HP 3520 printer: HP ending in favor of 3520

I read that HP will stop support & upgrades for the 3520 printer, he's too old.  Is this true?  I hope not.  I love this printer and have had no problems with it.   I hope to continue to use it until it dies.

Hello

I do not know a few years on the track, but at this stage we still have software and drivers for Windows 10:

  • My HP1022 prints but ends with flashing lights

    Hi everyone... my Mono HP Laserjet 1022 began flashing at the end of each test and so must be reset each time by cutting, turn everything now pressed both keys and releasing those when the flash sequence changes. It then prints on the next click-to-print and the process begins again. This occurs if printing via a USB cable or through your Time Capsule. He only did it because I changed routers to the most recent of BT, but the fact that the same thing happens when I connect via USB is confusing...

    I use Lion and also did the usual "ERD" etc., but no change.

    Any ideas please?

  • AppleScript code to print a single sheet of numbers

    Is it possible to print a sheet of numbers with AppleScript (ideally with no dialog)? I am wanting to loop through a set of sheets in a specific order and print them so they will print in this order. Thank you!

    I don't have a printer here to test entirely, but this should do what you want.  The basic approach is to have the AppleScript to say number to go to a journal (from the active sheet of adjustment) and print it.

    The print order follows the order of the names of journal entry on first line of the script.

    SG

    sheetNames value to {"Sheet1", "Worksheet 3", "Leaf 2"}

    Repeat with an s in the sheetNames

    Try

    printSheet (s)

    on error

    display the dialog box "Check the journal names" buttons "Cancel".

    end try

    end Repeat

    to printSheet (shtName)

    say application "Numbers".

    say front document

    calculation sheet current defined in sheet shtName

    print

    end say

  • What to do now that Adobe ended support for Flash Player 10.3?

    Adobe ended in favor of Flash Player 10.3 July 9. Downloads are no longer available anywhere where I can find. 11.7 said Adobe is now the version 'extended' version. Since 10.3 is the only solution when the latest version of Flash Player will not work with Firefox, what do we do now? I tested each version of Flash Player after 10.3, and each begins to crash several times after 24 hours. Each time, retired to 10.3 is the only solution. The other suggestions in the help of Firefox do not work. I uninstalled 10.3 a few days ago to test 11.8 - later. It does not work with Firefox. Now, I could install only 11.7. She has not has not yet, but it'll probably be tomorrow.

    If Flash Player 11.8 and 11.7 do not work, and 10.3 is not available, what can we do?

    You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:

    • disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
    • Disable protected mode in the plugin Flash (Flash 11.3 + on Windows Vista and later versions)
    • turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
  • HP Photosmart 5520: HP Photosmart 5520 suddenly will not print or scan

    Suddenly is no longer able to scan or print on HP Photosmart 5520. With the scan function I use scanning to e-mail, but, after long 'Preparation scanning' on the screen of the printer, the error message "temporarily unavailable.  "Please try again later". With the impression that I use Google Cloud Print (from an Acer Chromebook) and all that happens is that the demand to print everything ends up in a queue of print jobs.  No error message appears on the printer screen. The copy function works fine.  Wireless network printing results are very good.  The printer worked fine for over a year.  Can anyone help?  Thanks in advance.

    Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer.

    It's all very mysterious, but it seems to have corrected itself.  Finally, the 'out of paper' error message appeared yesterday (there were many), I pushed in the paper and things started to print again.  I was also able to rescan.  Not sure if she was no longer a problem of Google or what but we are in service again.

    Thank you very much!

  • How to cancel a print job

    On a HP office jet Pro 8620, without entering the dialoge box and pause/cancel - it takes too long and the print job ends before I can tell to cancel if it's a couple of pages long.

    Hello SuzyQ42,

    Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see you are using a HP Officejet Pro 8620 and want to know how to cancel a print job without going into the printer dialog box.

    You can do this by pressing the red X on the front panel of your JO 8620 after sending the print job.

    I hope this helps!

    Thank you

  • 6510 all-in-one does not print in black

    Hello

    So my off-warranty 6510 has started to not print in black. I bought this in August 2012, and it has been pretty reliable.

    Now it just won't print black. I searched through these forums and I feel like a big community now - I'm not alone with this problem.

    I did print without end cleaning of the printer head and my PC (until the option has disappeared!). Print head alignment failed. And I have replaced the cartridge.

    As it is not in warranty, I took the print head and gave him a * beep * clean. When he was replaced, it only printed a page in black (bad), then no more.

    Print in color if fine, except now (after that numerout head cleans) most of the ink levels are low.

    Stupidly, I expect a miracle and that a HP representative will respond and provide a kind of solution, but I think I know it's out of the dumpster. It'll be the 3rd death of HP printers in 4 years (the first 2 were replaced by the store - Costco).

    At least now that my stock of cartridges is exhausted, I am not bound to HP again as if I was the last time.

    Sort problem. Thank you very much for your support.

  • How to make the bluetooth printer or wireless active

    I have a printer hp laserjet m1132. I have a wireless network in my house. How to use this printer through bluetooth or wireless connection. can I use a bluetooth or wireless cart to make this work. Please help me.

    Hello

    Its spaces, it must:

    Connectivity

    HP ePrint ability NO.
    WiFi functionality NO.
    Connectivity, standard Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port
    Connectivity, optional None

    To make this printer wireless, one option is to use a wireless USB print server, something like one of them:

    https://www.Google.com.au/search?q=USB+wireless+print+server&hl=en&TBO=u&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENAU282&source=Univ&TBM=shop&SA=X&EI=R5vJUOjiEoqZiQfeuIDwBg&SQI=2&ved=0CEoQrQQ&BIW=1920&BiH=976

    My suggestion: buy a new printer, can end up better and not need to have headaches.

    Another option If your caught router supported (can be used) print server USB and in this case, no need to buy the mentioned above device.

    Kind regards.

  • MY PRINTER CANNOT PRINT FROM MY COMPUTER

    My Photosmart HP 7520 will not print on the computer.  It will not print a test page, but when I asked to print all print diagnostic results very well and there is no problem according to the print.  My printer is a wireless printer and suddenly don't print documents, E-Mails, etc.  When I send a document to the printer, it ends up in the file "document expectation."  I erased it but it always print from computer to the printer.

  • M601: Manufacturing of Laserjet M601 clicking noise when printing

    I have a laserjet M601, which has just started to make a rattling noise when it prints.  Looks like it is close to the top right corner before somewhere under the screen.  It snaps when a page is caught to start printing.  I hear a 3-5 clicks when the paper is caught, then it stops for the rest of the page.  If multiple pages print, click before the beginning of each page to be printed.  All other prints are normal.  The print job ends very well and all is well.  I only hear it clicking now and it seems to be deteriorating.  Thoughts?  Thank you.

    Hello

    I have some further thoughts on this. Are you sure that the manual tray loading produces noise? They use different pickup assemblies. If we have confirmed both tray 2 and Tray 1 (manual feed tray) produce the same noise that we have to look at what they have in common. Toner, transfer roller, editing of the main landing gear, & fuser.

    What type of toner cartridge do you use? If possible can you exchange with others and print a test page? If the problem persists, what is the number of pages on the printer? Have you recently replaced a maintanece kit?

  • OfficeJet 4500 G510n-z: HP Office Jet 4500 G510n-z fails to print over wireless network

    Hello

    Earlier my XP (Dell D620) machine stopped printing wireless with my officejet 4500 G510n-z. My Windows 7 D630 prints wirlessly without any problem. I have download the current HP drivers without result. I looked at other positions, but none of the viable solutions. The 4500 G510n-z appears as a printer, but all print jobs end with an error. I can't print a test page, Notepad, etc. All jobs appear on the queue, but they all error. It seems to be a specific problem of the XP. I have XP pro version 2002 Service pack 3. My network is just a Verizon Fios wireless router. In windows 7, I can see the actual address of the Hp wireless connection when the printer is added. Under Xp I do not see the address wireless when I try to add the printer. Now, it appears in the list of printers on XP but 7 seems to see the actual address wireless and allows me to select it to add the printer. I plugged the XP machine to the printer and it would work for a while then stops working. Don't know what triggers the loss of connection. How can I specify the connection 4500 G510n-z XP? I tried to add the IP address I see on my 7 machine but XP wants to a path of the server which is //server etc., UNC path.

    I went in the properties of the printer and changed the address to match the 7 IP 192.168.1.3 192.168.1.9 Windows 7 XP, but not go again.

    Thank you

    Al

    Hello @adb1779,

    Thanks for getting back to me on this subject. Because the ping tests on both computers is successful when communicating with your wireless printer, it turns out that you do not encounter a network issue at all. On the contrary, there is either a program of 'blocking' of printing wirelessly on your XP computer or computer XP is not "like" the fact that you have changed the IP address of 192.168.1.3 to 192.168.1.9. It would seem that your XP computer is a former connection with the printer. To resolve this problem, please follow the steps below.

    Step 1: Launch MSCONFIG:

    I'll have you temporarily disable all programs background on your XP system to see if there is a program that runs in the background on your Windows XP computer that would block communication with your printer.

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Click run. In the Run dialog box, type msconfig and click OK
    3. When the System Configuration window opens select 'Selective Startup ' and uncheck load startup items
    4. Click the Services tab, check the box at the bottom to hide all Microsoft Services
    5. Select disable all
    6. Select apply and OK
    7. Computer restart when prompted

    When your Windows XP computer turns please try printing. If the printer works correctly now it would mean that a program was blocking the communication. If the problem persists, proceed to the steps below.

    Step 2: Uninstall the drivers:

    I understand that you have already done this in the past without result. However, if your product is identified as on 192.168.1.3 she is not installed correctly, or an earlier version of the printer with an old IP isn't be properly removed from the system. It is crucial for the repairs we have a clean slate to work with. Please follow the steps below.

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Click on programs
    3. Select the HP folder
    4. Select your HP Officejet
    5. Select Uninstall
    6. Please follow the instructions on the screen to complete the uninstallation.

    Once the uninstall is complete, proceed to the next step.

    Step 3: Clear the server properties:

    Your printer driver can also be installed under the print server properties. I'll have to make sure your driver has been completely removed from both print server.

    1. click on the Start menu

    2. Select Printers. You may need to go to the Control Panel then Printers and faxes.

    3. in printers and faxes click on file and select Server properties

    4. in the print server properties window, select the drivers tab

    5. If your HP Officejet is listed, click on it and select Remove downstairs.

    6. a new window opens, click on Remove only the driver. Click OK.

    7. Select apply and then OK in the print server properties window.

    8. close printers and fax machines.

    Step 4: Delete the temporary files:

    1. Click on the start menu
    2. Select run. In the Run dialog box, type %temp% , and then click OK
    3. Click on the Start menu
    4. When the Temp folder opens, Select the first item in the Temp folder and tap the SHIFT key on your keyboard.  Now Shift while, scroll down a few lines and click on another element in the file. What is between these two elements will highlight.
    5. Select the "delete" button on your keyboard. The Temp folder contains the temporary internet files. None of the actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting Temp files. If a Temp file be used yet that you will automatically get the pop-up that you can't delete this item. The "deletion" process is cancelled. On Windows Vista, 7 and 8 of Windows you can just "jump" from the items which will not delete. Unfortunately, on Windows XP, it is not so easy. Take note of this point is unable to delete. Then, ignore this element. Click on the next element in the list, hold the SHIFT key and click another item in the list to remove another piece of elements. You will continue this tedious step until all items in the Temp folder which will remove are deleted.
    6. Close the Temp folder when it is empty
    7. Right-click the recycling bin on your desktop and select empty recycling bin

    Step 5: Reinstall the drivers:

    1. Please click here to download the drivers for your printer
    2. Once the site opens click on the download button at the top left
    3. Once the download is complete, follow the instructions on the screen to reinstall your printer wireless
    4. Once your printer is properly reinstalled please try again to print wireless.

    Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. Good luck!

  • HP Envy 4500: HP envy Wi - Fi printing and 4500 - half page only

    I'm trying to print from my HP envy 4500 from my top of Dell Windows 7 Desktop Professional.  I only get half of the page and the printer never ends the book, so I always have to pull him out.  It's so weird, because all my HP printers before the pages flew and I always pick up out of the ground.

    The amount of data, I get a page can vary - sometimes a few more lines than the other.

    Sometimes I get the header of a page on another page background (for a while I thought it was a problem with the paper, but this can happen many times even with a few pieces of paper (no stuffing).)

    I turned on and off several times and still no luck.  Please advise!

    Hi @kwhitebuy,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

    I noticed that you can print half page, with your HP Envy 4500, Windows 7 wireless printer. I'm happy to help with this problem!

    What happens when you try to print a test page from the printer control panel? Video: printing a Test Page. The same thing happens?

    If so, please try the steps outlined in this guide, an "out of paper" message. As it will show you how to clean the rollers in the printer. (Even if the title of the guide may not correspond to your question, I think that the solutions will help.)

  • Macro for printing spreadsheets

    Hello

    Is there any option (formula or macro) in Excel that allows you to print one sheet of another without opening it.

    Example: If there are 5 sheets, can print us sheet-2 or 3 or 4 or 5 on worksheet 1 itself, individually (not print all sheets).

    If so, please provide the same.

    Thanks in advance

    Hey! I had found the answer...

    We can use the macro by giving the VBA code...

    We have an option to print either the entire workbook by using the following VBA code

    Void PrintAllSheets()

    '

    Dim M As Long, N As Long, Firstsht as long, Lastsht As Long, sheet As Object

    '

    Lastsht = Sheets.Count

    M = 0: N = Lastsht

    '

    For each sheet in the sheets

    If not Sheet.Visible then N = N - 1

    If Sheet.Visible and Sheet.Type = xlWorksheet Then

    If case (Sheet.UsedRange) = 0 Then

    N = N - 1

    End If

    End If

    Next

    '

    Firstsht = 1 to Lastsht

    '

    If Sheets (Firstsht). Visible = True Then

    '

    If not TypeName (Sheets (Firstsht)) = "Chart" then

    If case (Sheets (Firstsht). UsedRange) <> 0 Then

    M = M + 1

    GoSub DoPrint

    End If

    Else ' otherwise it's a chart

    M = M + 1

    GoSub DoPrint

    End If

    '

    End If

    '

    Next ' Firstsht

    Exit Sub

    DoPrint:

    With Sheets (Firstsht). PageSetup

    . CenterHeader = "& F! & one ".

    . CenterFooter = "Page" & CStr (M) & "of" & N

    . RightFooter = "?" & CStr (Year (Date))

    . FitToPagesWide = 1

    . FitToPagesTall = 1

    Ends with

    Associated with the Application

    . EnableEvents = False

    Sheets (Firstsht). PrintPreview '. Print

    . EnableEvents = True

    Ends with

    Return

    End Sub

    Otherwise, we can create a macro that leads to give the name of the excel sheet, we need to print... the following vba code helps us create the macro

    Void Button92_Click()

    Dim Nom_feuille As String
    Nom_feuille = Application.InputBox ("enter a sheet name")
    Sheets (sheetName). Print

    End Sub

    How to use vba code is

    ALT + F11--> Insert--> Module--> copy the code above and paste the same--> Alt + Q

    In the Excel worksheet.

    In developer--> tab insert controls on a form--> button-->

    Click the button and it prompts to select the Macro, we created.

    (In the absence of the Developer tab, file--> options Excel--> Popular--> Show Developer tab in the Ribbon.) (Check the same and the tab will be displayed)

  • Unable to print message body of Outlook Express.

    Hello

    I try to print an e-mail message from Outlook Express on XP Professional. When I click on file, print, email is sent to the printer and it prints only the header information. I tried open the message and then print and end up with the same results. I tried to uninstall IE8 and Outlook Express, and then restarted the reinstalled through the applet add or remove programs in Control Panel. Could you help me with this? Once more, the body of the email printed in white, and the only thing that prints is the header. Thank you

    I solved the problem. There was a conflict with IE8 and OE6. I uninstalled IE8 and then installed IE7. The body of the messages now print from OE6. I then went through the process of regular update again to install IE8 on my system and the messages still print all information. Thanks for all the help.
