You use a third-party anti-virus software to control your firewall?  If so, try disabling it temporarily.

See if the internet connection returns.

  • Unable to connect to the Internet via a Linksys Wireless card

I used a Linksys BEFW11S4 for several years with no problems.  A PC is connected via a network cable and the other (Dell laptop) used a wireless adapter Linksys that plugged into the laptop (model of Linksys WPC11 ver (4).  All my computers using Windows XP with the latest service packs.

I plugged the Dell laptop to the router via a cable to transfer files faster than the network B.  Then, when I disconnected the cable and reconnected the wireless card, I was unable to use the Wi - Fi connection to connect to the internet.  Wired works very well, is not wireless.

Windows reports a good wireless connection to the router, but the machine is unable to connect to the internet using the wireless card.  It can connect to the internet when using a network cable, however.

Pings what either using the Wi - Fi connection failed (expired).

I used another laptop (a more recent Toshiba with a wireless card built-in) to connect to the router and it works very well with the connectivity wired or wireless.  No problem switching back with this machine.  So, the problem is not with the router or the router configuration.

I was through the forums and seen a LOT of people seems to have the same problem with these Wireless Linksys routers.

I tried to use the Easy Link software to configure the machine, but: (1) Linksys updated web site is not valid, and (2) with the www.linksysfix.com/ela site that directs users to the software is also invalid.  Linksys technical support seems to be lacking.

I went to the usual network setup menus and two laptops seem to be configured the same way, again, we're working wireless and we do not.

I would appreciate solutions others have tried and who has worked with this problem.

I reinstalled the drivers for the Linksys card and it does not work.  Windows recognizes the new hardware card, reports that it is connected to the router, but still no internet connection

  • How can I get the wireless card to develop with a wiring my laptop

Did you use the recovery process HP plant or install using a different operating system disk? If the latter, you need to install the drivers for all your hardware, including drivers for wireless network cards. You will get only the pilot specific support for your laptop model HP Web site tech.

If by "wireless card" you mean that you have a 3G USB modem through your cell phone provider, contact the cell phone provider for help with that. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • After that Windows 7 conclusion "No Internet access" in the wireless network?

I have a USB wireless network card installed in my office. All judging by the "connected network" showed, that he manages to connect to my wireless router, with I can't visit all websites due to "free Internet access". Only if I move my router where (almost) no wall blocking the path between my office and the router, will be solved the problem.

There is no problems surfing the Internet using my laptop (Windows XP) and the iPad, which also connect to the router.

I don't know what "No Internet access" while "Connected network" appears. To understand this, perhaps I should know what Windows 7 draws the conclusion "No Internet access" to the wireless network.

Thank you, everyone. I managed to figure out the problem last night. With this document that I found by Googling, http://www.usb.org/developers/whitepapers/327216.pdf, I tried to disconnect my DVD ROM USB plugged next to my wireless network card and found that this really WORKED, although the DVD ROM is USB 2.0 instead of 3.0.

In addition, as Shawn "Cmdr" Keene [MVP] said, I really need to I ignore the message "connected network". I ran the Ipconfig/all command frequently and found that sometimes the IP address of my wireless network card was no longer * 192.168.0 and the gateway, and the IP addresses of the DNS servers are null, even if the message "Connected network" remained all the time.

Hope this helps others who also have this problem, even though my English is not very good. : )

    1. Press the Windows key + R .
    2. Type ncpa.cpl in the box and press enter .
    3. Right click on the wireless network connection.
    4. Click on Properties .
    5. Click sharing .
    6. Put a checkmark in the Internet connection sharing box.
    7. If it asks you to select a private network connection, select the connection to the Local network.

Then connect the computers using a wired Ethernet connection.

  • No Internet access - network/router wireless connection problem

I can't connect to the internet after installing Windows 7 64 bit. I can see the router wireless/network from my computer, but it has sometimes limited connectivity or it says connected but no internet access. I used Windows diagnostic tools to try to fix it but it does not work, and my router connects without a doubt to the internet such that I now use on a portable computer that is on the same network. I would like to know if anyone else has this problem and if they fixed. I tried to change the physical address of the connection to the local network, but it didn't work, I guess because I connect via radio and no cable, and I heard similar stories on other forums that this can be a problem more common I suspect. Thanks in advance for your answer, and all the details you need I'll try my best to provide.

OK I finally got to work, all we needed was for me to download the latest drivers (Realtek 8185 wireless card) off-site and install in compatibility mode, and then he worked all of a sudden. I hope this will help someone suffering from a similar problem!

  • Problem to stay connected to the internet through the wireless router.

I'm having a strange problem.  My computer will stay connected wireless for anywhere between 2-30 minutes before losing connectivity.  However, it works when I plug it into the router, which is what I'm doing now.  I have tried everything I can think of to eliminate the problem, but it has not changed.  Usually, once it shuts down it will stay off until I have change the frequency of router or something.  Reset the router works every time some time, but nothing is definitely the problem.

I disabled ipv6, reset the router, update windows, restarted several times that I have unplugged router and modem, reconfigured frequency channel of the router, among other things.

It must be a problem with my computer because my roommate both have computers that are working properly.  In addition, it is a relatively new problem.  I've had my computer for a few months now and it has worked well up until that 2 days ago.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello

I would try the underside and then if no joy try a system restore to before this happened - don't worry
the system restore without the bottom as the issue will probably come back. And if you always do
a system restore and then repeat the underside when even because all will be back to old drivers and settings.

How to make a Vista system restore
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/76905-System-Restore-how.html
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please do this 1 and repeat if you need to do a system restore:

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

Download - SAVE - go where you put it - right click – RUN AS ADMIN.

You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.

After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version. (The
manufacturer of system become your backup policies).

Repeat for network (NIC) card and is a good time to get the other updated drivers as Vista like
    updated drivers.

I would also turn off auto update for the drivers. If the updates Windows suggests a just HIDE as they
are almost always old, and you can search drivers manually as needed.

    ------------------------------------------------------

Make sure you know the details of connection to your wireless router - SSID and password.

You lose connection when you do and have to redo your logon.

Control Panel - Network & Sharing Center - right, click Customize - page set of network locations.
lower left click on merge or delete network locations - REMOVE all instances of your network (and the
others you don't use anymore) - REBOOT. Start - Connect To log on to the network.

  • If I buy a monthly account of xfinity wifi (which allows internet access through the device unique registred) can I use apple TV connected to my TV to the stream of the device on my TV?

using apple tv to stream xfinity wifi

The Apple tv needs Internet - wifi or Ethernet. Access normally means places that they have agreements with wifi (i.e. from Starbucks, McDonald's etc.). But you will need a connection Internet for the Apple TV work from your home. Although some use the hotspot on their phone.  You need a speed of ISP at 8mbps for HD streaming on iTunes or netflix requires only 5 for HD (due to compression).

short answer is that you must get xfinity as your ISP not only access hotspot...

  • RV 320 won't internet traffic through the SMC modems

We have recently installed a RV320 to use primarily as a gateway for FTP traffic. The router is installed power 2 60/10 circuits of our Internet service provider who provided 2 edge of the MSC devices and which have Wifi capabilities and router. When connect on modems in factory default state the RV320 connects but does not take advantage of the double connections in terms of speed. When disable us the wifi modems and router running the RV 320 connects but do not traffic through to the modems.

Since the two modems are identical, we get the same news IP and gateway of each. I would prefer not to have the modem in router mode. Is there a setting on the RV that will connect and pass internet traffic with modems in mode 'dumbed down '.

    Hi Graham,

The best scenario is to have both SMC routers on bridge mode and configure both on RV320 WAN interface with (PPPE, static IP, DHCP... He expense of your WAN connection)

Can you please share with us what kind of WAN connection you use in the SMC routers?

-Ensure the RV320 you have the latest firmware 1.1.0.09, otherwise you can download it from this link:

    http://software.Cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=284005929&softwareid=282465789&release=1.1.0.09&relind=available&rellifecycle=&RelType=latest

-On RV320 under the management of the system--> Dual WAN and check Load Balance

-After that, you set up the RV320 with the same type of WAN connection as a router SMC and SMC router mode Bridge and in this case, you should see the two public IP on RV320 of audit system summary

If you do these steps and still you can not the public IP address RV320 and the SMC router in Bridge mode, please share with us the configuration file RV320 and screenshots of two CMS about the WAN configuration

If in the case the SMC router does not have the option of working in Bridge mode, in this case, you will need to have the local of the SCM with subnet different e.g. 192.168.1.1/24 and other a 192.168.2.1/24

on RV320 you can leave the configuration in DHCP on both WAN Ondaaah (if you have the DHCP Server enable SMC router) or you can configure the static IP address on the two wan

    Thank you!

Here is the service manual that you need:

    Your manual

The good news is that there is no BIOS block whitelist so that you can install any module wireless with the right form factor and the number of antennas. The bad new is that the removal and reinstallation of the wireless card is a serious surgical procedure.

See pages 43-51. Pay attention to this:

Ago 58 screws that must be removed, replaced or loosened when the service provider service allowed only parts. Take special note of each screw size and location during the removal and replacement.

The wireless card is not allowed for the replacement of the end user, so you are questioning the guarantee by. Also, your laptop can have 1 antenna wireless that will make almost impossible upgrade if it is true.

It would be the best card wifi HP offered and is really the best on the market in general:
