  I tried to open the video that have a .dvd file extension. I tried several trial programs, but none does not recognize the extension.   Have a HP Officejet Pro L7590 all-in-one.  Under Vista 64-bit.

  Updated my Center of solutions for version 14.  Now when I scan something, it scans OK then when I save to file it away.  Looked on the HP site and found Update critical for this problem, however, the critical update is to version 13 and when I try to run it it tells me I need not and will not continue.

  Also: (maybe something to do with the problem) when using the / opening of the solution Center, when I goes to the buttons "ScanPicture" or "Scan a Document" and then click on "Change settings" there is nothing in the drop-down list for the ' Scan To: ' section.

  Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times.  Does not work.

  Two questions actually related to each other.

  Please, try the following:

  Make sure that the HP Solution Center is closed.

  Enter C:\Program Files (x 86) \HP\Digital Imaging\bin and search for the file hpqxmlul.dll .

  Move this file to a temporary folder elsewhere as your office, just to backup porpuses.

  Download and save the following file to your desktop, remove it by double-clicking, a new hpqxmlul.dll file appears on your desktop.

  Move this file in C:\Program Files (x 86) \HP\Digital Imaging\bin.

  Today the launch of the HP Solution Center and test analysis, check any changes with the sweep for list as well.

  Please let me know of any changes.

• Scan a computer extract desired before the final scanning

  I have an Officejet 6600 and combination of MacBook Pro (Mt Lion) and with to be able to get a glimpse of my scans (mainly drawings) and be allowed to the area of treatment for the actual analysis.  Where is the place to implement that.  I could do with my old Office jet 5610 and the combination of Mac iBook.

  Your suggestion to search for another software provide the preview scan that could be cut before the final scan led me to look through my current Mac Applications and find the Image Capture, which has the possibility to do so.  I am so happy to have found the answer, although it is through the Apple software rather than the HP utility or software scan.

  Hello. When I scan the logo of our company in green, the PDF displays the logo in grey. I have not tried with other colors.

  The default scan for documents in PDF "workflow" set up to scan documents in black and white. Be sure to change the settings for scanning to scan color documents:

  2. based on Scan Settings open the "Scan to Computer".
  3. click on the tab scan tasks.
  4. Select the affected shortcut and click on change... (or double-click on the shortcut).

  7. now select the color option, and then click OK to save the changes. The next scanned using this workflow is displayed in color.

  You can ignore the text which says that it is for network installations and also ignore the text informing Windows/Microsoft Update If a single update of a PC.
