• 2910al - 48G Switch: problem with the VLAN

  Hi all,

  I write a new message because I don't know what is happening on my SW series 2910al - 48G and v1910 - 48G.

  I put on the main core SW VLAN 610 and I put to this VLAN IP addreess 100.110.10.1 24-bit etc and it worked fine until yesterday. I change only PLEASE and I enebale STP - loop protect for ports in the range 1-52. (now I rolback this settings as was before)

  Now, every PC that has for a long time what IP range 100.110.10.1 24-bit works fine, but new PC have problem with to get the new IP address. I tested it add a static and same address does not work.

  I connect this flexible switch this \port SW 2910 - G 48, 46 (Vlan 610 tag) <>- at v1910-48G\ port 50 SW (Vlan 610 tahgged) other ports on this switch I put not marked.

  I blieve 48 ports have same speed (Giga) and will 25 page show you how to connect. It does not use the intellectual property, it uses type setup old modem to connect.

• Problem with port 20 on ProCurve 2910al - 48G - POE

  I recently sent 5 x ProCurve 2910al - 48G - POE switches connected to 2 x ProCurve 5412zl.  I have a problem that port 20 does not seem to work on all 5 predisposees.  What is a config problem?

• ESXi 5.0.0 623860 and HP Procurve 2810 - 48G grouping/Trunk

  I have a VMware ESXi 5.0.0 623860 host running two Windows VM well enough. The host material is an HP Proliant DL 380 G5 server.

  This host is Gbit Ethernet connected to a HP Procurve 2810 - 48G (J9022A) switch via two cables UTP Cat 5e.

  I want to configure an ethernet trunk using the two ports of the switch for fault tolerance and failover disaster link.

  I have telnet switch and configure ports like Trunk3 with TRUNK (not LACP) option as shown in this picture:

  

  To the ESXi side I'll to the vSphere Clent to Configuration-> networking-> vSwitch0-> properties-> Edit-> grouping of NETWORK cards, then set the option Load Balancing on "Route based on the IP hash" as shown in the following image:

  

  At that time, with or without restarting the software Procurve or ESXi host I ping the host and two virtual machines in it, but after about 10-15 minutes, I lose connectivity to the host (ping stops). So if I disconnect one of the UTP cables connect it again.

  I don't know if these are the good configurations for my goal, so any help would be much appreciated.

  This noise comes from a switching power supply.  The display needs a higher voltage that the battery provides so a boost converter is used for the power supply.  This is a common technique of circuit for the rails of high voltage for these portable devices outside a lower battery or 4V.  I see these kinds of chips.  What is surprising is that SanDisk used a switching frequency enough to be heard. Which is not common in those days, but could have been done to maintain consumption of energy or low price. If you push enough power through a wire thin and low enough frequencies you can hear it (been there, done that).

  I guess the noise is either tiny inducer in the Clip or even the screen itself.

• A5120 switch - 48G EI didn't poster not MAC addresses connected to the port card.

  I have a question about the HP 48 G Calculator: some expressions or a set of numbers are large front appear at the same time on the screen. Is there some sort of scrolling option so that you can get all this?

  Unfortunately, the 48 has no scroll built-in command for viewing quick and easy of the large objects.  However, if you press EDIT (left shift + /), you will be able to scroll the cursor through the object to see it all.  Unfortunately the large objects scroll slowly.  Pressing VIEW (SHIFT-arrow down left) runs the built-in Object Viewer, but it is usually even slower as the Publisher.

  Suggestion: Quick object viewers have been written that you can download and install your 48 g; view http://www.hpcalc.org/search.php?query=viewer & hp48 = 1 for the best of them.

• HP ProCurve 2920 - 48G: HP ProCurve 2920 - 48G with the issue of SFP

  Question: With copper connected between the two baskets on 20 Port (VLAN2), I have was ping another basket. But when we restart the switches with fiber Port 45 (VLAN2) instead of the cooper between two baskets, I cannot not ping another basket. Both switches HP report their 45 Port "Port State" as UP.   Hi, I made a household of VLAN and put 45-48 ports in the same VLAN, and it pings another grid very well now. Weird why SFP ports needed to be together.

  Great job to test mode without failure. In Safe Mode disables most of the third-party services, it could be a compatibility problem with an application that you have. Check out this article:

  You can not hold account that the title suggests it's to El Capitan. It applies to macOS Sierra as well.
