No Internet access - network/router wireless connection problem

I can't connect to the internet after installing Windows 7 64 bit. I can see the router wireless/network from my computer, but it has sometimes limited connectivity or it says connected but no internet access. I used Windows diagnostic tools to try to fix it but it does not work, and my router connects without a doubt to the internet such that I now use on a portable computer that is on the same network. I would like to know if anyone else has this problem and if they fixed. I tried to change the physical address of the connection to the local network, but it didn't work, I guess because I connect via radio and no cable, and I heard similar stories on other forums that this can be a problem more common I suspect. Thanks in advance for your answer, and all the details you need I'll try my best to provide.

OK I finally got to work, all we needed was for me to download the latest drivers (Realtek 8185 wireless card) off-site and install in compatibility mode, and then he worked all of a sudden. I hope this will help someone suffering from a similar problem!

  • After that Windows 7 conclusion "No Internet access" in the wireless network?

    I have a USB wireless network card installed in my office. All judging by the "connected network" showed, that he manages to connect to my wireless router, with I can't visit all websites due to "free Internet access". Only if I move my router where (almost) no wall blocking the path between my office and the router, will be solved the problem.

    There is no problems surfing the Internet using my laptop (Windows XP) and the iPad, which also connect to the router.

    I don't know what "No Internet access" while "Connected network" appears. To understand this, perhaps I should know what Windows 7 draws the conclusion "No Internet access" to the wireless network.

    Thank you, everyone. I managed to figure out the problem last night. With this document that I found by Googling, http://www.usb.org/developers/whitepapers/327216.pdf, I tried to disconnect my DVD ROM USB plugged next to my wireless network card and found that this really WORKED, although the DVD ROM is USB 2.0 instead of 3.0.

    In addition, as Shawn "Cmdr" Keene [MVP] said, I really need to I ignore the message "connected network". I ran the Ipconfig/all command frequently and found that sometimes the IP address of my wireless network card was no longer * 192.168.0 and the gateway, and the IP addresses of the DNS servers are null, even if the message "Connected network" remained all the time.

    Hope this helps others who also have this problem, even though my English is not very good. : )

    Several times during the day I lose my wireless internet connection. I am invited by Internet Explorer 8 to diagnose connection problems and get the XP Network Diagnostics. I select my router and wireless and the connection is restored successfully. The procedure is exactly the same each time. It seems that my computer detects the wireless connection, but there is a software problem. This just started happening the past few weeks and it drives me crazy. Can anyone help?

  • Pavillion G6 2014tx: wireless connectivity problems

    Since the last 2-3 months, my wireless connection does not work correctly. This happened right after that I did the partitioning in the D drive (I don't think this is the main cause). What is happening is that, all of a sudden when internet does not bar shows signs of yellow warning and 'tells' LIMITED ACCESS wireless network. When I try to solve problems, it will give no problem. Then in Device Manager, I tried to uninstall and install again, the internet worked for a while, and still the same problem occurs. When I tried to call to the service center, they told me that I have to buy CDs to retrieve a value of rs500 because I did not these recovery disks. I'm in serious trouble please help...

    I also tried to update latest driver frm net, even if the problem does not get resolved. I also tried to reset the TCPIP in cmd prompt, but it worked for 2-3 days and still the same problem happened...

  • Not to access Internet using WRT54G Router wireless

    I'll try to provide as much information as possible. My mother-in-law gave me his wrt54g router so that we could get Netflix through our Wii. I have an old Compaq laptop for a year and am running Windows 7 with a wireless Internet connection through my service provider. I installed the router with no problems and was able to do online with the Wii. However, I am more able to get Internet access on my desk. It shows that my Internet is connected but it displays "no network access.  I had on fine at first, then I went on the 192.168.1.1 site to configure my data.  I changed my time zone and then to secure my connection.  I don't remember the exact option that I chose, but I think it was something like personal WAP2. As soon as I selected the screen has frozen and I can not access this site or access the Internet through the router. If I unplug my Ethernet cable from the router and plug it directly into the pc I get very well online. I know that this router works with a PPPoE connection, because it's what my mother-in-law a. tried to get support from my ISP, but they left open-mouthed via chat.  Can someone help me understand how to get this router to allow me access so I can use office and the Wii?  Thank you.

    Fix it!  I called my local service provider and explains the problem. He had me go in the settings of the router and change the connection between "Connect on Demand ' and 'Keep Alive '.  Everything works fine now.  Thank you!

  • Window7 & RaLink 802.11n & problem of the Netgear WPN824v2 router wireless connection

    Kevin Hau recommends a new thread to solve individual problems.  It's here.  In February 2010, I bought a new LG X 130 notebook with Windows 7 starter pre-installed.  On the first day, connection Wi - Fi was intermittent, although wired connection works well.  Links for laptop to a Netgear WPN824 V2 router.  This router has a wired to my PC and wireless for Toshiba laptop of my wife.  These work perfectly.  The latter two works on Win 7 Home Premium.

    I put WEP as a security measure for the router and wireless connections.  The LG X 130 connect wirelessly from a cold start about 25% of the time.  When it is not connected, no problems.  It should be necessary to restart, otherwise the computer expires then all that I get is "no connection is available" and there is absolutely no way to reconnect.  Cold boot does not work and the computer seems to need to set off for several days before it will condescend to connect again.

    Internet gives hundreds of 'my solutions' research which none appear not to work.  All the drivers are up to date and the latest versions.  I tried without security, WPA, WPA2, as some people suggest that 802.11n does not support WEP.  I tried b & g 108Mbps mode rather than by car.  All of these more recent attempts have failed to get any connection. On a recent trip away, the laptop could find the hotel network, but not connect to it.  He made a useful paper weight!

    The problem is clearly intermittent.  The laptop was returned twice to LG.  For the first time, they reinstalled everything, got a connection and returned.  The second time, they got a call and returned.  I can get connections, but I can't keep or make it reliable.

    Grateful for a solution.

    everything indicates material ralink or driver at this point... here, I had a

    You have McAfee? McAfee has been updated at the same time as the last batch of updates from Windows 7 and this is the cause of problems of internet connection for most, if not all, users of McAfee.

    Hi RedskinsBnG,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         You get the error message?

    ·         He has already worked?

    Follow these methods.

    Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software .

    Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2: Follow these steps:

    Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.

    Step 2: If the problem does not persist in safe mode with networking, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the link step 7 to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

    Method 3: Follow the steps in the article.

  • U940 PSU6VA satellite - wireless connectivity problems

    _ * My specifications: * _
    * Model: * Toshiba Ultrabook (Satellite PSU6VA - 00S 002 U940)
    * Operating system: * Windows 8.1 x 64 (upgrade of Windows 8 x 64)
    * Wireless adapter: * Intel Centrino Wireless - N 2200
    * Wireless adapter driver version: * 15.10.0.12 (which is the last for my device)

    I got this Ultrabook since February 2013, and throughout this period, I always had problems with wireless connectivity, even after a factory reset. My wireless icon varies between three States:
    * Internet access
    * Limited (in which case I can't connect to the internet or any other device on the network)
    * Not connected - connections are available (and if I try to connect to the network, it will fail)

    Sometimes my computer would instantly reach the State of "Internet access" at startup and remain in this State. Other times, it would be 'limited' for several minutes after the start of my computer before it finally connected, and even in this case, the connection will drop out every now and then. In the worst case, it would indefinitely remain "Limited" or "not connected", regardless of how many times I reset my adapter wireless or rebooted my computer.

    Until very recently, I always thought that these problems have occurred randomly. However, I noticed recently that I have always a connection perfect, whenever there is no other computers connected wirelessly to my router, and I always have problems more or less when there is at least another computer (or even a smart phone) connected wireless to the router. If there is another computer connected to the router via an Ethernet cable, this causes no problems. It's only wireless connections that interfere with my computer.

    It is only this computer that has these problems; the other computers in my house ever experience these issues, no matter how many computers is online. In addition, my computer is not only these problems with my home router; It has the same problems on the network wireless at my University.

    My question is, how do I fix? Is this a known bug or is my defective wireless adapter? I know that I can connect using an Ethernet cable if possible (I have never problems with Ethernet connections), but this is not always possible at the University.

    Did you remove the old driver Win 8 Intel of the system before you upgrade to version 8.1 to win?
    The old Wlan Intel driver could affect the performance of a Wi - Fi connection.

    The driver update page Win 8.1 says clearly that Intel Wlan driver must be uninstalled and the
    Inbox Windows 8.1 version must be used.

    If so, make sure that devices such as radio, microwaves, mobile phones are kept at Bay.

    Hello

    1. do you have problems connecting with Windows 7 or Vista?
    2. you remember of any change to your computer before the problem?

    Make sure that there is no interference between your router and your computer. For example. Mobile phones, like the mobile signals could conflict with your router signals and therefore no connection to your computer.

    You can uninstall and reinstall the Device Manager wireless network card.

    To uninstall the wireless device manager,

    a. Click Start, type device manager in the search box of start and press ENTER.
    b. Locate the network adapters and expand the same.
    c. Select the wireless connection, right click and choose uninstall.
    d. restart the computer, if prompted.

    Pilots should settle automatically after the computer restarts.

    Now you can install the latest wireless drivers and check if this solves the problem.

  • Wireless connection problem - "could not contact the primary DNS server.

    Hello. As of today, I had an interesting problem with my connection wireless home.

    I have DSL, and my router (an Actiontec GT704-WG, for reference), periodically decides to abandon the internet connection throughout the entire family. This includes our parent unit, as well as my lap top which relies on a wireless connection.

    Today, I noticed that my laptop was switched to 'Access Local.' only I went to check my modem, only to find all the lights on the side were, and the computer was working fine. I tried to reset the wireless connection, activating / disabling the wireless and switch off, Plug and reconnect to the network without wire, as well as re-booting my computer. None of these things worked.

    I also received and error message that tells me it: "could not contact the primary DNS (fe80::341b:6831:1247:6707 11%).

    I don't know what this means, although I checked to make sure that my ISP address connects well, and as far as I can tell it is. I also checked everything that Microsoft suggested troubleshooting guides, nothing helps.

    I don't know if that makes a difference, but I noticed to my lap top more close to the router, the connection would come periodically power on and off. Also, these problems started occurring after that I installed and then uninstalled Firefox. I use Internet Explorer, but I wanted to try Firefox.

    Also, my computer is an application of Toshiba Satellite L305-S5944, running Vista Home Basic, I believe.

    I hope I've provided enough information.

    Go to the website of the manufacturer of your router > make sure you have the latest Firmware in Vista for it.
