HP 4180 ceased to recognize installed ink cartridges which were working.
my printer asks me to install ink cartridges previously working. I went through all the suggested steps, cleaning, delivery, etc. I tried to change the black cartridge which seems to come out when I opened the door, regardless of how I try to put it. Before I got the error message, everything worked.
This problem has been resolved. The cartridges have been correctly installed.

Out of the blue, it just ceased to recognize the color cartridge has been installed, to give me the 'E' in the first window of the printer. In the second window of the printer, it is the icon of the levels of two ink with a flashing color, blank display, with an arrow pointing to it. I tried ALL steps suggested, by removing and reinstalling, cleaning the drive cartridge and printhead into the printer as shown, installing a new cartridge. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the software! Once in a blue moon, during several removals and reinstallings of the cartridge, it will record long enough to print a document, and then it returns to the same error message. It's just over a year (so, of course, the warranty has expired :-{) and I am at my wit's end! Help, please!?
Note: The cartridge first, this has happened with was about 1/3 full when the problem started (or ink levels told me til now and every time she recognize it thereafter, but briefly. With the new cartridge, it always does the same thing, only show the cartridge as full when it recognizes, but I can't even have her now! :-{It looks like the sensor that detects that the ink cartridge is off. I'm afraid you need to replace the printer.

I have the printer inkjet Epson stylus C 45. When an ink cartridge Epson gets sold out and I replace this cartridge with an Epson cartridge refilled, the printer does not recognize this refill cartridge. As a result, no printing could be done. Is there a way to make the printer accepts the reloaded cartridges?

It is a hardware problem. It seems that some printer settings must be modified to get the cartridge that is recognized by the printer.

New ink cartridges do not work
I inherited a printer HP Deskjet 3070, which has already been used. I bought new ink cartridges, but when trying to install these has received the error message that I need to use the cartridges of the establishment to assess the ink levels and once this is done can change for the new cartridges.
Unfortunately, the printer cartridges comes with do not seem to be setting up those and now the printer accept the original or the new.
Does anyone know how I can go forward - it doesn't seem to be any problem with the printer?

A cartridge of the same size that the color cartridge would be the photo cartridge. This is not interechangable with the black cartridge, you will need a black cartridge.

Hello
Turn the printer off
Unplug the printer from the computer and the wall outlet
Reinstall the cartridges
Support all the ink cartridges until they snap into place to make sure that they are well housed
Close the cartridge cover and push it down until it snaps
Close the scanner
Press on the Stop button to start loading of ink. It takes about 2 minutes.
When the the light stops flashing and remains on, the ink load is complete
Caution: Never turn off the Epson Stylus CX while ink is in charge or you'll be wasting ink.
If the ink light flashes, press on the Stop button and lower all the cartridges safely
Manually clean the print heads
Plug the printer into the wall outlet and the computer. Turn it on and try printing again.

HP Deskjet 3050: Problems installing ink cartridges
I have a HP Deskjet 3050 all-in-in-one J610 series. I purchased & installed a black cartridge 61 and see the message on my printer: "authentic black HP print cartridge installed - ok. However, when I try to click on the button next to 'ok' nothing happens. I try by clicking New, or the one above (as in, maybe I clicked on the wrong button), and I turned my printer and turn it back on. Nothing changes. I'm unable to complete installation of ink cartridges and print anything.
Can someone tell me what is the problem?
It's almost that the Ok button is not responding, or only works intermittently. You took the message of cartridge which means it must have admitted you pressed OK. What happens if you just keep trying to press OK, maybe try a little more pressure when you press it, or hold down the key longer than you should have to. Looks like it may be a hardware problem, you may consider giving us a call.

I see that you can not install the cartridges and you have a metal bar that prevents you. You must turn on the printer and the metal bar should move down when you lift the front cover of the printer.
The basic installation Guide, page 12 shows how this. Here's what you can do.
To install or replace the ink cartridges:
1. If the printer is turned off, press the button control panel of the printer market.
2. lift the printer cover.
3. press the print cartridge latch and pull it forward. The print cartridge latch opens automatically.
4. If you are replacing an ink cartridge, slide the old print cartridge and the store, recycle or throw away.Hope this helped... !!

I'm sorry you have a problem with the printer. Here is a document for your printer model that responds to an error of rejection for the cartridge. It provides solutions to try to correct this error with the cartridges one example of one of the steps planned by ensuring that the build-up on the contacts are not the source of the error of rejection. I'm having the same problem. New cartridge. I bought a pack of three for $59.00. I think to install a new one and return to the rest of the three Pack if one is defective. Don't know what else to do.

Please perform the below mentioned steps, which should solve the problem.
- Check the level of ink on the ink cartridges, it should be full of > 25%.
- Press on the SETUP ( button tool key icon), and then
- Press TOOLS , and then select CLEAN PRINTHEAD.
You may be able to execute the above mentioned as follows at least for 2 - 3 times.
If the problem persists, call the HP TECHNICAL SUPPORT for assistance.

HP Officejet 6700 main Premium: Blue ink cartridge does not work
Hello, I have checked the ink cartridges levels three color and just installed a new black ink cartridge. I did a test of color, which shows any blue. I did all three levels of cleaning the cartridge heads. The screen still shows that I have adequate levels of ink, but no blue out at all! There was a drop of blue outside the cartridge, so it's not like it is clogged. Thank you!

With the help of HP ink cartridges which have been refilled.

If this is the case, then
- These people mean that perhaps it is a way of deterrence - as a way to deter you from using filled cartridges in the first place? Personal opinion: printing software is not likely to be vindictive.
- The results can be completely benign - the printer and/or the software may not be able to read the contents correctly the cartridges 'foreigners '.
I was never in a position where I had to use reloaded cartridges.
I use in my PhotoSmart 7520 564XL cartridges - HP cartridges show completely full when it is installed. The conduct of the audit software say "estimated ink levels".

You can get a better idea of whether the ink is actually 'low' for starters if you check the number of pages printed - compare the number when you start a new cartridge (s) (game of) for the number of sheets printed when you need to replace the cartridges. Check the total against the number of sheets that must be printed at the size of the cartridge.
You can check with Costco for the number of estimaterd of leaves, you can imagine by charged cartridge.
Another important factor: the printer will answer as seems it. If Costco said you should get 200 sheets per cartridge and you get 100 sheets, then this is what you get. This is true for any cartridge. You must take into account the types of documents or printed photos.
It's certainly a bit of work for an ink cartridge - it will give you an idea of whether you are in fact save money using reloaded cartridges.

Black ink cartridge stopped working. I replaced the cartridge with a new cartridge, HP 564 XL. Used printer clean print head and Align tools. Received message 'alignment failed.
