HP 4500 ENVY: I have a HP ENVY 4500 and impossible to activate scan-to-computer.

I'm unable to scan documents on my copier/printer/scanner. I did some troubleshooting by entering the IP address in my iPad that I was instructed to do and told me that the "scan-to-computer" function had been disabled. But I can't understand how to re-enable the feature "scan-to-computer". All other features of my HP ENVY 4500 work correctly; the scanner is the only thing that I can't go to work. When I try to scan anything that a message appears on the printer screen that says: NO COMPUTER FOUND Make the printer software is installed on your computer, and that "Scan to Computer" is selected.

Hello

Scanning to a computer from the front panel to scan to a computer with Windows or Mac OS X, not a Tablet as I understnd of your information.

Since iPad you can scan by launching the scan from the HP AIO Printer Remote app, not the printer itself.

You can follow these steps to scan from a mobile device:

Kind regards
