Variant of error 91 to string

Hello

I'm new to Labview and had tried to run a query simple database (MySQL). Although until now have failed at this. Can someone tell me what may I do wrong here?

Now, I tried to neaten up upward pattern-block... all I wanted to do was to run this query "Select name of labview where username ="nik91uee"" "

The query works fine now. The problem was due to no matches found (error Null). The error message that is generated, however, was misleading. It has now been resolved.

Salvation;

I'm new to this forum. I'm looking with the help of an expert.

I use laserjet printer on windows 8.1 nfw M1217 x 64 bit. my printer stop responding after I did a last update of the firmware (20150405) which displays an error message (no string RO).

My printer is connected as the printer network through a router (usb connection).

I've updated the software (LJM1130_M1210_MFP_Full_Solution) using the HP installation wizard and after restart windows and followed by updating the firmware of the printer using the installation wizard HP, all of a sudden without doing anything the software gaves a message ' disconnected printer and maybe it restarts or IP changed "while the printer was showing status programming. I didn't touch the printer for 3 hours and message was the same (programming), then I turned off the printer and restarted again, and I found this message (no string RO).

I think I enter the firmware udate issue although I did the meeting recommended using the HP Installation Wizard, I guess the firmware has not detected the problem before installing the firmware.

Unfortunetly my warranty period ended last year.

Any help would be gratful.

Hi suhail900,

Yes, I would like to try the update of the firmware again. He may not recognize the printer much. But the last resort would be to reset I sent you in the MP.

• Variant data vs Flattened to string

Hi all

I haven't worked a lot with the type of a variant in LabVIEW and after having read about a few items, I wonder what is the fundamental difference between a flattened chain and a variant data type.

I read somewhere that the variant data types also contain metadata that includes the data type there and again we need to wire the data type to the function 'variant data. Why?

What is the case of the use of the variant data type? I think essentially to a use case where flattened string cannot do a job which variant data type can do.

Thank you

• Unit test: disassembly of the table or restore the line failed: ORA-06502: PL/SQL: digital error or value: string buffer too small ORA-06512: at line 22

Is any idea available in the process of disassembly of the table or restore the line to line 22?

I see a bunch of discussions on the subject, but no clear solution/answer...

What could be the causes of this error?

I had two process of disassembly on the level now, and one of them had failed with this error. Displacement of the failure of the process of disassembly compared to the level of the suite for the level of performance of test unit solved the error for a while, but after some more dragging the process of disassembly of the table (with about 500 cases) is permanent.

No UTL_FILE

I need to use the REEL spool the resulting XML data of the SELECT query.

SQL is a standard in my org, but I can do with a PL/SQL solution also to load data into a table (cannot use a COIL with PL/SQL)

What I do is:

1. a column of type CLOB to a xml_report of the loading of the above SELECT query table
2. Then using SELECT * FROM xml_report to SPOOL the data to a file report.xml

No need of XMLTYPE data behind. Xml data stream is fine for me.

In addition, I need to validate the XML file, also using XSD.

Problem is that the resulting lines of the select query are supposed to be from 15000 to 20000 bytes long.

It looks like I can choose only 4000 characters using the SELECT statement (please, correct me if I'm wrong)

You use the right method.

There is an implicit conversion from XMLType to the data type VARCHAR2 as expected by the function TO_CLOB, where the limitation, and the error.

To serialize XMLType to CLOB, use the XMLSerialize function:

SELECT XMLSerialize (DOCUMENT

XMLELEMENT ("accounts",

...

)

)

OF ANY_TABLE;

For the rest of the requirement, I wish you good luck trying to spool the XML correctly.

You may need to play around with the SET LONG and SET LONGCHUNKSIZE commands to operate.

(1) first of all, I'm sorry for not posting my question according to the rules of the forum, next time I'll take care of that.
(2) Secondly, thanks for the solution, I have no exp with clob, but I can take a deeper look later.
(3) I just want to know if there are any other wayout, you mean the second concatenation of 4000 bytes sys_connect_by_path exhausts it might return this error?

SYS_CONNECT_BY_PATH returns a VARCHAR2 data type. In SQL VARCHAR2 data type is limited to 4000 bytes, then Yes, you will get an error if the data that you generate is greater than 4000 bytes (and I say bytes rather than characters, because if your database uses a multibyte multi character set could be as little as 1000 characters)

I'm right now stable for a table who got 62 columns... I have tables that have 200 close passes: (, great, if you can throw some light on this, if your the best way and the only one to achieve?)

If you really need to concatenate strings together which exceeds 4000 bytes, then Yes you must use CLOB to store data. Oracle does not provide a native way to aggregate together in a CLOB datatype string, so why you need to write your own function.

PS: just a quick overview of my value, it will be by comparing schema1.table (s) with shema2.table (s) where table_name must be the same...

So why are you information concatenation together to achieve this goal?

• error code and string exchanged in python application

Hello.

1. I am writing the python program that uses 2.4.16 last dbxml. It seems that it is small bug there. I'm capture the blocking error when you try to manage the blockages. And when I catch him, I don't have the error string and the error code exchanged. Example of code might look like this:

def some_function (self):
Bq. # & lt; some preparations here & gt; ------While retry and max_tries & gt; 0:BQ. Try: bq. If self._transaction:bq. result = expr.execute (self._transaction, self._context)
Another thing:
Bq. result = expr.execute (self._context)
Self._RESULT = result.__iter__)
Self._executed = True
Retry = False

the XmlException exception, inst:
Bq. print inst.what # does not print the string, but the code here ("-30095")-inst.getDbErrno (print) # not print the code, but the chain here ("" Error: DB_LOCK_DEADLOCK: Locker killed to resolve a deadlock ' ")------# so with this bug I have to write the following code:------if inst.what == DB_LOCK_DEADLOCK:bq. max_tries-= 1------retry = True
Bq. If self._transaction:bq. Self._transaction. Abort()

Another thing:
Bq. raise DatabaseError (inst.getDbErrno)

2. actually, I managed a blockage in a very simple way. I just launch 2 proceccess, insert the new node at the end of the same node in the same container. Blockages appear just after the second process is executed. How does such a thing happen? Simple simultaneous writing should we not resolved with locking and blocking of the system? The second process to wait for the first transaction finsh, shouldn't it?
3. I have a question about contexts. I can create two types of contexts - XmlQueryContext and XmlUpdateContext. Which of them should I use when I do a query that updates/inserts/replaces only some nodes in the document without having to work with the entire document with i.e. function updateDocument? The lock type is type of context or it is decided later after analysis of the query?

Hello

1. the XmlDatabaseException seems to have a constructor with arguments in the wrong order:
def __init__ (self, dberr, msg):
should be
def __init__ (self, msg, dberr):
In dbxml.py in the XmlDatabaseError constructor. Make sure that change and I would like to know how it works.

2. it depends on how you insert. If you insert a query which, apparently, you can do it is likely that the query part is what's blocking with the update. Calls simultaneous putDocument() in 2.4.16 will tend to back up on another. No matter, if you make simultaneous anything, you must manage the blocking. There will be less because the container expands.

3 contexts - use the one that calls the API. Querys, put to date or not, call for XmlQueryContext. Direct update (except Java) operations call for XmlUpdateContext. It can be made optional in Python in the future, but for now, it isn't.

Kind regards

George

• I do not write script or Javascript, but all of a sudden I got this error "expected identifier string or number.

and it is followed by 'store_list' is null or not an object. This happens randomly and takes the number of clicks to get rid of. Any ideas for a fix? Thank you.

Hello Bamatoni,

If you would please provide additional information about your application, I would be very happy. Also, I'll include some steps that can be beneficial for your inquiry.

-Cleanboot Windows to isolate 3rd party interference

-Create an another user account and check if the issue is still occurring

-System restore your computer to a date and time when he worked with success.

-Reset THE default settings.

-When you receive this message?

If you please you would follow with me at your convenience, I would be very happy.

• literal error string not ending whenever firefox opens a page.

Every time firefox opens a new page, the error appears. He said: error Javascript at the top of the window for error - and the error is 'incomplete string literal. It is very annoying, some pages have several instances of the error window popping up above the other. I rebooted, no change program. I'm ready to give up and go to the Chrome (which has no error)

This problem may be caused by an extension that is not working properly.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

• Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit ' (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: Firefox > quit Firefox. Linux: Firefox/file > exit)

• EXCEL ActiveX + error '-2146827284' (but not the string length limit)

Hi all

First of all thanks for your help!

I have a strange error with excel activeX: "-2146827284!"

Why strange? Because my export feature works perfectly on a computer but not on another... (both are windows 7 + Excel 2007)

How my application works:

I have to read an excel spreadsheet which preserves made with different types of instruments of measures.

For each type of instrument, I have to create a specific worksheet with its measures.

For example:

1 spreadsheet excel with the many measures of 4 different types of instruments

SHOULD GIVE

4 excel spreadsheets containing the measures of each instrument (1 worksheet for a type of instrument).

Hope I am clear...

Why I do with LV? Because it's fun!

Now that some snapshoot.

1 - where the bug appears :

2 - the message I get (translated from french to English):

Additional information:

-The size of the string I have write in excel cells is 6 characters max. More I put a condition to return an error if the string length is > 900 characters.

Thanks a lot for your help!

SO simple...

It was just the name of the folder...

I coded the name of the folder as a constant aim dev. And I do not mind that the name of the folder is not the same on both computers!

"a missing letter = a week closed.

Arrrgh

all sorry to bother you

• String to date--> avoid errors

Hello!

I have a utility function that converts me a string to a Date:

Like for example a stringDate: "10.12.2010 18:30.

public static function stringToDate(stringDate:String):Date {
var date:String = stringDate.split(" ")[1];
var timeArray:Array = date.split(":");
var d:Date = DateField.stringToDate(stringDate, "DD.MM.YYYY");
d.setHours(Number(timeArray[0]), Number(timeArray[1]), Number(timeArray[2]), 0);
return d;
}

My problem is, that a user has the option to enter a Textfield in the chain, so it is possible that there is an error in the string.

And if I call the function with an invalid stringDate, I get an error.

How to avoid this? I know I should use a DateChooser, but it's in my first version is not possible.

So, how can I avoid an error in this function and return a 'new Date(); for example

Thanks a lot in advance & Best looks.

Hello

You can use the try catch block in order to avoid the runtime error and return new Date(), if there is no string not valid and an error occurred...

If your function should look like below:

public static void stringToDate(stringDate:String):Date {}
Try
{
var date: String = stringDate.split("") [1];
var timeArray:Array = date.split(":");
var d: Date = DateField.stringToDate (stringDate, DD. ("' MR. YYYY");
d.setHours (Number(timeArray[0]), Number(timeArray[1]), Number(timeArray[2]), 0);
return d;
}
catch(Error:Error)
{
return new Date();
}
return new Date();
}

In fact, the error occurs at lines below in various cases...

var timeArray:Array = date.split(":");
d.setHours (Number(timeArray[0]), Number(timeArray[1]), Number(timeArray[2]), 0);

If it's better you put it in the catch block so that you can avoid the error to enter...

• Saving the JSON files with Notepad in UTF-8 format causes error in Unflatten of JSON VI

After doing a flatten to JSON and write in the text file, I open the file in Notepad and edited one of the fields. Then I registered under and marked 'UTF-8 '. The function JSON Unflatten fails with the 375003 error "the JSON string is not valid. The JSON strings must be encoded in UTF - 8 and must conform to the JSON grammar.

I did change the numerical value in the field. Does Notepad save not a 'real' UTF-8 file? Someone else had this problem? Which makes it pretty hard to let users to change if the software cannot read it.

Notepad adds a BOM header said at the beginning of the text file. This indicates a conscious drive UTF UTF type so boutien multibyte UTF encodings (e.g. UTF-16, UTF-16BE, UTF-32). Unfortuntaly notebook is so 'smart' to do it seamlessly and without any notification.

If you use Notepad ++, or any other smarter text editor, you can avoid this problem of having this BOM autmagically added to the file to save.

Basically, UTF - 8, you get three codes hexadecimal 0xEF, 0xBB, 0xBF at the start of the file. You can read the file yourself and check these three characters in this order and remove them if they exiist, before passing the string to your string in JSON format Unflatten and everything should be good.

See here for more details on the UTF BOM.
