checkmarks and what they are next of course. The key is not always easy to identify the key and check mart are in the green circle.

    • If you see only the Green checkmarks (), the tool did not find any problem.

    • If you see green sides (), the utility identified a problem and fix it automatically.

    • If you see yellow exclamation points (), the test failed and requires monitoring of the user, but the step was ignored.

    • If you see a red X (), follow the onscreen instructions to fix the problem.

I can't wait to hear back on your part.

  • DeskJet 2541: brand new HP Deskjet 2541 not printing black

Just set up our new Deskjet 2541. Impressions color very well, but when I try to print black it prints a blank page.

Ink estimate shows that the black cartridge is about 75% full. I ran the alignment and vacuuming twice.

I also tried to do a hard reboot by unplugging for 30 seconds and then plug it in.

As much as I know there is no problem with black cartridge, its all just not printing.

    Help?

Edit: I took out and put new and when the alignment page is printed there are 2 red arrows and a warning sign on the bottom half red. Upper half a blue colors only.

It's working now. No idea of what he did, I turned it off for a whole day and when I restarted the properly printed alignment page and black now works!

  • 3510th DeskJet: My 3510th Deskjet will not print business letter in Word letterhead?

In the context of business my class at the College, we use Microsoft WORD. I type a business letter to the top and go to print it and my printer not print the letterhead! I think there may be a setting in Word, maybe I need to check.

You include letterhead in the form of a graph in Word?  You may need to check the 'drawings print created in Word' in a file, Options, view.  (Word is in 2013, other versions should be similar).

It's the all-in-one series Officejet 6500?  It would be very different from the set of Deskjet 6500 (which as far as I know, do not have a wireless option).
